This place is advertised open 24 hours. Not true. Lady had the nerve to put a pylon Infront of us and not having the decency to let us order even though we arrived at 11:10 PM. Not going back to Jack in the box. Next time will go to McDonald's.

I had an absolutely terrible experience with Jack in the Box in Kihei. I placed a delivery order and not a single item was correct. We specifically requested no mayo and no ketchup on a Sourdough Jack because my wife has an intolerance to soybean oil in the mayo, yet both were on the sandwich. To top it off, they forgot both the drinks for the kids' meals—a Simply OJ and a Sprite. When I called to request a refund, Lindsey - the manger - was exceedingly rude and ended up hanging up on me. Now, she refuses to answer my calls. This behavior and her tone were completely unacceptable. This kind of service is disgraceful, and I will not be ordering from this location again.

24 hours is false advertising. We have tried to get food here three or four times in the evening due to busy work schedules and they block off their own drive through with cones every time. You can see the workers inside, they just don’t want to work I guess? Not sure who agreed to pay these people to do no work

I asked for a mocha creamaccino. What I got was obviously not that. I stood in line for 10 mns to tell them and the gal at the counter held it up to who I think was the manager. She rudely said she will have to wait. Ten minutes later we asked where it was and lady said some problem with the machine. So instead of telling me right away or refunding my money she gave my vanilla slop with some chocolate syrup. It was a mess. Do not go here! They are slow and have attitude plus this is downright unacceptable especially it costing over $5!

Worst customer service I've experienced in quite some time. We waited at the counter for 15 minutes while watching the employee hand out orders and put food in bags and not one time did she acknowledge us, even as the line behind us got longer. She handled food then finally took our order, overcharged us, then took our money before returning to handle more food. Sanitary? When we finally got our very simple 2 tacos and water, we noticed another couple who were seated and waiting for their food, which they had ordered before we even came in. The place was dirty, they were busy, so we couldn't ask them to unlock the restroom, which they keep locked. The tacos were delicious and inexpensive. I guess it's not fine dining and brain cells let alone common sense is not a job requirement.

Came by after the evening rush hour. Wait time was reasonable. The wrap was truly wrapped in a lined foil. Kept the food warm and formed. So much better than the one in Kahului! Can this manager be moved to Kahului??

I thought it was pretty cool Maui's JBX had a loco Moco burger. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype. The weird part was that it didn't have a burger patty in it. Were we missing something? It was pretty busy and the workers were hustling but I think they forgot the burger patty. Can I get a refund please? This was pretty expensive! Ambiance - typical fast food drive thru

My friend dropped me off in Kihei since I wanted to hang out here for the afternoon before heading back to Paia for the night. What was a simple order for a medium ice tea from the mobile app turned into a full blown snack attack & dinner for me here at Jack in the Box - Kihei branch. I arrived here around 1:15pm after lunch in a Ma'alea Harbor area restaurant. The restaurant itself was empty when I entered before a local Family strolled in as well. They were a little loud but I kept to myself. Mobile ordered a medium ice tea while I contemplated what to do with my afternoon in Kihei. What happened was kind of funny. Ended up dozing off for an hour before waking up. Still had the family being loud sitting in the middle of the restaurant. It was around 3:30pm then, so I decided on what to do for dinner. I was already here at Jack in the Box in Kihei, so I just mobile ordered again what I wanted for dinner. I waited for my order to complete, picked it up, and hung out in the restaurant to wait for the next Bus to the Queen K center out of Kihei, then left Jack In the Box with my order. I was glad that they didn't see me or told me to leave when I was sleeping. Thankful for that really. I guess if I wasn't bothering anyone, I was okay either way with what I was doing. It was cool that they are OK with that. I ended up leaving this Jack in the Box after 5 PM headed towards Paia on the Maui Bus. The overall experience here at this Jack in the Box in Kihei Maui was good and quiet. The restaurant itself was large enough to be quite accommodating for anyone and everyone who does in person dining. The service was good and friendly, more so because of the mobile ordering aspect. It was nice that everything was quiet and it smells of french fries cooking was also beautiful as well. For the most part though, my experience was fairly good and definitely nice to be in this restaurant because there is also a self-serve drink fountain, which you can refill as much times as you want before they start lecturing you about too much refills. Maybe not, but you can refill more than once in the same dining experience. And so, if you find yourself craving fast food in the heart of Kihei, Maui, you might as well come here because it has curly fries. Definitely the fries is well worth come here. Jack-in-the-Box restaurant is always alternative to traditional fast food because they just are. They are known for their cheap tacos and curly fries. Definitely recommended. This Jack-in-the-Box restaurant location is physically located at 1301 S. Kihei Road in Kihei on the island of Maui. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. They also have mobile ordering, which is awesome because you can order ahead of time and just pick up at the restaurant, which is always a godsend in so many ways. As far as parking goes, they have a small parking lot for anybody and everybody to park and dine in or pick up and go. Not sure if you can use the mobile app and drive-through also, but that can also be a thing too. Mayfair like me, the Maui bus comes through the area and stops near or at this location. You may wanna double check to make sure that your route to and from the area makes sense. And also, there is also Uber or Lyft, if you need their services in South Maui. With that said, best believe that the best fast food burger is here at Jack-in-the-Box. And also the best deals, download the mobile app. Have those deals there. 5.0 stars for the overall experience Support local! A+

