We were downtown looking for somewhere to have lunch and came across J Dolans. I have walked by many times and never went in; today was the day. As soon as I stepped in I was transported back to a neighborhood Boston bar. We sat at the bar and ordered Margarita Pizza which was good size and very flavorful, the crust was crunchy and light. The Jalepeno poppers and onions rings were definitely NOT frozen and were excellent! Service was great! Will definitely be back and recommend!

Incredibly delicious pie! I wanted something different from all the heavy Hawaiian food we were consuming on vacation. As delicious as they were, I just needed variety and J. Dolan answered the call. The fresh spinach and chopped garlic pizza was the perfect choice. The light flavors of the ricotta and spinach went well with the savory garlic and incredible crust. Surprisingly, as much as I wanted to avoid feeling heavy….we finished the pizza. It was impossible not to. After the first slice, we couldn’t put down our food and we kept digging for more. At least we didn’t order another one because it was definitely considered. So at least I got variety, but my lack of self control continued the trend of feeling heavy…but who cares? We’re on vacay!

My siblings and I came here for dinner just to try it out. This place did not disappoint because the lady that served us really took great care of us. We did wait a bit to get seats (waited about ~10mins), which isn’t too bad since we did come a little early (around 8p) for dinner. We also didn’t wait very long for our food to arrive. We ordered the jalapeño poppers, chicken wings, 2 pies (the 6 cheese and we made our own pie). I wouldn’t recommend the 6 cheese pie, it wasn’t that good, we should have stuck with the margherita pie instead. Other than that, I’d say the best time to come here is around 8-9p. We’d definitely come back again.

One of the best places on Oahu to get New England style pizza. They have great wings , fries and service . This spot has a great old school feel , like your in an old pub. Parking is abundant but you have to pay. Many parking structures

A little hole in the wall bar with amazing pizza. If you are craving good pizza and beer, stop by J Dolans

Foods really good little pricey. But worth it for the price. Not much seating in there and parking is little hard to find. Other than that service was good. Definitely will be back.

My favorite pizza in town. SO delicious. Would recommend doing half & half so you can try more flavors of pizza.

Yelp
I have yet to dine in person at this establishment but we often order take out to share at the office. We LOVE the chicken wings, we order a side of wings per person Sometimes though someone gets 10 pieces and others get 12 Yes we count the wings LOL When we really want to treat ourselves we pick up a few pies to share and love it. Very yummy, thin sliced and generously sized.

Yelp
*DISCLAIMER* Ordered take out for work so this review is being written for luke warm pizza. Crust (3/5): average crust, garlicky crispy, thin, crunchy, and chewy. Pizza reminds me of a Newyork slice. They use semolina to coat the bottom of their pizza White pizza (4/5): ricotta is sweet. White sauce is mild which compliments the sweetness of the ricotta and the slight acidity of the garlic crust. The ricotta was a bit thicker with a lower moisture content. Deli meat pizza (3/5) : bacon ham and pepperoni on marinara. Sauce is more acidic which is amplified by the saltiness of the three meats Spinach pizza (3.5/5): super garlic forward. The ricotta compliments the acidity from the garlic but the ricotta is only on one portion of each slice so some bites are more acidic than others which affects the eating experience. The pizza here is good and the price is reasonable. I would recommend a white cheese pizza with ricotta. However, I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to eat here.

Yelp
Hidden Gem Alert: J. Dolan's Irish Pub Last night, we decided to venture out of Waikiki and discovered J. Dolan's Irish Pub--a fantastic spot for thin-crust pizza in Honolulu! The crust was perfectly crisp, the toppings were fresh and flavorful, and the whole vibe of the place was so welcoming. We also ordered the chicken wings, which I really enjoyed paired with a side of ranch, and the garden salad, which was fresh and delicious. On top of the amazing food, the service was excellent, making the experience even better. If you're in Honolulu and craving some seriously good pizza, wings, and great service, J. Dolan's is a must-try!

