This may be toted as just another burger place spot but it is far from your average joint. I had lunch here recently and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The service was friendly and patient as I was greeted upon entry and took my time perusing the menu. The restaurant was very clean and organized, not a lot of stuff on the walls and the bathrooms were in top shape which I appreciated. I ordered the classic double burger, with a side a fries and a cane cola. The burger was delicious! Toppings were fresh and tasty, and it made a mess with the sauces and condiments which is a sign of a great burger. It wasn't overly huge, a good size for my hands and they did get messy as I devoured this scrumptious burger. The Cane Cola was a nice accompaniment to try for the first time but not necessary to enjoy the burger. The fries were golden and crispy and quite a large portion for the price. I just wished the fry lengths were a bit longer as I received a lot of tiny pieces instead of longer potatoes which meant I was scooping them up in my hand to eat them. Not a dealbreaker just an annoyance. The wait for the food wasn't very long, about 5-8 minutes and they brought the order to the table. I really enjoyed the burger and fries making this NOT just another burger spot but MTTBS = Must try this burger spot!

Love jabs. I’ve had the regular burger and their specialty take on the Big Mac. I’ve also tried their fries and banana pudding. The smash burgers are really good, although slightly on the greasy side, not that this has stopped me from going back lol. Have more of a thinner fry, which is nice, but recognizing not everyone is partial to a thinner fry. Banana pudding was delicious. Will add more photos my next time around.

Hands down a great burger and you won’t be disappointed for the flavour and preparation. The cheese fries were good and plenty of cheese. I’m sure they are just as good without the cheese. The burger was delicious and the chicken sandwitch was great. The only issue I had was the bottom bun got soggy so created a bit of a mess while eating but I think I’m asking for a bit extra toast for next visit. Highly recommended enjoy and thank me later.

Finally got to try Jabs Burger, and it did not disappoint! The service was excellent, friendly and quick. The burgers were absolutely amazing, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. I’ve always wanted to check this place out, and I’m glad I did. Bonus points for the strawberry tiramisu, surprisingly great twist on a classic dessert! Highly recommend. Will definitely be back.

Was told these were great burgers only to eat an over salted patty and stale looking thin fries. Cheese fries is plain fries with chieese whiz on the side not mention $8.50 for tasteless fries. I was not impressed and very dissatisfied considering I spent over 50 dollars for 2 burgers and fries, which were honestly mediocre and which I could've made better myself.I ordered through door dash and it arrived cold and while I addressed these concerns, door dash did nothing about it. Won't buy from here again. So disappointing 😞

Pretty flawless burger. What is surprising is you can basically get a very solid representation of 3 style , Smash, thick and chicken and they were all very very good. The cook temperature of the truffle burger was spot on i recommend you get it on the sesame bun. The smash burger was a well executed classic. The chicken was also excellent one of the best chicken burgers in the city. Fries were also fantastic. I have nothing bad to say about this place. I wish their store hours were longer and they were open till at least 10pm. For the moment this place wins the best burger in the city for me and I have tried basically most places.

WOW!! Amazing Smash burgers. Simply Delicious. Heard about JABS through a colleague & thankful as they were fantastic. Fries were excellent too as were the chicken bites. Try their banana pudding for dessert- sweet delight & great finish to meal 💯

Definitely a top 3, if not top burger in Toronto. Had the Oklahoma Double Patty. Meat is juicy, sauce is delicious and potato bun is soft. Fries are perfect. Also had the limited edition Korean fried chicken sandwich which was also good. Banana pudding to end was one of the best I’ve had. Not overly sweet or banana-ey. The cookies inside were perfect. Overall must visit if you’re looking for a good smashburger.

Best. Burger. In. Toronto. Nothing comes close. Extra Burger is cool and Happy Burger is really great but this is the best in town. The only burger I've had that is better is 7th Street Burger in NYC.

The food is excellent. There's no denying that this place deserves its reputation. The caramelized onions and chop sauce and make all the difference, but it's the Berger that really speaks out. The service is very friendly and courteous. It was really nice to see how everybody in the kitchen gets involved with the patrons.

