I came for dinner with my husband, even if we didn’t have the opportunity to sit in the terrace, we were seated inside with an amazing view! The food was great you taste the quality of the ingredients… and service, the service was 10/10 everyone was nice!. Definitely recommend.

Really loved the vibe, food and drinks. I came here as a backpacker. Very easy going place although it might look fancy from the outside. Affordable prices. Same as UK! I highly recommend!

A glass of Ruinart and a freshly made and very tasty Croq started my day in the best possible way. Efficient, warm and friendly staff, cool ambience- what's not to like?

Tim was our server and suggested the amazing food we had at the terrace overlooking the Grande Plage. Had thr "filet de bar, croquettes, burrata & white wine."

It's not immediately clear how to get in; the entrance seems to be downwards. But inside, there's a lovely balcony with a view of the sea. The food is very tasty, with large portions. We were delighted. It's the perfect place for lunch or a drink. Highly recommended.

Absolutely awful experience. The service at this restaurant is beyond unacceptable — rude, arrogant, and unprofessional. The staff spoke in an incredibly disrespectful manner, both to us and shockingly, even to our children. Our kids, aged 10–12, were quietly playing near our table when one of the waitresses approached them aggressively and told them to “stop making a mess” and to “clean up after themselves.” When the children tried to explain that they hadn’t done anything wrong, she snapped back at them and said, “Don’t lie.” Excuse me? Who gives a waitress the right to speak to someone else’s children like that? Who do you think you are? On top of this appalling behavior, the restaurant serves bottled water — except it’s clearly just tap water poured into bottles and sold at full price. We also ordered an expensive bottle of wine from the menu, and what we were served was clearly a cheap, boxed house wine poured into a carafe. Disgraceful. This place is a scam with the worst attitude I’ve ever encountered in hospitality. Absolutely do not recommend. Avoid at all costs.

Jack the Cockerel is a must stop when in Biarritz! Thank you to Benoit and the team for helping me to organize a beautiful event for the night before my wedding in Biarritz. From the view to the food and drinks to the staff, everything was amazing. You must visit this fabulous spot when you come to town and enjoy the view and all it has to offer. We will always enjoy coming back!

Went here for lunch - the decor is great and the view is absolutely fantastic. You can sit outside overlooking the ocean from above. Food was just okay (not bad but just missing some spices/refinement here and there), and the cocktails were really nice. The view though makes it absolutely worth going to. Prompt service and friendly staff who speak great english.
