J & M Books and Play

This is a lovely book store in the heart of Parkersburg, WV. The staff are lively, they have a lot of interesting books, puzzles, and other things you can purchase. Overall, a wonderful place to visit, especially of you love reading.

Good that there's a local indie bookseller but their selection is wanting. Perhaps predictable for the area, there's also probably triple the qty of Christian romance, Amish fiction, and bibles than any other category, barring possibly "thrillers". Wysiwyg That said, there are a lot of cheap and classic titles, and the games selection is fairly good

Neat little store dealing in a wide variety of books and games. They also have a bargain dungeon, and a couple of shelves with games that can be rented or bought. Nice, cozy atmosphere. Can recommend.

J & M Bookstore is a Community Standard! It's a Family Friendly environment that focuses on the individual adventure of literature and the thoughtful collaborative experience of tabletop gaming. Jason and his team are exceptional.

Awesome and unique place. The young lady today was so nice and answered all my questions. I can't wait to bring my youth group back here. I know it will be fun.

My wife drug me here and it was amazing. They don't just have book, but graphics novels, Manga, tabletop accessories and board games. The Escape Room is pretty awesome as well. Would definitely recommend.

One of our favorite places in my family. We are very lucky to have such a nice used book store. I have noticed some of the prices are a bit high lately for popular books. But, it's nice to buy local.

Jason has a huge selection of books, games, and puzzles. His staff is always courteous and helpful finding what I need. J&M Bookstore is also always very generous helping the community. I highly recommend stopping by and saying hello. Just make sure you have plenty of time! There's always good deals to be found.
