Easy to find in Simpson Bay and a convenient parking lot sits alongside it.

Food was incredible here. We had veal parmigiana, four cheese ravioli and lasagna. All 3 dishes were incredible! We had crème brûlée and lava cake for dessert, both were delicious. This is must visit if you are in the mood for Italian.

Well in 13 yrs of coming here finally found the most disappointing place to eat and on valentines day .I waited an hour just to get a drink the food was basic at best our waiter needs to go to waiter school then we waited an hour after eating for the bill. The reasoning was computer glitch or something owner was very rude to all of us all he did all night was open a windows and pulled plates out so I would not recommend here ever and I gave my leftovers to some island dogs not sure if they liked it

We had an absolutely fantastic meal here on our last night on the island. The staff were super friendly and treated everyone like they were their long-lost best friend that they hadn’t seen in a while! The cheesecake was wonderful and definitely get a Limoncello shot to close out the night!

Update 9/29/24 I was so excited to be getting back to my favorite Italian restaurant in St. Maarten, it’s been over 8 years (due to Irma & Covid). The restaurant liked the same but it is now under a different ownership, Andy who was so awesome in his greeting, spending time at the table and conversations. Her really shows a great deal of passion in what his love of running Izi is all about! Our waiter, “Sebastian (maniscalco) R.” LOL was awesome in how he presented himself at our table of 6, in his conversations and recommendations and his delivery and timing of our dinner. He was just super!!!! We started off with the amazing Izi Antipasto with plenty of items to enjoy! The Ceaser salad was crisp and delicious with a nice blend of cheese and garlic with the croutons. For dinner, I had the Rigatoni Amatriciana ( which used to be on the menu and was specially made for me). The generous and hearty position of my dinner was so enjoyed as I scooped using my fork one Rigatoni at a time and enjoyed it piece piece by piece. The said pasta was loaded up with assorted shellfish in a delicious red sauce. The Linguini Vongole was a generous portion of pasta loaded with clams in their shell and the sauce was thoroughly enjoyed. The shrimp Risotto was amazing, delicious with a wonderful taste of truffle as well. I highly recommend Izi as a must for an amazing dinner while in St. Maarten. I can’t wait to return! Thank you Andy for being so hospitable and lots of fun. And special thanks to Sebastian who took total charge of our dining experience, you were on the top of your game!!!! One of the very best places for Italian food we've ever been to... anywhere! The pasta is fresh and delicious. The fresh out of the oven warm dinner rolls, and TiraMisu for dessert were real highlights. Don't miss this place. We had an absolutely amazing dinner!

Just when we thought Izi couldn’t get any better, it did! Izi not only has great food and service but the members of the team Pasquale, Sebastian, and Johan all made us feel at home. We started with the Buffalo mozzarella burrata and prosciutto topped with homemade pesto along with the crab cakes. The crab cakes packed a punch with the flavor in every bite! Onto the main course we got the black truffle risotto and sea scallops and the rack of lamb. The black truffle risotto with sea scallops had shaved truffle on top and the sea scallops were cooked to perfection! Onto the rack of lamb, it was originally paired with mashed potatoes but I put the trust in Pasquale’s hands to pick a side, and boy did he deliver! He brought out what was the best meal I have had in SXM! The rack of lamb with the side of mushroom risotto and topped with Parmesan cheese. Every bite that I had kept getting better and better. Lastly was the espresso martini that Johan not only made but also delivered to the table since it was so busy in there. Just a fine oiled machine in there. Topped with 3 coffee beans and chilled this went down smooth and left a great taste in our mouth! All in I give this a 4.9/5 and highly recommend, especially on a night that you might not want to sit outside. You won’t be disappointed! #fineoiledmachine

I had a delightful dining experience at Izi Ristorante Italiano! The seabass and rib eyes were cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor and accompanied by mouthwatering sides. The attentive service and charming ambiance made for a truly enjoyable evening. I can't wait to return and explore more of their exquisite menu. Highly recommended!
