Old-style small town cafe where the meals are inexpensive and tasty and your iced tea is always refilled. Friendly staff and locals all seemed to know each other. Need to visit small towns with no fast food joints to experience these places now -- while there are still a few around.

After watching the T-Rex museum, we stopped Jack's Cafe Eastend for lunch. We were 17 people visiting from Regina. We ordered 6 large pizzas. The pizzas were freshly made and delicious. The staff was friendly. Ambience was nice, clean, and elegant. Highly recommended for anyone who is in the town.

Was driving through this small town as I love to do while on the road. Decided to stop and try the small town restaurant. It is your typical small town restaurant. I ordered the clubhouse and it was really good. It had a nice meat to bread ratio 😁 te fires were good as well. The young gentleman khow served me was great and he kept the cup filled and was right behind anyone who left cleaning the table. Another small town gem.

Yelp
So, I wasn't expecting too much from this hole in the wall, but it was great! Inside the building had a lot of small town charm with a huge mural depicting the town through the changes in time. The servers were quick and friendly. Menu was super interesting....some usual home town café things (burgers, Chinese food, pizza). I decided on the Turkish spinach style pizza (called pide), my kiddo tried the chicken masala, my little one noodles with tomato sauce, and my husband the special which was halibut and shrimp scampi. Everything came in a timely manner (considering they were backlogged) and everything was delicious. I often grade restaurants on the kids menu. Often it is just quick instant slop that is thrown on a plate. I like it when restaurants make the food healthy and delicious but palatable for little ones. I could have eaten this pasta. It was flavourful and lovely and plated well. My pide was delicious and huge. My husband's dish had a nice spicy flavour that none of us were expecting. The best dish though, was the chicken masala. It was delicious. Amazing sauce to the chicken. If they could do this in a tofu or veggie dish that would be my go to. I felt the prices were a little high for small town Saskatchewan but definitely worth it. Check it out if you are in the area.

Yelp
Lunch was simply divine! We had homemade potato leek soup, ginger beef and broccoli, and homemade blueberry pie. It was evident to me that the chef takes great pride in their cooking and in the cleanliness of their restaurant. The servers, related to the chef, were also delightfully polite and helpful. Ask them what they recommend. Too bad I'm just passing through town or I'd eat here frequently. Prices are very fair.

Yelp
In business for almost a century, this restaurant has recently come under new ownership, and they're doing a great job!
