JTrain is the BEST gym in NYC! Their equipment is top notch with the newest technology. It is clean and very well maintained. The owner, Joe, is an amazing human being. He cares a lot for his clients and makes you feel at home. The staff take after their leader, especially my personal trainer Quinn who is attentive and cares so much for his clients. I started training with Quinn last August and because of him my lifestyle has changed drastically for the better.

I've been going to J-Train since May 2022, and I've experienced an incredible fitness transformation under the guidance of Quinn (my trainer). J-Train's personalized approach to fitness and top-natch equipment sets it apart from the competition. Quinn is professional, experienced, and knows nutrition. Whether it's crafting a nutrition plan, addressing injuries, fine-tuning workouts, or providing that extra push, he has gone the extra mile to ensure my success. He understands fitness is about feeling your best and living your healthiest life. Joe, the owner, has done an amazing job in curating a remarkable team and in ensuring that the gym is a safe, fun, and welcoming environment. I've always felt at home at J-Train. I highly recommend J-Train and, in particular, Quinn, to anyone looking to take their fitness journey to the next level.

J Train is exceptional in every way and delivers fully on an elevated, personal boutique fitness experience. Joe is an outstanding trainer, person and leader, and he has surrounded himself with a top-notch team through and through. I came in for PT as it was my first experience with sciatica, which was excruciating. Mike saw me and was incredibly knowledgeable. He listened to me and worked with me to figure out what the root cause was, and developed a plan for me based on that. I started feeling some relief day of. On top of being great at what he does, he was incredibly kind, as was the rest of the team. Not to mention, the place itself is very beautiful. Thank you guys!! ♥️

I have been a member since December of 2018. The staff are like family now. I train with Joe, I do yoga with Evan and PT with Kyle and Mike. As a 64 year old I am focused on balance, core, leg strength and overall fitness. I worked with the team and a nutritionist to address my desired fitness and wellness. More recently, after working through a number of injuries unrelated to JTrain my numbers have gotten significantly better through a coordinated program. This is not a typical gym but is an elite team and I highly recommend them.

From the moment you walk in, you know it will be a great experience. The intimate setting, cleanliness, and attention to detail are all great qualities that make this gym a wonderful place to train and Joe Trainer is one of the most hard working, dedicated, devoted and disciplined Trainers I’ve ever encountered. Being a New Yorker born and bread, I have a lot of experience with the 'gym' scene. During the 90's I was training at David Barton and had the pleasure of meeting Joe. We established a friendship and I moved gyms as he relocated. When Joe mentioned he was opening his own studio, my thoughts were, 'what took you so long!' He is not only a friend, but is amazing and very knowledgeable in his field. Because of the intimate setting, I feel like I have a personal trainer at my own work out studio. Not only is it extremely clean, but never intimidating and everyone is always friendly and courteous. In a city where there are so many GYM's, I feel most at home and love working out at Joe Trainer Studio.

Walk past...looks like an art gallery. Enter...sounds like a music studio. Step beyond the curtains...you are in the most intimate and motivating fitness studio in NYC. I've worked out many years in the usual NYC gyms. JTrain is an entirely different experience. Joe and his team's experience, enthusiasm and commitment to clients are unrivaled. Working with Joe, every session begins with "how's your body feeling", followed by unique and challenging exercises, with attention to detail (form, breathing) I have not seen elsewhere. With a regimen including fitness training, yoga, massage therapy, the results have been fantastic...greater strength and flexibility, better posture, no more back pain or injuries. There is an amazing energy and sense of community at JTrain. I consider this the best place in NYC to step up your fitness!

Joe and his team are amazing! I've never been a motivated workout person, but Joe keeps me going and encourages me to get it done. From boxing to interval training to muscle massages!

"Joe" is the perfect name for this man. Similar to a cup of joe, he wakes you up and gets you moving. I am athletically challenged and often embarassed to work out, due to my lack of coordination. Joe made it fun, something I could challenge myself with, and results quickly followed. I moved out of NYC, and would pay to have him cloned and open a gym in California. He is the best at what he does, and can revive your spirit along with your health. If you are looking for a workout that makes you feel good during and after, you found it. His professionalism and enthusiasm will have you hooked, you're a fool not to.
