Really unbelievably amazing food! I'd call it moderate-to-expensive, but it can be moderate if you're not a glutton... My parent Paul lives a few blocks away in St. John's, and I am from Toronto and my husband from Southern California, and on our last night of our recent visit in St. John's, we went out for a casual dinner. BOY were we thrilled with the fantastic food and service. The restaurant has a web site but it is not currently loading here in Florida... so I cannot give you the names of the dishes. I can tell you that the young waitress who initially served us correctly surmised Paul was ordering the "wrong" dish (though I now suspect it, also, would have been lovely) and suggested another... and that was the STAR of the dinner, in my opinion. Everything cooked beautifully, plenty of spice where we wanted it, but never at the expense of flavor. NOT a cheap night out in St. John's terms, but not insane either (if you were a repeat customer you'd know what to order and could get fewer dishes with just as much satisfaction). I loved the eclectic decor and style of dishes and so forth. The place is perfect for dates and intimate groups. If your table is not very into hot spices, just be sure to say so and let the staff help you order accordingly. I loved it and plan to return! If I can get their web site to load and get their email, I may post again with the specific dishes we ordered.

Giving this two stars for great friendly service and the very quiet setting. However, after eating I left feeling angry and ripped off. I ordered a fried noodle vegetable dish with beef. When it arrived, it amounted to a giant plate of noodles with a little (very little) ground beef mixed in and a few vegetables tossed in which was more of a garnish at this point really. At $19, I had expected a really good dish, instead I got a $5 plate of mediocre spaghetti.

The restaurant itself is a mixture of modern and traditional Victorian -- being, as it is, an old Duckworth Street home -- with a relaxed atmosphere. Unsure of what to order, our server guided us to some wonderful selections -- The hot bulgogi (Barbecued marinated beef with vegetable and spicy sauce) was an excellent choice, as was the calamari appetiser. Whether or not it's "authentic Korean," I couldn't say -- It is still one of my favourite restaurants in town.

I'll admit, I don't know much about Korean cusisine, so I couldn't say if this is authentic or not, but I had the bibimpap and seaweed salad, and both were delicious. The server was very professional, efficient, and kind. Great experience!

It's a very wonderful place to eat out. The foods are delicious I've ever tasted before. If you go there you will never be disapointed.

The atmosphere is probably the best part about this place. I had the hot bulgogi or whatver it was called and it was really good but I had a taste of what my family had and I wasnt a huge fan. But thats probably just me