Went through drive thru and order ultimate cheeseburger and extra house dressing, got home to Pukalani and open my sandwich which was not an ultimate. They gave me a burger with grilled onions and pickles. I hate pickles and no house dressing. Called for the manager and they passed the phone to Mia "that's the name she used" and told her what happened and that I was upset she told me "I don't appreciate your attitude " are you kidding me!! You screwed up my order and I'm giving you attitude! Then she said come back down, I told her I was in Pukalani! Again said I don't like your attitude wasn't even apologetic. Who's running this place that allows for them to talk to customers this way!

This is by far the best Jack in the box on the island. We will only come here. Manager is super friendly and greeted us right away. Restaurant is always clean , and food is always hot a fresh. This is the only jack In the box we come too.

Always enjoy the excellent Spam Platter! However, just cannot logon to the Jack in the Box guest wifi system, as the image of Jack seems to be obscuring the login information. Jack in the Box corp IT nerds need to fix this!

This location appears to only be drive through. There may have been a sign, but we didn't see it and tried to go inside and the doors were locked. So we got in our care and was going to leave then saw cards in the drive thru lane so we entered it. (Loc appeared to be drive thru only the next evening, too when we drove by.) We are locals from Oahu, so we ordered the local style breakfasts. You can choose Spam (it's a Hawaii thing), or Portuguese sausage (slightly spiced sausage that's another Hawaii thing) or a combo of both. IYKYK. We had to wait maybe two minutes for the car in front to get their food. Girl at the window was polite enough. We asked for soy sauce (assuming catsup packets would be in the bags) and she said she already out them in. Would have been great service, but there were no catsup packets. even though one was a meal that came with hash browns. Food was hot and fresh (we only drove 5 minutes to get back to our condo). Rice was well made (matters if you are from Hawaii!) Five stars for food, three stars for service, one star for not having a sign that was easy to see saying the location was drive through only (if there was one).

Update Feb 22 They are open for take out. But no greeting , made to wait and repeat hello when I can see 3 people. The things I do To get a Jack taco. Two more stars for being open to walk ins. Dining closed Bathrooms only for employees Blocked off , no hand washing

As others noted, they close early and hours are random. Try Taco Bell instead down the street. This "Jack B." business manager person you see in all these responses apparently does nothing.

How can you tell that you're at the Jack in the Box in Kihei? It's easy! You'll notice this lovely abandoned car that's been sitting in their parking lot for months on end.

The hours are inaccurate! Plenty of occasions I have visited after my night shift and have cone up to a closed Jack in the box before 1am! Why do the store hours online not properly represent real life? With Jack in the box being the only late night fast food, I have always counted on them to be a meal after my evening shift when nothing else is available.

I have a 1 star but it SHOULD be a ZERO. Do not come here the customer service was TERRIBLE. Whoever the lady is working at the widow needs some lessons on customer service and just MANNERS. I don't know how this place is still in business and the manager seems not to care at all which is just as pathetic. So no don't come here AT ALL. Go to Taco Bell.

The worker called me a bitch when i tried to get a chicken tender meal with some fries for my son.

It is not 24hr. The best you can get is 11pm. The drive through person puts down what you order correctly because its on the screen, but whoever is making the oder doesn't always gets it right. Food is good tho.

