Ivy House

This place is a gem, Wilma the proprietor is so warm and welcoming even arriving lat 9pm. She explained keys, shower etc. Immaculate room as is all other other areas. Very comfy bed. For a B&B it's more like a private hotel, tea/ coffee in room, bottled water, biscuits. Will recommend to anyone visiting or working in the area.

This is a lovely guest house. The owner was very friendly and helpful with my cycle. The room was clean and very relaxing with a good quality tv. Wi-Fi was good and breakfast was great too. It’s well placed for a number of restaurants and directly opposite a large Morrisons supermarket. Loved my stay there.

B&B in great, central location with on-street parking. Rooms weren't the most modern, but were more than adequate and very comfortable with good en suite and in room facilities. The host was very friendly and the breakfast was good (although not served late), as were the Covid measures. Good value for money. I would definitely stay here again.

I thought that this was a fantastic B&B - the owner was very friendly and helpful (even though I arrived covered in mud after a day of hiking!). My room was comfortable and warm, and incredibly good value for money, and the breakfast was tasty and very filling. I only stayed for one night on this occassion, but I hope to return for a longer stay.

We spend 2 wonderful evenings at this quaint B&B in the center of town. The owner, Wilma is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfasts were plentiful and superb! We HIGHLY recommend this B&B for your next stay in Stranraer!!!

Exceptional B&B, the host is extremely cheerful and helpful, the room with on suite facilities was excellent, very very clean,I didn’t stay for the breakfast so can’t comment on that.|Overall I’d recommend anyone coming to Stranraer for an overnight stay or longer to book here, you won’t be disappointed