Yelp
Solid spot. A go-to for dine in and takeout. When another spot I planned to go to today was closed, I checked to see if J. Dolan's was open and sure enough they were! Not only are their pizzas top notch, their sides too! I love their onion rings, their jalapenos poppers, and chicken wings to name a few. The server was also extremely friendly--we really liked her. I'm happy we ended up here today. Will be back like always!

Yelp
Usually super happy with their food. This time, take out...$80+ worth. I clearly got old fries. Fish and chicken all still hot...although chicken hella salty and fish not very good. But I bought fish & chips mainly for the fries since it's usually spot on. Fries cold and chewy. What the heck guys. Nobody should have to eat that crap. Way to unload that on a sucker... take out buyers beware.

Yelp
Downtown and the start of the New Lunar Year of the snake. We were craving for pizza and where else to satisfy our hunger. This was an early dinner since we were planning to see Nurse John at the Hawaii Theater which is across the street from Dolan's. We had the Garlic and Spinach pizza and it was so delicious. Fresh spinach, garlic and ricotta cheese. Yum. The service was great and our server was super nice! Ambiance is fine if you don't mind music in the background and lots of chatter.

Yelp
On a Friday night the bar and dinner area are busy! There's a wait for a table or you can sit at the bar, just getting lucky to get a seat or two when you can. It has a vibe I'm back in the city of Boston or a New England and it feels a place I'd like to swing by after a hectic day at work. I grabbed a slice of pizza and a glass of wine. Later did I learn the bartenders make fantastic drinks and they are adorable under $10, which since living here it's usually anywhere from $12-$25 a drink. I only tried a slice of the cheese pizza and know I could probably eat the whole Pie by myself, i have to go back asap to make sure I wasn't imagining delicious pizza like this here in Hawai'i. Derek was a bit more attentive than Russ after switching seats at a point for a different view. I hate sitting with my back to the door. The bathrooms are one stall for each gender in the back, pretty clean for a pub setting. There is an ATM in side to the right of the door if you need it, I didn't even notice it at first.

Yelp
Delicious white garlic and spinach pizza! Loved the dollops of ricotta cheese on each slice!

Yelp
Love this place. I've been here three times since moving down the street a month ago. Their pizza is really good. The best part for our family is that they allow kids. Our kids love the fish and chips. So our combo is an order of fish and chips and two slices of pizza.