This location is good...when its open. When open, the servers are nice, quick and accommodating. However, I have been here a few time late at night when either they are closed or the grill is down. I would go back but they have a few things to work on.

I came to get my husband a double Jack with no onion no pickle with a large fry. Very simple Longest time I have EVER waited in the drive thru line . Every single car waited at window for over 10 minutes. I clocked it. From time I ordered at speaker to window it took me 40 minutes. When I finally get to the window to get my husbands food, the lady at window doesn't even acknowledge me for 8 minutes. There is a man at speaker making a commotion about a order he placed online last night and both the lady at window and the lady at counter both are dealing with him. When the lady at window finally pays attention to me after I have been calling her to get my food she had at window. I give her my money and she takes a additional 3 minutes to give me back exactly 6 dollars with no receipt. I drive home, my husband gets his food out of bag and it's a sourdough Jack not what I ordered for him. To boot it was really cold and looked disgusting. Who is running this place? In the restaurant industry, customer service is suppose to be what makes people come back along with the food. I entered the line at 7:45 pm on 4/20/23, got to speaker at 7:46 and sat for 10 min with 4 cars in front of me. Each car took from 7 to 10 min at window to get food. I was there 13 min at window. I have tried calling for the past 20 minutes, someone answered once but hung up on me . Now the phone just rings. I have no receipt, I wasn't given one even though I asked for it. So how am I supposed to get compensated for a meal that wasn't worth eating, cold and not what was ordered

This is a great location! As of the end of May beginning we of June 2023 they have replaced the speaker box for the drive through. You can hear really clearly and they can understand you easily now. Also every night the line for the drive through has been super long, but the team is still killing it! They are doing such a fantastic job I have been so genuinely impressed. I went last night and even though the line was long it moved fairly quickly the the lady was super positive and polite! I've really liked the 50/50 popcorn chicken, it's super tasty. I also really like that Jack in the box is open the latest and they have a variety on their menu. 11/10!

Went here twice in the last two days, they were closed both times. Sign and online says drive thru 24 hrs, but clearly that isn't accurate.

Ignore customers. Extremely slow service. Get orders wrong. Recommend going someplace else.

I wish I could give 0 stars. This was the absolute worst experience ever. We waited over an hour in the drive thru line to and ordered certain food only to be told after we arrived at the window and paid that they didn't have that certain food when the worker there confirmed 3 times that they had that when we ordered. The food was also wrong when we finally got it after an hour and we had to wait for them to remake it for another 15 minutes. Some of the food was also cold and not fresh by the time we got it. The workers could barely understand what we were asking, causing us to be overcharged over $30. Will never be eating here again

I am one of the laziest people to have ever lived, so I feel fully qualified to say that after waiting an HOUR AND A HALF for food that I am the perfect candidate to be employed at this Jack in the Box location.

My first time using the app for order JIB at 700pm in Kihei. I left my home in Kihei and arrived at 710 pm unfortunately there was at least 10 cars ahead of me hence waited for 59 minutes to pick up my order since they lock the front doors. It is so ridiculous to order your food and pick up cold food. This totally upsetting. If they are not able to pick the order close the app site.

Restaurant is closed for renovations (and ugly as hell) but the drive thru is OPEN, and fast!

Sorry Jack this morning 3:15 A.M. I strayed. I saw lights at McDonald's. I ....fell to temptation. The grass in not greener. in fact it was cold, limp and yucky. Never again will I not get, my early A.M. morning burger, fries of course the MONSTER TACO from you.

We are from the mainland so we have been highly anticipating our visit to Maui so that we can have their Macadamia Nut coffee, fried rice and sausage breakfast. We received exactly what we were looking for. The coffee was tasty. The fried rice with spam was delicious. The place was relatively clean inside and out. The workers were mostly Filipinos with thick accents that was sometime hard to understand. However, they were friendly and helpful. Mahalo!

