The courts have been redone very nicely. However, there appears to outside influences that are controlling the courts even though this is a NYC parks venue!!

The courts have been recently resurfaced and are in great shape, because of this they are pretty popular now and you should expect a wait on weekends. Nice neighborhood, highly recommend!

It is, wish they did the same with the rest of the park. They did the tennis court and the basketball court, but not the workout area and kids play areas.

Very good ,👍tennis playground but what i forgot to mention is the area is in need of serious development , there is no resturants in the area like, burger king or ,shake shack or dunkin donuts establishments .Parking is poor , No benches or coffee houses to sit outside just reminder of decaying buildings and streets that are in need of repair. it sad to see cause there is an A and C train station along with a bus terminals that am sure if the area gets better developed would be a very good up graded, for those to live there or vist .like i said the area needs development before it can get 5 stars from me there needs to be some big changes to chauncy st .

My old neighborhood I used to live on Bainbridge Street and I would go to this park every day...to do my workout routine or just hang out and play my music hopefully I can comeback and take advantage of the park

Decent courts, used the walls and they're fine but a little low and the ground isn't a smooth pavement so if you're looking for a more "proper" experience the walls at Lincoln Terrace Park are better

It's nice but dangerous if you cross the boulevard you going to run into some punks watch yourself

Yelp
A scam of a "business". Used a free shitty public court. The instructor did not show up. absolutely no cancellation announcement. What a scam. Never book lessons with them.

Yelp
Booked via class pass. Got to the location at 7am in 40degree weather excited & ready for the class. The instructor was not there. Called the business number, the mailbox was full. Never received an email notification that the class had been canceled. Emailed the company. Waited 15 minutes. Contacted class pass to inform them. Mistakes happen but I was disappointed that I was never contacted back; no one replied to my email.

Yelp
I've taken beginner adult tennis lessons at a few places and this is the best, by far. Coach Frances clearly teaches the sport, not just the strokes. There's also a real sense of community with events, connections to other players to come practice, and a whole host of programs for the community from beginner kids all the way through competitive juniors and adults. I'm definitely looking forward to being a regular all summer.