Yelp
Aloha Ahiahi, kinda late here in Hawai'i Nei; 9/24/2024. Dinner @J.Dolan's last evening, my Husband David wanted to come here & wanted me try their Pizza. (He kept raving about how good their Pizza is here!!). Someone @the Hospital he works at, bought Pizza for his Entire Department, Her Department & an Icu Department, to thank them for taking care of their loved one!! Very Appreciative of that person I'd say!! This Chill Pizza Joint is located right in our Hawai'i Chinatown, it pretty easy to find if your familiar with not only our lil Chinatown in Hawai'i Nei, but it's very near our "Hawai'i Theater", real Super easy to locate, you can't miss this place!! Arrived here right around 8:00 pm. Ish or So, this place was pretty busy & all the Tables were pretty filled up! We walked inside, I was looking for a Waitress l, then I heard this Wahine named *Brandi* yell out, OPENED SEATING, okay, I heard you Brandi, Loud & Clear...Lol. Found our Seats, *Brandi* came back to our table asking if if we wanted anything to drink, we Said sure. Water for David (Sm Glass??), then I ordered a Diet Coke, I prefer a Diet Pepsi more, but I'll take whatever "Diet Drink" they have, atm. Brandi came back with our Drinks, esp with David manini Cup (lol!) of H2o, which I even asked her if maybe she could put David Water in a bigger glass, maybe?? Not too sure if she heard me, okay, Whatevers?!! Haha... By then, both of us are hungry & we had the Menus, thnx *Brandi* 4 getting me a 2nd Menu. We ordered A Salad to share, Sorry, I wasn't too much impressed with their Salad, "Tossed Green Salad" is what we ordered, just too much Balsamic Dressing (Imho!) was drenched into our Salad, we barely ate half of it, kinda wish that they put some Olives & Carrots in our Salad!! Lol. By then, we asked if we could Order our Pizza, half & half Style & *Brandi* our Waitress told us why sure we can do that, Super cool!! We even asked *Brandi*, since it was our 1st time eating at this Pizza place, if she the could recommend which PizzaS are popular that most ppl Order from here!! She then recommend the PizzaS that we Ordered, which were the, "Giacomo & Spinach & Garlic Pizza", not bad price for our Pizza ($23.50), Considering that the Pizza was a pretty Nui Size for the both of us, when our Pizza order arrived to our Table, nice & Hot!! The Pizza was good tasting & filling for us. I didn't try the "Spinach & Garlic" Slice of Pizza, I was too full after enjoying my (2) Slices of the "Giacomo" meat Style of Pizza. My Husband David, really enjoyed his (2) Slices of the "Spinach & Garlic" Pizza. We again, had leftovers to take home with us!! I also ordered some French Fries, which again I didn't know that you can order a half Sz order, per our Cool Waitress *Brandi*, little did I know that the French Fries were going to be Delish, Shoe String style of French Fries! We would definitely order a Side order of those French Fries again, Full order!! Haha. Great service here, our Waitress constantly filled up David Water, checked on us Continously, which was Nice, especially knowing that she was the only Waitress Working the Entire place that evening, while the *Bartender* brought our food to our table & other ppl Pizza orders to their respective tables aswell!! We will definitely be back here again, to enjoy their Ono Pizza & maybe next time, Hubby David can enjoy a cold glass of beer! He couldn't drink beer that evening, he had to work the next day at the Hospital he works at, (12 hr) shift, so yeah. Why only 4 Stars, it was our 1st time here & I'm pretty sure when we come back & try other yummies on the Menu, I'm pretty sure I'd rate them, with 5 Stars :). We'll, Hopefully also that your Water glasses are Bigger & not that Manini Sz, that was served to my Husband. Our Waitress came by lots & lots of times to refill his Water, that was really Cool of her!! Mahalo Nui, *Brandi*, your a Hardworking Wahine & Funny too!! Lol. Mahalo Nui, J. Dolan's for your Great tasting Pizza & your Ono Crispy French Fries!! Hope you'll get some *Diet Pepsi* on your Menu Soon. Lol!

Yelp
The service was great and friendly. Stopped on for a pizza to go. Well the pizza was disappointing. The dough was thin ( not bad) but chewy and over worked. I had asked for well done so I expected a little crispy and some burnt crust, but not close The toppings were minimal and overall a disappointing experience when I got back to open the take out pizza.

Yelp
I'd been hearing rave reviews about J Dolan's and finally came for a Thursday 49ers game. Empty at first, but it was full by 5pm - and we still got a table after moving from the bar. We were excited to try the pizza (my dad likes JD and Black Shamrock Tavern for their pizza). The spinach garlic pizza with added chicken was so good! The jalapeño poppers were also solid. Overall, it was really nice to be able to hang at a table with pizza and drinks on a football night (afternoon) - would not be able to find space like this in the Bay. And, for 4 people, the total came out to 74.05$ including tip! Can't wait to make another trip to J Dolan's while we're here.

