The hotel is beautiful, and the rooms (or mine at least), though small, are fully equipped with a large bed, living area, bathroom, and mini kitchen. The minibar is fully equipped with snacks and drinks, and offers tea making facilities, and a microwave. WiFi is excellent, both for a hotel, and in general. Air-conditioning is also avaliable in every room. The icing on the cake would have to be the complimentary phone that is provided to guests, which offers unlimited data and calling (both domestic and international). The location of the hotel puts you right at the heart of the city. This is an outstanding hotel which I would recommend to anyone.

Had some high expectations for this hotel with the photos but found the hotel itself to be a bit of a let down. The room i got, which i think was just the basic studio, was very small. The room itself was ok, clean and functional but it's pretty worn out. It definately needs an update. Hotel service though was very good and staff were friendly. Free breakfast was also better than expected with a range of pastries, toast, fruit and juices. Location was great though in causeway bay with Restuarants, convience stores everywhere. Causeway bay MTR station is only a few minutes walk and bus stops are close by. Also near a lot of shopping centres.

I had booked a one week holiday in this hotel this year. Unfortunately due to a serios illness my family was not able to fly to Hong Kong and I kindly asked the hotel team whether we could change our booking to a date one week later and transfer the payment we had already made to that date - the day we had to move my family's flight to. I even went there in person to speak to the reservation team. It was not about paying any fees but we just kindly asked for their understanding - without any success. The staff shortly told me that there is no other possibility of cancellation and paying the full price and did not even offer me the possibility to book a room one week later. I found that this has nothing to do with good customer relationship and service. I would have loved to stay at the hotel since it looked very nice but due to the missing cooperation we decided to chose another hotel.

J Plus is located very close to Time Square which was the primary reason we chose it. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and even had a electric heater which helped as mid December 2013 was quite cold in HK. The wi-fi in the hotel was very good. The staff were helpful and the breakfast provision was adequate. The hotel also provided free coffee, soft drinks and white wine after 6pm which was a bonus.

Avoid this hotel at all cost if you do not want to be accused of problems you did not cause and pay for 4000hkd for a one star hotel. Stayed in this hotel in oct 2014 and couldnt regret more. Had to place a deposit by credit card for 2000hkd when checking in which i was not aware of before booking. After our one night stay the staffs told us our deposit cannot be returned because he could smell cigarette in our room and smoking violates the hotel policy. The staffs there looked like gangsters and was threatening, using hotel policy to argue with eigh us. And they forecefully charged us ankther 600hkd accusing us to have damaged the hair dryer in our room, which was already worn to begin with. As i was a tourist and had to leave the next day i did not know who to turn to. Just reckoned it was bad luck and it totally destroyed our impression of hong kong!

Do not stay at this hotel. We booked for one week and we got kicked out on our fifth day. We checked in as three guests with our passports photocopied and names registered. On our fifth day, one of the registered guest checked out early and went back to his home country. We have two more days remaining and they said since the booking was under one name that we have 30 minutes to leave. My daughter and I were on the street 7:30am with no where to go or stay. Stay away from Eric the front desk person. He tried to force us to pay $2000 HKD for the missing smart phone in the room. Luckily we found it under the pillow. He didn't even give us a chance to look for it. The marketing manager reply on Trip Advisor that only one register guest on record. That is a lie because we each have to provide our passport and the hotel room was prepaid in full + we had to paid additional $600 HKD per night for the extra person. My biggest complain is Eric from the front desk. He is rude. He lies. He has a really bad attitude and most importantly, he did not give us any options. I tried really hard to stay calm and be civilized with him, but he discriminates against Chinese. However, I did witness he treats Westerners much more nicer and friendlier. I will continue share my experience with all my friends and tell them not to stay at this hotel. I will continue post my story to all the hotel review websites.

Studio is small considering its rate. Little dark in room. There is some dust at the edge of room. I found a coin, maybe previous guy like treasure hunting. Kitchen, sofa, facilities and free breakfast are good though

Great location as its easily accessible from Hong Kong Airport. The rooms are extremely stylish and welcoming designed by YOO. You can make free international calls from the useful smartphones in the rooms, although it is for selected countries. It is a busy locale so its recommended to book a higher level room if that concerns you. -- A drop of ink may make a million think. @AyaashPaw (FB + Instagram + Snapchat + Twitter + Zomato)
