The room we received was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. We arrived before check-in and requested the best available room; although we initially booked a room with a balcony, the hotel kindly upgraded us to a larger room. Since it was raining, the lack of a balcony wasn’t an issue at all. The hotel staff were friendly, attentive, and extremely helpful. The room was well cleaned, and the staff even thoughtfully folded our clothes that were lying around 🙂. The restaurant staff were equally friendly and accommodating, making meals very enjoyable. The breakfast was good overall, and they could improve a bit on the egg-style breakfasts to make them even better. We would happily stay at J7 Angkor again and highly recommend it for a comfortable and welcoming stay in Siem Reap.

A supremely lovely experience! I came down from my room after my firstnight, and the staff knew my name. They greeted me every time they saw me and provided me with superior service from morning until night. ||Their breakfast buffet is panoramic.||The hotel is located in a beautiful part of the city, abutting a beautiful part, and walking distance from museums, shopping and restaurants.

We have had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Yes, the interior feels a bit outdated and we found the breakfast lacking at times but the staff is absolutely wonderful and friendly. The only downside during our stay was the inconvenience that neither housekeeping, the concierge, nor in-room dining were available to reach via the in-room phone. You would expect either of them to pick up and answer the phone at one point but there was no answer on multiple occasions forcing us to make the trip down to the reception and make the request in-person. This kinda takes away from the in-room convenience. It would have been better if you could reach the reception itself via phone, as it is manned 24/7.

Excellent Wonderful Kind 1st Class facility. The staff are amazing knowledgeable and kind special call out to David and Sok Rotha who makes the best latte. The room was immaculate. The dining area’s are very well equipped with a wide variety of Khmer and Western cuisine, please order the Amok (white boneless fish in coconut). The pool area is very inviting after a full day’s sightseeing. My daughter and myself stayed for 5 nights and we will be back to enjoy the wonderful hospitality offered by this beautiful hotel.

Good hotel but not excellent - we got off to a poor start by being assigned the wrong room vs our booking - that was rectified but then discovered that the “executive” lounge was under renovation and not in operation. I booked directly with the hotel only 3 days prior to my stay and there was no notice about this on the web site, nor was there an explanation at check in of why it was not disclosed and the room type sold as if the lounge was operational. The replacement service was a daily voucher system (had to pick up slips of paper each day) that was available from 2-5 pm only. A far cry from the stated lounge offer of 10am- 9 pm. The rooms were well appointed but the bathroom design was a little strange due to the closet being inside the bathroom door. Breakfast service was generally very good (service and food choice)- although during an early morning rush at 6 am it was clear that the set up was not quite complete and they were not ready (it’s not uncommon in this location to need breakfast at the opening hour). Perhaps it was just an off day? Spa services were excellent and well priced. Do try the traditional Khmer massage - truly fantastic.

Stayed here for a few nights en route to Australia. Location was excellent, near open grass spaces & the Royal Residences which you can cut through during the day. We were fortunate to arrive during Siem Reaps Water Festival & we were so close to all the main activities. The Hotel was clean, good choice at breakfast, great little pool & the staff were lovely, so friendly, welcoming & helpful.

Loved this place! Mr SONI & Hen the maitre D were amazingly helpful … After a few hiccups…they helped cater for my vegetarian needs… the only problem was the executive lounge was shut for redecoration ( chosen as less occupancy but that meant as executive room guests , we were not made aware of that so nowhere to have snacks & drinks but they made up by serving in the main restaurant… just not as cozy or exclusive.Trun ( forgive spelling) made our trip to Angkor wat memorable & was extremely helpful

We had a beautiful and relaxing time at the hotel: my wife and I enjoyed it very much, but it was especially memorable for our son. All the staff members were incredibly kind and attentive, always making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of.|A special mention goes to Mr Sophoum and Mr Tung (sorry for spelling) who went above and beyond to accommodate our wishes and truly made our journey a pleasant and unforgettable one. Their genuine care and dedication made all the difference.|Highly recommended, we will definitely be back!
