My sister, our friend, and I all left our phone chargers in our rooms when we departed for Izmir. I contacted the owner, Umut, and he arranged to have our chargers delivered to our hotel in Izmir (about a 1-1/2 or 2 hour drive as I remember) the next day. Thank you so much Umut. ||My sister and I had a room upstairs facing the sea a block away. When we awoke we saw trees and vines and the Aegean. Our friend took a room facing the garden. Rooms were spacious, bathrooms also spacious, and we appreciated that there were lots of hooks to hang stuff. ||The breakfast was a generous buffet in a glass-enclosed room on the ground floor and included dried fruits, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, honey, simit, eggs, cheeses, olives, arugula, parsley, and of course plenty of tea. ||The waterfront in Foca has not been invaded with new ugly buildings or high rises. There are plenty of fish restaurants and cafes. We went to the outdoor market and bought fruit and honey. We discovered a beer called Bomonte which we really like and later found in Istanbul as well.||The beach in Foca (in October) is OK. We meant to take a swim off the wooden platform at the end of our street, but the water was too cold for us. ||We stayed only one night so did not visit any sites around Foca.||Iyon Pansiyon definitely recommended. Very clean.||The ONLY thing we did not like was that the staff were smoking in their office and you could smell the smoke a little upstairs.
