Here are the key points of my feedback:Room Setting: The view of the room is nice and antique. However, I did not quite understand why the sink were separately located at the corner of the room instead of inside the washroom.Dining Experience: My dining experience at the hotel was satisfactory. If there was hot food available in the morning, it would be much better.Amenities and Facilities: While the hotel's amenities and facilities were functional, I observed signs of wear and tear throughout the property. Investing in the upkeep and modernization of facilities could significantly enhance the overall guest experience.

As others have mentioned this is a rather quirky hotel but we enjoyed our stay. The location is very convenient, breakfast was quite good and our room clean, comfortable and fairly large. The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful and friendly, the breakfast manager was equally as pleasant and attentive. Although there are small elevators this probably isn’t a great choice if you have mobility issues.

Friendly staff. Clean comfortable room. We loved the 1911 lift and used it in preference to the newer lift. Some of the paintwork in the stairway was a bit tired.|We ate all our meals out so can't comment on the food.|We had a lovely stay. We would definitely go there again.

It was a perfect location in central Montreux, The room was so spacious and had a breathtaking view. Bathroom with bath, perfect pressure of water. Extra cost of parking hide in building on the other street (key provided) breakfast possible extra paid. Recommended for a short stay.

This is an old hotel overlooking the lake. Some of it has been renovated and there’s work going on currently. Our room wasn’t renovated and was a bit tired however the room we had gave us a nice view of the lake. Brasserie next door owned by the hotel. Food was good but very expensive

Very good and large hotel rooms. The location is convenient if one is going to use public transport. The receptionist Ms. Jamie was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet could have more options. Overall a good stay at the hotel.

Good location but okayish hotel. Rooms are all old style. No electric kettle in room which is a problem. Facilities are outdated. Staff is not so friendly to foreigners. Location is excellent. 5 min walk to lake promenade and 2 bus stops away from montreux railway station.

Upon entering the hotel, you would be greeted with red carpeted stairs going up to the reception and lobby area. The receptionist was very friendly and offered us the montreux riviera card which gives us discounted access to the different museums, free use transportation. The room was very spacious and has a very beautiful view of the casino, lake and the mountains. It has a very beautiful chandelier. On the wall is a poster of the Montreux jazz festival. The television has a radio option and one of the stations is Swiss Jazz which plays jazz music 24/7. Being a jazzhead, this is a plus for me. The bathroom was clean and the shower area was very spacious. The breakfast has a lot of options to choose from. The place is just a minute away from the bus station and very near the casino and different shops. I highly recommend this hotel when you visit Montreux.