Yelp
Yup never been here... It's certainly better late than never as I planned on something else though J.Dolan's had crossed my lunch path you know I had to given them a peek. This cool Irish pub in Bethel Street seems basic from the outside though once you walk in the vibe here is just calm and welcoming (don't tell them that lol!) as many folks chose to sit at the bar so grabbed a table in the corner and ordered me a pizza. The staff here are on top of it as I entered she greeted me instantly and got my settings and order in a jiffy I enjoyed the various decor with Eminem to a Hawaiian Quilt. Taking it directly from the menu "Giacomo" is pronounced "Jock O' Mo" which has pepperoni, sausage, salami & black olives it sounds like the topping I'm ready for and what a deal as the pizza here is quite massive! Thin crust so you need two hands and with cheese and peppers table side they don't mess around as you need to fold this one to take a bite and what bite it was. Hot and delicious along with a cozy vibe...the slice of heaven is hot here! Thank you!

Yelp
J. Dolan's in Chinatown has some of the best pizzas and just overall such a chill vibe. Everyone just seems to be having the best times at J.Dolan's. It is in Chinatown so parking can be rough, but it's the perfect spot to either start or end your night at. Definitely catered to the younger ish crowd. When I went in they were playing 2000's pop punk and most people were singing along. We got the spinach and garlic pie and added anchovies (don't yuck my yum ok) the pizza comes with spinach, garlic and ricotta cheese dolloped on top. I love a nice thin crust and a little burnt for that extra bitter flavor and J.Dolan's definitely provides that. We also ordered some drinks but I can't say that they were anything special. I think I had some of their speciality shots and I rather wish I didn't. But hey, ya live and ya learn.

Yelp
My friend and I were walking up and down Fort Street Mall looking for a scheduled sunset fair (which never materialized) so we decided on dropping in for a slice of J Dolan's amazing pizza. It was early Friday evening so the place was busy, but we found two chairs at the bar. I had a black & tan & my friend had red wine together with a slice of pizza each - yummy!!! The bartender was fast & attentive, even apologizing to us when the pizza was late. Despite having two J Dolan's locations (excluding the Black Shamrock) this location is still the best & most Irish atmosphere.
google avatar

Yelp
Great place for lunch and drinks too. Been awhile since I been here, stopped by for lunch because the pizza is ono

Yelp
We came in for a slice of pizza and met Katie who was at the hostess stand. She took our order, brought us water, and we proceeded to talk story for a while! It wasn't busy yet so it made for a nice visit with a long time employee. When we told our friends about J. Dolan's serving slices of cheese or pepperoni pizza. Their crust is very good and it holds up nicely. Great bite. The cheese is whole milk, melty deliciousness! Their sauce has a strong flavor of oregano so it all comes together nicely! A few days later, my friends picked up 2 of their pies; shrimp scampi, and 1/2 boardwalk and 1/2 spinach ricotta (they do offer 1/2-1/2 pies) I loved the boardwalk flavors and the shrimp scampi pie. ALL were delicious!!

Yelp
If you're hungry after attending a show at the Hawaii Theatre across the street, J Dolans is the place to eat! It does get packed especially after an event, but the servers do their best to accommodate everyone. Our waitress, Jaime, was pretty much by herself tending to at least 30 diners, so props to her! My favorite pizza is the Deli Meat, but they offer custom options from their menu! I do prefer the Kahala location just because there's more free, accessible parking and it is far more spacious with outdoor dining option too, but if you're in town, check out this place out!
google avatar

Hanohano M.

Yelp
I actually are at the J. Dolan's Kahala Restaurant, the service there was excellent and the food was very delicious. We ordered basket of fries, onion rings, and two Chicken wings, it came out really fast and was hot and fresh, very nice and crispy. We also had. Caprese Salad, very tasty!!! We also ordered four pies, the four cheese Classic, Spinach and Garlic, margarita, and Giacomo. They also offered to have half and half pizza's but we went with the whole pies and they were all so very Ono!!! Our waiter was on it from the start, all coming by to see if we needed anything, refills, and he would always refill my Coke, even though it was still half full. He was the bomb, I'd highly recommend them

Yelp
We go once a week. The pizza is great. The toppings, crust, and cheese just make the pizza amazing. We mix it up and usually get a special. But if you're looking for a classic slice they got you covered with pepperoni and cheese. Let me tell you they don't disappoint.
google avatar

Derek W.

