Ivory Cleaners

This place really gives 5-star service in all regards. I get my laundry done there at least once a week (usually more often because let's be honest, it's NYC) and the service is always truly great. They pick up my laundry, handle it with care, and deliver it promptly. I trust this place with my clothes. Any time there has been a slight issue (which happens in all businesses), they are VERY quick to rectify it. This is high quality service. I also use them for dry cleaning and alterations and have been more than satisfied with all of these services. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the Yorkville or UES area.

I was in town for a short while and been their customer during my trip and I can say that they are the best laundry service I experienced. All stains were removed and they did an exquisite job on my 2 pants that I had them altered even though I needed it rushed. All in all, everything is superb and will definitely recommend their service to friends in town.

Highly recommend! I accidentally spilled red ink from a pen in my sofa cover and I tried everything to get it out without any luck. They were able to clean this up and left no sign of stain. 5 stars!

I have been a customer for the last few months and couldn’t be happier. It is clear that Vincent has a lot of pride in his business. Always a great job. He has been able to get out every stain, and every stubborn dog hair. Cleaning is done quickly and efficiently and can be picked up and delivered as well. They also offer quality alterations which I have been happy too. Definitely an asset to the neighborhood.

Could not be happier with the fact that they saved my favorite leather jacket. Cannot even tell that there was a rip in one of the seams.

I transferred here from my previous dry cleaners since pandemic. Ivory Cleaners really did a great job with my clothes that has stains and dog hairs that my past dry cleaners can't get off. Vincent was really kind to accommodate me and picked up my laundry even on short notice.

They are the BEST! Have been going weekly since I moved to UES. Service with a smile. Have had 2 situations where I was traveling and needed something expedited. Both times it was taken care of - no questions asked. I recommended to anyone and everyone!!!!

They ruined a $175 dress shirt. Didn’t care at all. Will never go back there.

Fantastic business doing what they can to stay open during lockdown. Have always loved these guys and appreciate them staying open right now as much as they can, even with reduced hours.

I wish I could leave this cleaners 0 stars. While the people who work there are very nice, the laundry service is beyond terrible. Every white shirt in our laundry bag that went there to get cleaned came back GREY with detergent stains all over. I didn't even recognize our soft fluffy ivory towels because they came back grey and rough - I attached a picture to show the difference between what one still looks like that didn't go to the cleaners, and the other that did. Do yourself a favor and DON'T bring your wash and fold here.

Ruined $2k worth of designer pants by laundering instead of dry cleaning. Another dry cleaner in neighborhood is trying to correct the fabric. Would give 0 stars.

For what this place charges, the quality and service does not match. Not to mention, they will start overcharging you once you become a regular. When you question the manager about any of the charges, he gets angry and cannot be reasoned with. STAY AWAY from this place! There are much better options in the area.

I had an amazing experience with Ivory Cleaners. Someone spilled dark sauce all over my brand new jacket. I called about 4 or 5 cleaners and Ivory had the best price. Their customer service was amazing and their turn around time was half the time that other places had quoted, and yes..... the got the stain out completely. I highly recommend them to any one on the UES!

I used to use Ivory years ago and had great service. When I moved back to the neighborhood I was happy to bring my business back to them, but after one visit will never return. I brought several sweaters and blouses all of which were returned shrunken--as if they had been washed not dry cleaned. Two items were so badly damaged I can't wear them anymore. I brought them back to ask if anything could be done and was insulted by the manager. I held up one blouse and showed him physically how much it had shrunk--literally turned into a crop top, and he still wouldn't acknowledge the issue. When I showed him the back of one sweater which had multiple tears and looked almost shredded he claimed he would have noticed it, so it couldn't have been caused by them. They cost me hundreds of dollars in irreplaceable clothing and offered "a small credit, maybe" for the trouble. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this place.

Zero stars. All of our linens come back with more stains than we sent. Our whites come back dingey and/or yellowed. This place is the worst.

I just recently moved in the neighborhood and tried out this cleaners. Ive been coming here for a few months already, and the quality of the dry cleaning is superb. Vincent, the manager, always has a friendly attitude. He assures my clothes return in a timely manner. Highly recommend this place!

I used to work in the area and it only took one visit to make me a lifelong fan of this place. I have brought everything from wool winter coats to silk blouses (not to mention my regular laundry) here and they never cease to amaze me. They do QUALITY work and have never once let me down. Aside from being great at what they do, their service is FAST and AFFORDABLE. They even have free delivery! Vincent is awesome and Ivory Cleaners always goes above and beyond for their customers. They will remember your name and preferences/routine and you'll quickly feel like a part of the family. I still go back all the time even though there are other places closer to me - that should say a lot. I can't recommend them enough :)

Great service! I am always greeted with a smile and they remember me even though I don't go too often. I love that they deliver at no extra charge. I'm hoping to try the laundry service (by the pound) sometime soon. They do a great job with dry-cleaning and always deliver at the time the quoted. They even rushed an order for me at no extra charge the first time I went in because I needed my items for an upcoming trip. I won't go anywhere ekles for my dry-cleaning needs as long as I live in the UES.

I miss Ivory Cleaners and I've only been out of the neighborhood for 4 weeks. They team there is so nice and friendly - they work quickly and at the end of the year they even gave me a bottle of wine. Trying to find a similarly clean and friendly place in the Village.... keep your fingers crossed :)

I have used them twice for dry cleaning and once for wash & fold and I will not be going back. My dry cleaned shirts come back with wrinkles all over them and missing their collar stays. For the wash & fold, my whites now have a dingy discolored look to them and some of the pieces of clothing have spots on them.

Just moved to area and decided to try this place out and I'm glad I did! The service was great. I came in with a wine spill on my new Dolce dress and they were able to get it out with no problems.

This place is excellent. Very helpful and nice employees. Dry cleaning and laundry delivered on time. Clothing alterations have been flawless.