DONT COME HERE. I personally love Jack In The Box, but the customer service from coworkers here SUCKS. CLARISSA, the person who took our order had attitude. For what? Who knows. All we ordered was 2 meals through drive thru. We were the only ones in drive thru at the time and it was slow inside. When we drove to the window to pay, she told us what we owe with attitude, no smile. We gave her the money to pay, then she disappeared? We were waiting for awhile JUST to get back our change. She came back after awhile speaking to one of her coworkers in Micronesian, then she finally went on the cash register to give us our change back. We got our drinks first, then another long wait for the food. A long line started to form behind us. That's how long she took. But here's the concerning part. We finally got home and took out the food to eat. We took out the curly fries we got from the meal and there was TRASH inside. Yea, people will say "it's just straw wrapper trash", but do you know where that came from?? What if it came from the trash? It had stains on it. That shouldn't even be in anyone's food. I know for a fact it's not ours because I remember I rolled up the straw trash in a ball and left it my cup holder. My trash was still in the cup holder! Soooo gross. Don't know if Clarissa was the one who did that nasty thing, or if it was one of her coworkers.

Best fast food restaurant, sandwiches always with fresh crisp lettuce, I love their ranch and spicy chicken sandwiches.

Since the last and now, the store manager who ran such a good store has left. Currently the new manager is coming to grips with trying to keep up a good level of customer service while experancing a change over in staff. When the old manager left so did a lot of the staff. The new staff are not well trained and have problems speaking English. This is very frustrating to customers. The store air conditioning has been broken down for over a week. Cleanliness of the store is starting to suffer. Overall management needs to support this manager with better staffing, better training, and better wages. The only way this store turns around is if upper management, district manager and above, take a real interest in the business. They lost an outstanding manager in Linda. The new one is not up to her level, but is trying to do her best. Better support from higher up will help her. Otherwise I would not recommend this place as a place to stop at. First things first...fix the A/C so we can eat in the place.

Natural chicken sandwich was great. Fresh ingredients, bun fresh and soft. Will be stopping again soon. I'm looking to try some fries with chicken and cheese.

I love jack in the box back home, so I thought why not go here. I order 4 tacos as I usually do, and when I get back home to eat them ants started crawling out. I threw it out right away, honestly kinda ruined my appetite and jack in the box for me in general. Super dissatisfied

I went here for the first time the other day. The food was great, the staff wasn't so great. They were a little rude, and took forever to even take my order. There was no one else in line either. But overall I would say the experience was 3 stars. It's also kind of pricey for fast food.

Ok I've read the negative post. For a quick early breakfast before heading out to the Hana rd or to the top of volcano to watch the sunrise it's perfect. We stopped in 3 different times once a 7:00am to grab a drink a bathroom break. It had the cleanest bathrooms in Kihei or any part of Maui that wasn't a resort. The other times were 5:30 & 3:30am the drive-thru was open and the workers were super nice food was good.

It seems funny to leave a review for jack in the box, but I was very impressed with the cashier. Her name is Lori and she was very friendly, accommodating, and got our complicated order to us perfectly!

It's just a fast food join right? Yea, well, the food was ok. The service though, that's why I'm writing this review, just wow! I went in for dinning, It seems like the employees here not only hate their job but hate their life too! No smile, no Hi, no Aloha. Our food was ready and we were never notified, we had to assume it was ours. No utensils with my plate. We also had to sweat while we ate, AC broke? Who knows.

Normally I don't leave a review on a fast food place because after all, it is just fast food and you shouldn't expect much. I personally didn't have an issue with my food or service but I witnessed unprofessional issues with the employees while dining. A customer who came in to order after me was ignored for several minutes. Then one of the female workers said she would be with him shortly. After 5 minutes and she never came back he got upset and just left. The place was not that busy and I was only one of two customers inside the restaurant that morning. They seem more focused on the drive thru than the front counter. While I was eating in the dining room, I could hear the workers, all female, yelling and arguing with each other and using profanity. They were also complaining about customers in the drive thru line and using profanity. The franchise owner and Store Manager is obviously not paying much attention to the operation of this restaurant or worse, is tolerant of the behavior. The staff is not happy to work there and their behavior is very unprofessional. I would not tolerate this if I was in charge. The closer on the front door is also broken and it slams shut. Spend a little money and get it fixed Mr. or Ms. Owner. Fix your employees first please!