Yelp
Service was good, although a little slow - probably because there was a large party outside. This is definitely a bar-like atmosphere, it's not like a pizza hut or a place where you can talk seriously for a long time. It is clean, parking is pretty good, and it's a place where if you want to just veg out, it'll do the job. Beers on tap are good, nice selection. The pizza was okay . We had the shrimp scampi and the boardwalk. Both were okay. We also had the calamari, which was also okay. The french fries in the fish & chips were the best part of the meal. I think you would go back if you want a selection of beer and watch some sports.

Yelp
We were attending a play at ART @ Mark's Garage so we came early to get street parking and enjoy a bite to eat. We got there about 5:30 on a Wednesday and grabbed a table. There were a bunch of open table, not a lot but within a hour or so, place was full. No ressies but I think they do for large groups. It's got a pub feel to it but not overwhelming loud. There was a bunch of beer on tap as well as Guinness. Just came back from the UK so we had a bit of sticker shock, seeing the prices for $6.50 to $7.50 for beer. The pizze ran about $21-23 for a medium size. We got a basket each of fries (skinny shoestring style) and onion rings ($9) and the caprese salad ($11.75). We ordered a 1/2 and 1/2 with spinach/garlic and pepperoni. The thin crust was nice and crispy without being hard and I was told they don't add salt to their pizze which I appreciated since I 'm trying to be good about salt intake. The spinach and garlic was so good- perfect for garlic lovers. The dollops of ricotta cheese added a bit of sweetness to it. The pepperoni side wasn't overly greasy. If we weren't sharing with non-garlic people, we would just gotten the whole pizza as garlic and spinach. We also enjoyed the caprese salad. Dressing was good but a little much. Should've ordered the dressing on the side. All of what we ordered (1 pizza, basket of fries and onion rings, caprese salad) was enough to satisfy four of us- not stuffed but just right) Toilet situation- 1 stall each so be prepared to wait if the place is busy.
google avatar

Yelp
One the best pizzas to come and try in the downtown area! Finally came here to eat and ordered the Giacomo pizza. It tasted yummy and it came out quickly. I ordered the whole pie and almost finished it by myself leaving one slice left over, straight delicious. Definitely will be coming back.

Yelp
I live 500 yards from J.Dolan's. As a result of this....and beginning in 2011... we're here 3-5 times a month! Derrick, Pierre, Russ, Channel, Kainoa, and Lana are great bartenders and will make you feel welcomed! Jamie, Bubbles and Tasha are always friendly and give you great service. After patronizing this bar for a few years, the regulars became welcoming and entertaining. Every visit is an adventure. We enjoy sitting at the bar as you get to meet interesting and sometimes fun patrons. The left side of bar can accommodate about 10 people. The right side of the bar can seat 8 and is located just inside of the bar entrance. There is a combination of high tops as well as regular tables which can seat 2-15 persons. The star of their menu is the pizza. Some the classics include: white pie, margaritas or spinach & garlic. Signature "pies" include: Giacamo, scampi pie, or the deli meat pie. Don't forget the daily specials pies on the menu board that also lists rotating beers on tap! Pizza by-the-slice ( only cheese & pepperoni) are available as well. You can't beat a cold brew and a piping hot slice of pizza! It does not disappoint! Building your own pizza is also an option with up to 4 toppings. The basket of chicken wings with bleu cheese dipping sauce makes a great addition. Also available are fries, onion rings, calamari, and fish & chips. During the NFL season, it will be filled to near capacity. Also, if there is an event at the Hawaii Theatre, prior to the event and after the event Dolans will be crowded.
google avatar

Jennifer C.

Yelp
Great service. The calamari was very tender. Their salad was tasty. We also ordered one pizza and it was enough for four people already. You can order half of two pizza.

Daryn F.

