We (our family of 4) stayed at Iyon Pansiyon at the end of July 2023 in Room 10 (the biggest room available). |Room size was ideal for our family, and space had exactly what we needed. |Location was great, just 1 block away from the sea, which was great to avoid any noise from the exciting waterfront. |Service and hospitality was great, including the morning breakfast. Although we tried to speak a bit of Turkish, they were great to serve us in English, which made our stay easier.|Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend this place to others.|

We’ve stayed 2 nights 3 days and it was an great experience! The owners are so nice and interested, rooms are very clean and the hotel location is in the center of Foça,2-3 minutes from the sea. Rooms are very nice and sweet. Thank you for your hospitality.

Stayed here for two nights, in June, with my daughter...she had found the place for us. Perfect location close to the beach, but still off the main street. Lovely little room facing the courtyard, with nice size bathroom and a little fridge. A delicious Turkish breakfast was served each morning and everyone was so friendly and sweet to us!

We just needed a place for one night on our way back to Izmir, and I'm so glad we found this place. The room was basic, but had everything we needed, and the location is perfect. The lobby/common room is very cozy; we sat by the wood stove for hours playing cards. The staff was super friendly. We'll definitely come back.

My sister, our friend, and I all left our phone chargers in our rooms when we departed for Izmir. I contacted the owner, Umut, and he arranged to have our chargers delivered to our hotel in Izmir (about a 1-1/2 or 2 hour drive as I remember) the next day. Thank you so much Umut. ||My sister and I had a room upstairs facing the sea a block away. When we awoke we saw trees and vines and the Aegean. Our friend took a room facing the garden. Rooms were spacious, bathrooms also spacious, and we appreciated that there were lots of hooks to hang stuff. ||The breakfast was a generous buffet in a glass-enclosed room on the ground floor and included dried fruits, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, honey, simit, eggs, cheeses, olives, arugula, parsley, and of course plenty of tea. ||The waterfront in Foca has not been invaded with new ugly buildings or high rises. There are plenty of fish restaurants and cafes. We went to the outdoor market and bought fruit and honey. We discovered a beer called Bomonte which we really like and later found in Istanbul as well.||The beach in Foca (in October) is OK. We meant to take a swim off the wooden platform at the end of our street, but the water was too cold for us. ||We stayed only one night so did not visit any sites around Foca.||Iyon Pansiyon definitely recommended. Very clean.||The ONLY thing we did not like was that the staff were smoking in their office and you could smell the smoke a little upstairs.

Practically the place lured me to itself. When I was searching for a place to stay in Foça, I found Iyon Pansiyon's website and immediately decided that we should stay here. I was right with my decision to the end.||Building is an old stone Greek style house. With its 10 rooms and ideal location -a bit inside from the seaside street and sea- it offers you a quiet escapade among the center of all action. Restaurants, old fort, Foça center is a mere five minutes walk, and marina and port is maybe ten to fifteen. ||Stuff is cheerful and helpful and they are really happy to see you. They really act like you're part of the family. ||We stayed in a suite room (smaller than a hotel suite but this is a B&B) which is facing the front of the building. This gave us a sea view through a narrow street and through tree branches. Room is brightly lit by indirect sunlight. Also has all basic needs. Satellite TV, hairdryer and a mini fridge to keep your drinks cool.

This was my second stay at Iyon Pension. I am lured here like as if by the Sirenes in the Aegean.||This time I reserved the large rooms upstairs so that I could see the harbor in the morning. Eight rooms are downstairs around a lovely courtyard, two upstairs.||Ummet carried my bags upstairs, the taxi driver carried them down on my trip to Izmir’s airport.||This is just a lovely place to spend time. Close to the harbor, the beach, and to restaurants and markets. It is an historic old stone building in a town with lovely, walkable streets and little shops.||Breakfast is from 9AM to 11AM and is classic Mediterranean fare; olives, tomatoes, cucumber, boiled eggs, walnuts, cheeses, bread, parsley and green peppers. Nescafé, cay, hot water, juices and, of course, honey round out the spread.||I can not wait to return.

It was one week vacation at İyon Pansiyon. The staff do their best to make their guests happy. They are very warm and friendly. There is no need to mention a lot about the place itself. You will definetely like it if you are looking for a peaceful holiday. Just go there and experience it yourself. For me, this place is only associated with good memories.