JABS is just FAB!!! So recently I have been in my burger era, simply love trying new places that I have searched up on Yelp. So their menu is basic but they do have salads and few different options on the protein. Well I went with a classic single patty burger topped with Jabs sauce. And a side order of their fries. They do a a few options for the fries as well but I just felt like trying everything basic that day. The patty was cooked well and juicy and I really liked the bun they used. Patty was crisp and juicy that really hit it for me. The flavors were definitely a 8.5/10. Next time I do want to try the JABS fries many people were ordering that. You can refer to their menu for pricing I found the place neither cheap not expensive I mean all these burger joints are pretty standard as far as the pricing goes. I just picked up a to go but there is lots of seating in the place. While waiting I saw a few tables that were empty but dirty. Maybe the can look into that was over all the restaurant was clean. The staff was courteous. Please check for the days they are open I believe they are closed on Mondays. Definitely coming here to try more of their stuff.

Note that the sign says "J.A.B.S." and I believe this is how it's most commonly known as. It's a bit of an ironic name as they really aren't 'just' another burger spot. Rather, they're exceptional and stand out head and shoulders above almost all competetion. Some more irony in that this review isn't based off of a burger per se, but instead I had a limited edition pork 'char siu' sandwich, along with the fact that I tried my friends fried chicken sandwhich. The char siu sandwhich was basically an elevated take on the McRib and it delivered all that an more. The rib meat was such good quality, slow-cooked and seasoned perfectly. Just a shame that it's temporary, though it might return. Though I just had a (large) bite of the fried buffalo chicken sandwhich, again, it's better than almost anything that comes to mind.

It is 100% my mistake to order a cheese burger when I like to have tomato, onion & lettuce on my burger. I just looked at the menu board behind the casher and did not bother to look at the actual menu flyer with what exact contents in their burger. Therefore I was not able to have fair experience with JABS with toppings I liked. Cheese burger comes with extra cheese sauce, onion jam, housemade pickles, jabs sauce served on super pillowy buns. Because cheese burger does not have anything crunchy texture to it( besides pickles) and onion jam, melted cheese, Jabs sauce and even beef patties... whole burger was very very soft. For me I like my burger to have different textures all together, it was not much fun to chew on super soft burger. I should have ordered "Classic burger."

Ordered an Oklahoma burger with double patty and it was divine... juicy, moist and cheesy with grilled onions, perfectly pickled pickles and a soft bun. The patties were grilled nicely and I loved it. The chicken burger was good w the toppings and bun but lacked flavor in its crust and chicken itself. Hope they can make the chicken more flavorful!

This restaurant is known for their smash burgers. JABS stands for Just Another Burger Stop. The husband and wife team started 1.5 years ago in a parents' garage. They would appear at food festivals. On 2022-06-04, they opened their restaurant, and today, 2023-06-04, they celebrated their 1-year anniversary by giving out 100 free cheeseburgers ($8.00 each) and a few JAB-branded tote bags. I was lucky to win one of the tote bags! They were generous by giving out more than 110 burgers so as to not disappoint those in the lineup. The burger had the right amount of sear and juiciness. They top it with a slice of cheese, pickles, onion, sweet pnion jam, and JABS sauce. I tried a bit of the burger and cheese but itself, and the taste was amazing! I also liked the pickles. Highly recommended. My son gave the cheeseburger a 6 out of 5. They also sell salads, handcut fries, and have weekly specials. The staff were so courteous. There is no free WiFi. The restaurant is not wheelchair accessible. There are separate male/female washrooms downstairs. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2023-186

I was keen to try this burger spot after seeing the raving reviews and I was not disappointed. They have weekly specials, which I opted for. A double Oklahoma, with juicy and crispy beef Pattie's, grilled onions, pickles, and their jabs sauce. It was honestly one of the best burgers I've had in Toronto. It's a sloppy mess but the potato bun does a great of soaking up some of those juices from the patty. I had some of my friend's fries, but really the burger is the star of the show. They also have salads on the menu, but I couldn't resist the burger, the moment I stepped into the store. Can't wait to come back and try their chicken sandwich!

