I’m truly disappointed to have to write this review. I’ve stayed at IZE before and had a great experience in the past, but unfortunately, it seems the hotel has declined significantly since then — and I won’t be returning.||There are clear signs of operational issues, possibly due to staff shortages. The most frustrating example was the rooftop bar. At check-in, we were told it was open — only to discover it was closed. When we inquired, staff gave inconsistent answers: one said it was under renovation (it wasn’t), another said there was simply no staff to run it. It felt like we were being misled.||The pool was ice cold — far too cold to use in October, despite the hot weather. The sun sail over the pool blocks out warmth, and the pool area is poorly furnished with no proper tables or seating.||We booked a spa room expecting to enjoy a relaxing bath, only to find that there was no hot water for most of our three-night stay. The best we could get was lukewarm, even with the hot tap fully turned on. For the price ($150 per night), this was unacceptable.||The room also had design flaws — particularly the bathroom window, which lets in a lot of light at night. ||There is a blind, but it’s hidden behind the door and unusable unless you’re inside the bathroom, making it pretty much useless for blocking light while sleeping. A very strange and unhelpful design.||To add to the frustration, we were almost charged for a broken glass in the room (which we refused), and were charged for an ice bucket — something that felt petty for a hotel of this standard.||On a more positive note:||* The bed was very comfortable.|I appreciated the option to change pillows after experiencing neck pain from the high ones provided.||* And a special mention to Yusran, the doorman, who was genuinely helpful, friendly, and a credit to the hotel.||Unfortunately, those positives weren’t enough to outweigh the overall poor experience. ||IZE used to be a great hotel, but it clearly needs a shake-up. ||Disappointed to say we won’t be coming back.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a truly outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, the team greeted me with genuine warmth and friendly smiles, no effort was spared to make me feel welcome. The hotel staff were exceptional: always upbeat, attentive, and ready to assist wherever they could, that made all the difference. The room was fantastic… very spacious… modern and clean. There’s also a modern gym, and the whole design feels fresh and contemporary. The amenities were fantastic and comfortable. Everything felt just right for a stay in the heart of Seminyak. I’ll be sad to leave—but I wholeheartedly recommend IZE Seminyak to anyone visiting Bali. It’s a place where you feel looked after.

The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the heart of Seminyak. Walking distance to beach clubs, the mall, and many popular cafes. However, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. My friend and I felt the floors could be much cleaner as they felt really dusty. The curtains made us sneeze several times so we never opened them. The bathroom was alright but when I turned the shower on, the smell from the drainage was off putting. Also there were some ants on my bed that I had to brush off. For it being a 4 star hotel, we definitely expected a lot more in cleanliness. The front desk were always friendly though and always smiled & greeted us when we passed by.

Fantastic Location and Exceptional Service!!! The location is absolutely perfect—convenient and close to everything we need. A special mention goes to the reception staff, who were incredibly friendly and helpful. We experienced a booking issue that was the fault of the third-party agency (Booking.com). We had reserved a room with direct pool access via a “partner offer,” but the booking platform only processed a standard deluxe room. Despite this, the hotel staff handled the situation exceptionally well. After a few conversations, the reception team checked with the manager and kindly upgraded us to the correct room type without any extra charge. Their attitude throughout was warm, professional, and accommodating. ++The room with direct access to the pool is stunning and a major highlight of the property. The room itself was beautifully maintained and very comfortable. Overall, we’re very very happy with our stay and would definitely return. Highly recommended! :)

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, many restaurants and shops around. My room was very comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, which made it perfect for relaxing after a long day. What really stood out was the service – the staff (Putu and Kasih) were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting!

Loved our stay at IZE in Seminyak! Super clean, modern hotel in a great location – just a short walk to the beach and close to everything in Seminyak. The vibe is really chill, perfect for relaxing. The staff were amazing – so friendly and professional. Huge thanks to Ema, who was especially lovely and helpful throughout our stay. Exactly what we needed for a perfect Bali getaway!
