I waited three years for this to happen! Jack finally came to rescue me from my California fast food withdrawal and a couple months later I move to Boston ... wah wah. Unfortunately we are back in a long distance relationship once again, but I made sure to stop in for a visit when I was in town over the weekend.
For a solid go-to menu that covers all the necessary (fast)food groups, I highly recommend the following: tacos, curly fries, eggrolls, mini churros, and a refined refreshment like Fanta Strawberry soda. A little tip from an old pro: mix their hot sauce and ketchup for a much tastier curly fry dip. You''ll thank me later. I don't eat fast food often, but a JBo treat now and again is a must. And before some says, "Oh I would never eat there, didn't someone get sick over a decade ago?" I say if fast food is going to be the reason for my untimely demise I would rather it be quick at Jack in the Box then a slow Super Size Me-style fade out any day.
It is still fast food, so don't sweat the small stuff. Yea sometimes you might have to wait an extra minute, or something might not be in your bag (so check it), but this location has been solid since it opened. The staff is friendly and they take the extra time to walk your food out to you when you are dining in, so you don't have to crowd the line like vultures. They keep the tables clean, the condiments stocked, and it is open 24/7. Win, win, win. The only negative is the location, but more are popping up around the city to chose from!
