Good location and helpful team , they are polite and decent, the place smells good , not very luxurious but it is more than enough , they didn't put tooth brush in the pathroom but it is OK , I liked it

This hotel has the perfect location. It's situated in the middle of Konak and Alsancak right on the waterfront. We had a room with a sea view and the sunsets were amazing from our balcony. Apart from the perfect location, this hotel is a bit run down and very outdated. Our room was clean, but it's in desperate need of updating. It seems like the hotel was busy working on one of the floors, so hopefully, things will look better soon.||The beds and bedding did not feel like great quality. Something like a mattress topper and better pillows will improve sleep quality a lot. The blanket in the cupboard was also not very soft.||Something to keep in mind with booking a sea view room, the restaurants downstairs are very noisy till late at night. You can hear conversations and cutlery moving. The AC is ancient and had a strange smell when we tried to turn it on, so we opted to sleep with the balcony door open. Luckily we are deep sleepers, otherwise, this would have been a problem with the noise from below.||Font desk staff speak English but were of no help when asked how to get a public transport card or questions on how to get to certain attractions. The Izmirim card for public transport can be purchased at the offices left of the pedestrian bridge as you head to Konak. Nevertheless, the staff was still friendly and helped with our bags.||Breakfast had a good selection of food. Coffee and juice are served in paper cups, which is not great for the price you pay to stay here. It would really not take much to have proper glasses and mugs. The juice was Cappy juice from a bottle - other hotels in Turkey in the same price range serve fresh juice.

The previous reviews were quite alarming, yet we went ahead with our two night stay just to check it out for ourselves. It was a pleasant stay without any inconveniences. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and had all the amenities that we expected. The view was breathtaking, the sunsets from the room were priceless. Breakfast was very good as well. We were pleased we chose to stay here. |A proper comforter on the bed would have elevated the room a notch above. No other shortcomings. No bugs, no smells.

There seems to be varying reviews on here but overall, I found this hotel to be fine. Sure, it is dated (on the door it says 4* but it’s really only a 3*) and most of the staff don’t speak English (I know it’s an inconvenience but remember it is Turkey - In England most people only speak English!), but they are pleasant enough. The rooms are clean and cleaned (but not changed) daily. They have most things you’ll need - Iron, fridge, toiletries/essentials, safe, tea/coffee etc. I did have a couple of issues (the shower hose needed changing and the safe didn’t work) but they were fixed. I had a city view room (but had a good view of the sea) and had no issues with noise (if you keep your windows closed) or toilet smells (seems like only the sea view rooms suffer from this). Breakfast was adequate and the location excellent. It’s also reasonable value. One thing that is misleading on the website - It shows a restaurant. But this is independent and not part of the hotel!

If you don't like smelling like cigarette's, do Not stay at this hotel. I thought I did good research before booking this hotel, but I was wrong. The photo's look really nice. The view from the balcony was beautiful and location great. The room was very old and out dated, there were holes in the walls, the phone in our room didn't work. The room smelled So strongly of cigarettes that we put our luggage outside on the balcony. We asked to switch rooms, but were told there weren't any others available. An hour after arriving, we couldn't stand the smell (we sat outside on the balcony the whole time) so we booked a different hotel and asked for a refund. We did not sit on the bed or use anything in the room except the toilet and opened one of the room slippers. The hotel had charged us in advance for two night. Not only did they refuse to give us a refund for this night, but wrote down our credit card number and said they'd have to refund the second night. We were not happy about writing down our credit card number. In the end, they never refunded the second night either. I do not write bad reviews often, but this was a terrible experience. I would Not recommend staying here.

The location of the hotel is fantastic in front of the park and the sea at Konak. The staff was polite. The rooms were in general clean but old with obvious signs of moisture. The air-conditioned were at least 20 years old in my room and the carpet very old with all that entails. the price was the same as other hotels in the area. Breakfast was unacceptable for the 4-star hotel.

When we arrived the front desk guy wasn't helpful at all. The rest of the staff totally the opposite. At first I thought I picked the wrong hotel, but everyone else made up for it. Rooms are nice and comfortable. Room with a mini bar. Reasonable prices for it. Great breakfast!

Location of the hotel is very good, however hotel is a little bit old bit despite of the rooms are clean and good. Just A/C is working a little bit noisy.