Ok burger lovers, this is the second burger review on my quest to find the best in Toronto. Saturday was raining and I found myself home bored so why not go get a burger? Exactly, so naturally I picked the closest to my place which happens to be JABS. Thankfully the rained stopped before I arrived so parking 2 blocks away wasn't an issue. This place has non stop traffic rolling through, and surprisingly an equal amount of people dined in VS take away. A stark contrast to Rosie's last weekend. I ordered a double classic with JABs fries even though the girl said it would be filling. I also ordered a black cranberry drink and then sat down to wait for my order. It wasn't u til I sat down that I saw they had banana pudding. It was on a different menu board behind where you stand to order, kinda odd but ok, I ordered some to go on my way out. The burger and fries came fast, and looked awesome. Being a smash burger there was a flat top taste to the meat which was also tasted with the fries. Not my favourite taste with burgers but not unbearable. The burger held together at first but close to the end the lettuce got in the way and pushed the patty out of the bun. You can see by the pictures that the patty was juicy as there was thankfully something to catch the droppings, I wouldn't recommend eating in the car or on the go. The fries were enjoyable, nice thin cut, crispy but I wished I didn't order them because they weee very filling. I didn't get to the banana pudding until later in the evening, it was sweet and tasty but to be honest no where near Rosie's last week. Will I return? Only time will tell. Im giving it a 3 but I would definitely recommend you try this place, there's a reason it's so popular, it's just not my type of burger.

Best burger I've had in TO. The service is great and staff are friendly. If you are a regular they great you by name. DELISH!

I've never actually been inside but I've ordered in from them countless of times, I have had the burger that's called "the Oklahoma burger" which was delicious. The patties are griddle smashed and so thin and crispy. Their house sauce is great. And I've had the jabs fries a bunch of times. It's like what I imagine shake shack's animal fries are like? My mom has had the spicy chicken sandwich and through her blowing fire out of her mouth (she's a wuss with spice but insists on having it all the time) that this was the best spicy chicken sandwich she'd ever had. So for whatever that's worth! Service is efficient I imagine because my food always arrives quickly and still hot and I have driven past it tons of times and it always looks really nice and clean. Highly recommend!

Wow ! This is burger language at another level. Happiness in every bite !!! Meat, bread, cheese, salad, it complements each other. Absolutely delicious experience.

Arrived around 1pm to find 3 families of 4 already settled in. Definitely a family friendly burger spot. You place your order at the cash register on the right as you enter, you're given your receipt with a ticket number and then you find yourself a table. The wait wasn't long and they deliver right to your table. I ordered the double smash burger with classic filling, side of fries and a root beer. Very tasty! Be prepared for the juices to be dripping so keep napkins close. The only fault would be the lettuce and tomato made the burger slippery, and eventually slipped out. And the fries were not very crispy, but that's my preference when it comes to fries. Overall, the staff were friendly, the place clean and the food yummy. You can't go wrong checking out this spot!

Probably the best of the Smash style burger spots in Toronto I've had. Love the bun they use, since so many Smash burgers tend to disintegrate to. Would absolutely go back. In a city where it seems a Smash burger spot is opening on every other block, Burger Jabs stands out.

I have been passing this spot on my way home for some months now and I finally decided to give it a try. I thought it was only takeout but they actually have seating inside as well. The place is immaculate and very simple. Smells GREAT! the staff was super friendly and helpful. I ordered the fries, which were really yummy, a portion was enough for two of us. the Classic burger, one patty - it was great, exactly what my mother in law wanted. My husband had the Classic burger, add bacon and we ordered the spicy relish on the side, to which he said thank god because it was spicy BUT delish!! I ordered the Classic, 2 patties, the way it is. I love smash burgers and Im SO HAPPY this spot is near us in St. Clair because it was truly amazing. They are doing a great job. The burgers itself are fresh, thin and great flavour. the pickles are made in house, lettuce/tomato/onion FRESH and they you get the sauce that did not disappoint. If you are around or live nearby, give them a try!

This is a perfect smash burger joint. Two or single Pattie's available. Top notch fries that tasted like a great chip truck. Succulent burgers with the crispy edges served on a Martins potato bun. JABS sauce is actually worthwhile - unlike a Big Mac. OKC burger is my order.