The worst jack in the box I've ever had in my life. Out of sourdough, burger tasted old, curly fries were stale, taco had the smallest amount of OLD lettuce stuffed inside. Did not pack us any ketchup, taco sauce, or napkins. Came back to Kihue from a long night of drinking and it still tasted nasty. I couldn't believe how bad it was. For being the only jack in the box I saw, I figured they would be on their game. I worked for jack in the box as my first job and we always made it to order. I don't know what was going on with this one. We came about 11pm last Tuesday. What a disappointment! Step your game up guys!

Stick to what you know.... Like McDonalds, Burger King, Taco Bell, Wendy's, Denny's.... etc... I tried to warn my husband not to stop here but he insisted. The food TASTES great, but trust me, it doesn't matter what you order on the menu... you'll pay for it later. So a good word of advice would be, "Don't get it to go and then try to make your way to Hana!" lmao My husband paid for it ALL the way to Hana... and there aren't very many rest stops on the way to Hana. =) We had a good laugh about it later though. **STICK TO WHAT YOU KNOW**

Spam Jr. Teriyaki Burger? I gotta admit, I was raised on Spam so I was sort of tempted because we definitely don't have that on the mainland. I passed. We went in here because my grandmother needed to use the restroom. However, it was only for customers so I had to go back and get my wallet. I ordered an Oreo Shake ($3.99) and I should have made my grandmother use the Filipino card with the cashier because she really helped getting the key and letting her and my father into the restroom. Oh well, I enjoyed the shake. I haven't had one in 4 months.

If I could give this place a 0/5 I would; This Jack in the Box location is a nightmare, if you're used to this chain from the mainland, this is garbage in comparison, if you're local and expect decent fast food service, it is garbage in comparison to other fast food locations on island. There were two cars ahead of me in the drive through, and the wait to be served was about 15-20 minutes which is just laughable as far as 'fast food' goes. Went here the other day, ordered the 7 piece jalapeno appetizer, and 5 OF THE 7 PIECES did not contain a jalapeno pepper, so I got 2 jalapeno starters and 5 disgusting pieces of poorly fried cheese (yuck), I also ordered a bacon cheeseburger, and the burger did not contain bacon or cheese (or condiments which were advertised as well) got a dry hamburger for about double the price, what a joke. This place in an absolute joke, if Jack in the Box gives a solitary s*** about their company brand they should fire everyone in charge of 'cooking' at this location and just start over. Embarrassing. If you care about faster service and higher quality of food, just go to McDonalds a quarter mile down the street and get something decent at least.

One star is too much for this. I've never had such a bad experience in my life. I saw the bad reviews beforehand and didn't think twice of it because how can they mess up jack in the box, but I was wrong. DO NOT GO HERE! When I went, they only had three options (all chicken). Their chicken and bread tasted like plastic. Honestly, that might be an insult to plastic. We just wasted our money here and had to go somewhere else because the food literally wasn't edible. Worst experience ever.

I enjoy my quick dash through the take out window, usually? This morning I was very sadden by the customer service and the lack of attention to my order and send off. Noticed it was not my usual service people. Today is Friday, December 22, 2017. Order was wrong and the attention was blah; she hurried me off without allowing me to finish my question. What a morning; I needed to get this off my chest and not take this feeling through the day. "exhale". Hope it gets better after they review this post?

Food is average here. Maybe a bit better than average on a good day. I guess between this place and McDonald's next door I'd come here, but the access/parking is bad and has a very cramped feel to it. Loud b/c it's right next to South Kihei Road. It's worth a try, at least.

Man, the people (girls, mostly [since those are the ones that work the drive-through at night mostly]) that work here are amazing. They get my order correct every single time and I don't ever see any saliva in it. The one thing that really sucks is that (I've been told this is the owner's fault [since this is a franchise]) when you buy something and don't want a soft-drink, you are forced to then spend two-dollars more on something that you don't want. Can't I just get my artery-clogging food without the expedited embolism this time?? I'm tryin' to pay rent, brah! I can order a Munchie Meal according to the rules and pay $5.xx if I don't want a drink, yet you won't allow that and you make your employees force the people to pay just about $2 more to get one. I don't want more calories when I'm gonna gorge myself on about 2k. Why should I pay $2 more for something I don't want?? I love the Munchie Meal. I think it's the greatest thing ever. Everyone needs one. Maybe if you advertised it at the price it is without a drink and then up-selled for one, you would make out? Either way, there are great employees here who do a great job and I can't complain about that. The owner needs to fix some stuff, however.