Yelp
I do believe they have the best pizza on Oahu and for the price it is definitely worth it to me and my family. Staff is very friendly. I like their other location at Kahala better if I'm having dinner with my family and the food and staff are just as friendly.

Lori K.

Yelp
Great little pub vibe! Awesome pizza! Wide variety of beverages. Street parking or paid parking at Mark's garage. Only problem is it is always so crowded.

Yelp
There's probably only ONE other pizza place competitor to J. Dolan's in my mind. But J. Dolan's always takes the crown for me! The Good: * Service -- fast, attentive * Food -- Get the Giacomo and Spinach Garlic Cheese Pizza. Sooooooooo Good. But if I'm dining by myself, I simply get the pepperoni slice. It's a big size and oh so satisfying! It's actually cheaper to get slices than to get an entire pie of pepperoni The Bad: * Gotta be on guard when you walking in downtown getting here. IYKYK! The Weird: * One day, I was determined to get pizza from J. Dolans. And I got there and was like........ WHY IS THERE SO MANY PEOPLE. like.......... SO MANY. This is weird! And they seemed like allllllllllllllll caucasian college boys. I was so confused. I left without my pizza.... and soon realized it was St. Patty's Weekend! Hahahhah I was sooooooo confused. I definitely had the cravings after! Boooo
google avatar

Christina Q.

Yelp
I got half Margherita, half Motto Formaggio. The Margherita was decent: I've had better but I liked how they were generous with the basil. The Motto Formaggio wasn't as good as I hoped. I ordered takeout so the cheese hardened by the time I ate it. I'm sure it would've been more delicious if I ate it at the restaurant then and there. But the flavors for the all-cheese pizza were a bit bland. I really enjoyed the onion rings; I thought they were fried very well and they tasted so yummy with ketchup! The workers there are nice and timely with their pizza orders which made the experience a whole lot better! Overall, pizza is okay, onion rings are good, but service is great! It definitely hits the spot if you're craving pizza late at night.

Yelp
Fast friendly service with awesome smiles. Pizza came out crispy hot thin crust and so yummy! Must come again

Yelp
Best NYC style pizza in Chinatown/Honolulu. Individual pizzas $4 - cheese pull!!! - crunchy, thin pizza - crunchy and chewy crust - well seasoned tomato sauce - perfect cheese to sauce to crust ratio They also have build your own pizza (with spam if that's your jam), salads, and other apps

Yelp
Stopped in for beers and pizza. It was good, not fantastic, but it's across from the Hawaii Theater- very convenient. Our server was rude but we pretended not to notice and were friendly. Maybe she was having a bad day.

Yelp

Yelp
Good pizza. This first time I went here I left because there were so many people here. The second time I was there I got a seat but there was one waitress working every table, so service was a little slow.

Yelp
It's a really good thin crust pizza. My kids love the shrimp scampi pizza. I like the Giacomo...

Yelp
J. Dolan's in Kalala now has outside seating too. I feel still the one of the best places for chicken wings & yumm pizza OMG good to last bite... Awesome bartenders serving up outstandingly delicious cocktails along with great location too. Looking forward to forward to retuning soon!!
google avatar

Yelp
Sounds like a good gathering place for beer lovers food and fun we'll have to try this place sometime soon next time we're nearby to downtown easy to find right across Hawaii Theater but I can see parking being a problem but I'm sure glad to have read some of these reviews are great thanks When we get there soon reviews to follow

Yelp
Conveniently located next to many parking lots, J. Dolans is an awesome spot for some Ono grinds. My friends and I had a day off from work so we went to this gem. We ordered the calamari and onions rings for starters which were nothing short of delicious. We followed with the Giacomo and the Spinach/Garlic pies. The pies came out piping hot and were to die for! The spinach and garlic hit the spot after a few drinks. Our waitress, Brandy, was so awesome! She was so patient with our table and very personable which was so refreshing. I highly recommend checking out J. Dolans if you get the chance. I can't believe I haven't tried this place before, I was truly missing out!

