The nifty design is evenly distributed throughout, from the Art Deco wallpaper to the uplit library walls. Rooms nod to their setting—a classic Georgian building—but feature cool modern touches, like a golden geometric light that hangs from a coffered ceiling in one of the suites. Padded gray headboards offer a contemporary edge, and bursts of color come in the form of mustard and turquoise. Thankfully, though, Iveagh Garden isn't just all show and no substance—rather awesomely, it sources its energy from an underground river. Nice. What’s the crowd like?Part iPhone-toting millennials, part businesspeople, part Irish travelers. Harcourt Street is home to Dublin’s biggest nightclubs, so things can get a little rowdy at night. Got it. Now, the good stuff: Tell us about your room.Rooms nod to their setting—a classic Georgian building—but feature cool modern touches, like a golden geometric light that hangs from a coffered ceiling in one of the suites. Try to book a room overlooking the gardens; the soon-to-be-completed Presidential Suite will have those killer views. How about the little things; anything extra of note?The Irish love their tea, so you’ll see Barry’s tea bags in every room. Room service and food: Worth it?The small menu hits the mark with dishes such as a marinated peri-peri chicken burger and a 21-day aged sirloin. Prices are fairly reasonable (€15/$17 and €28.50/$33, respectively) with an €8 ($9) tray charge, so there's no need to feel guilty about eating in your robe. Anything stand out about other services and features? Whatever stuck with you.The Botanical Bar stocks an impressive collection of gins and London Essence tonics, and Elle's Bar & Bistro has a short, hearty menu of comfort food.
