"This is one of the largest distilleries in the world, welcoming more than of 300,000 visitors a year. Luckily, the grounds and visitor center are well-equipped to handle the large volume of people. In order to access the tasting room, you've got to take a tour—the distillery's home, Moore County, is actually dry. Opt for the Angel's Share tour (make a reservation in advance) and the guide will pour you through some of the distilleries' best barrels. The 88 barrel houses that Jack Daniel's operates produce some surprising variations from Old No. 7, its blended whiskey (and the black-label variety with which you likely are familiar)." - Margaret Littman

The history of the distillery is fascinating, and the insights into the production process were truly impressive. The buildings and the grounds are absolutely stunning, with a charming and authentic atmosphere that adds so much to the experience. Visited here on 12-21-24, with my wife and another couple. We had an amazing time at the Distillery and the tour was awesome, full of so much history. Our tour guide Amanda did an excellent job as she escorted us around the property. The new tasting rooms are very nice. Our overall experience was a 10 out of 10!

We had an absolutely amazing time on the Jack Daniels distillery tour, and it was all thanks to our fantastic guide, Anthony! From start to finish, Anthony made the entire experience unforgettable. His deep knowledge of the distillery's history and the whiskey-making process was impressive, but it was his passion and storytelling that really brought everything to life. He answered every question with enthusiasm and kept us entertained with fascinating anecdotes. The distillery itself is incredibly picturesque, nestled in the charming town of Lynchburg, offering stunning views and a true sense of history. Even if you're not a whiskey drinker (or don't drink at all), this tour is a must! The craftsmanship and tradition behind each bottle are worth learning about, and the rich culture and history of Jack Daniels are something everyone can appreciate. Whether you're a fan of whiskey or just looking for a unique and educational experience, make the time to drive out and visit – you won't regret it! Anthony and the entire team make it a day to remember!

Easily accessible using Google Maps, plenty of free parking including for Handicap accessible Vehicles. The facility was clean and well staffed by friendly employees. Restrooms were available and also clean. There is quite a bit to see, there is a fee for the tour, but for the Jack Daniels fan, it's well worth it. The grounds are very nice and there is a pathway and foot bridge to the adjacent shopping area. If you happen to be A Squire, there is also a visitor building with some great collectibles on display as well as some really nice Squire articles for sale. So, a Jack Daniels fan or just interested in seeing one of the premier Distilleries, in my opinion it's a must visit.