Yelp
This place saved our starving bellies from was sure to be a fast food dinner. We called that 11 PM and asked if the kitchen was still open and if we could order a pizza the guy on the phone said it could be ready in 20 minutes. We drove down there, no issue with parking at night got a boardwalk pizza which was delicious. Wish I had pictures. This place deserves a lot more recognition. They serve an amazing array of Irish delicases, oh and a Chinese chicken salad!
google avatar

Leesha M.

Yelp
I only eat their pizza here never tried anything else or never ate in. Love their pizza because its not oily and has a lot of flavor. I didn't give them a 5star because the parking is a pain. But the pizza is all you need to eat to give it a good rating lolz I mean its that good.
google avatar

Cary P.

Yelp
The best pizza in Hawaii for real I think it's wood fired Good ingredients Fair price, and good price on wines

Yelp
1st time here yesterday after it came highly recommended by 2 locals. Found street parking outside of Native Books. We found a seat toward the back facing the bar to get a view of the whole restaurant Our server greeted us immediately and recommended popular apps and whole pies, to which we ordered. Calarmari was lightly battered, fried and seasoned perfectly. We ordered the Giacomo sans the black olives and subbed with mushrooms. Came out piping hot. The crust, OMG. I am never going to stop talking about the crust. Nice, just enough crisp and chew to every bite. All the ingredients held it's own bite after bite that it made me go for a 2nd piece. We also decided to add some fish and chips because why not? So glad we did because it came with nicely fried and seasoned skinny fried. The fish was perfectly battered and fried. I seriously had no complaints Wow. Love the Irish Pub vibe and food overall. Can't wait to come back again

Yelp
This was the start to our long night of Christmas bar crawl. Always a good idea to carb up. The calamari and the boardwalk pizza was perfect for that. We had 3 people and it was good enough for pupus before the night began. We went at 5:30 but right at 6:00 it started getting crowded. Unfortunately I sat under the ac at the wall across the entrance and was getting spritzed with ac water every few minutes :/ other than that I would def recommend

Yelp
Unlike many pubs in Chinatown, J. Dolan's has a long standing reputation for being the go-to for many who are seeking a place to grab a cold beer on tap and delicious pizza. The bonus? Great customer service abounds from the seasoned servers and bartenders. The establishment is also very well-kept and it is evident that those who serve at J. Dolan's take pride in their place of employment. TIPS: --Last call for food is 11:45pm. You'll never be disappointed with their pizza. --If you choose to park at the Chinatown Municipal underground lot, set a timer because that lot WILL CLOSE by 12am. Note: If you are able to leave your vehicle, picking it up the next day will not break your bank. It was $6 for me =) --There are two, one-stall, restrooms. Be prepared to stand in line when it's bumping.

Yelp
I recently tried J. Dolan's with my wife, sister, and mom for a Sunday brunch. It is located in downtown, so parking is a hit or miss. If you can grab street parking right outside, you're set. Otherwise, there's a nearby parking lot which was $8 for two hours. To start our meal, we ordered the calamari, which is usually our standard choice. It was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The marinara sauce was pretty standard, and served as a nice beginning to our lunch. For the main course, we opted for one pizza with a split topping - half deli meat and half spinach/garlic. The deli meat side was my favorite, a meat lover's dream with an array of flavorful meats. On the other side, the spinach and garlic combination was equally enjoyable. The addition of ricotta cheese was bomb, and definitely proved to be a tasty choice. I've heard they have another location in Kahala, and if the parking situation there is more convenient, I'd opt for that one next time. Regardless of the location, the pizza was awesome, and that's what truly matters!

Yelp
Good simple food. Little pricy for the portions but, good enough to share with my kiddo. Liked the beers on tap, good local options. Service was good for only two servers/bartender. Ambiance was good for a chill dive bar feel. Nice to bring a mature kiddo (not really good for little ones). Music was good and unique, loved the atmosphere overall.
