Jacks Pizza

We always enjoy a trip to jacks when we're in town, this time was no exception. The Italian hoagies, steak sandwiches and pizza are all delicious.

We have been ordering from Jack's for many years now. Majority of the time it is to go. The food is always delicious and hot. We have never had an order with any errors or even had to wait for too long. The amount of food for each order is enough to be two meals for us. Friendly atmosphere and employees.

I have been coming here for over 20 years and is still just as great now as it was when I first had a buffalo chicken pizza. I moved away for 15 years and when I moved back to the area I was nervous to have Jacks again to see if it was as good as I remembered and well it was! Now we get it at least once a month! Highly recommend pretty much everything on the menu!

Highly recommend the Shrimp Cobb Salad - the second time I ordered… consistently fresh.. delicious flavors - all great ingredients - really nice salad and Jacks pizza is fantastic! I echo the review about the cleanliness of restaurant and the staff are really nice! Go to Jacks!

The soups, as always, were delicious and are even better with the Garlic knots. One thing they also typically do well is fried calamari. However, tonight they were very disappointing. They appeared old, dry, maybe uncooked, and very cold.

Good food. The guys behind the counter are so nice & friendly. Never had a bad meal, pizza always has plenty of sauce. All in all, a good place to grab a bite.

Pizza severely undercooked chewy and gummy. Cheese and sauce just not good. Dont wanna be mean but it was the worst pizza I have ever had. Gota step your game up when there is top tier pizza down the street

We've been to Jack's many times over the past 10 years. It has a large, varied menu, good and reasonably fast service, and good food. They still do the best taco pizza around.

This is my first time to come here Coatesville. We ordered pizza, subs , philicheeese steak and salad. I dont eat meat and I was really surprise that they have vegetarian pizza with brocolli on top... Im from LA and they never served pizza like this! Out of 5 stars I would say 4 stars for the flavors because it need more cheese to make it a little salty... Anyways I still love it! They served freshly hot. The place was nice and clean.

Cozy atmosphere, friendly employees . I highly recommend the Buffalo chicken pizza. But they do have a great selection!

Friendly owner, Milton, there is no Jack. Food is almost always tasty. I am a regular. I do not like the credit card service charge.

I usually don't mind this place but truthfully this place fucking blows The pizza wasn't even cut ,we got extra cheese when it wasn't asked, we asked for blue cheese got ranch, the marinara was flipped in the bag ... Just lazy bs especially for the price of the shitty food

Jacks Pizza is my go-to place for pizza and simple Italian cuisine. The staff is great, the owner is very friendly, and their prices are quite reasonable. There isn't much to be said for ambiance. This is basically a take-out restaurant which does provide a few small tables for the individual who wishes to eat in, which I have done on a couple of occasions. Their food is always delicious, and they provide a salad with each order.

Consistent, consistent, consistent. Great selection of appies, pizzas and main course choices. Awesome neighborhood pizza joint.

I had a slice of pizza with everything and it was quality ingredients. 2nd time i've been there and it was good. It was hot fresh and no grease dripping. I would go back and highly recommend them.

Great selection of food and the quality is outstanding. Also tasty. The parking lot is always full. The downside is it's very close to busy intersection and hard at times to pull out onto the highway. But again food is great and friendly staff

I'm happy to say I finally got to have there food. Coatesville is my summer home and I've been wanting to have some of there food. I order the Sicilian cheese pizza and let me say from the crust to the sauce and the cheese it was perfect. I forgot to take a picture but I'll be back this week. This was the worst salad I've ever gotten from them just horrible ...lettuce is old and it ain't even the right kind of lettuce you put in a Greek salad I'm highly disappointed and pissed off at the same time y'all charge all this money for this sloppy shit never again will y'all get my money EVER And if I could I'd give this place a negative star or none at all

The customer service is not the greatest. The pizza is good, but it's overpriced. I recommend trying other pizza places in Downingtown before going to Jacks. Footnote: the only reason why I am giving it three stars only because of the pizza!

Dependable quality and taste from Jack's. Orders have never been wrong; we always get what we ordered. A little expensive, but everywhere is right now. I especially like their seafood chowders!

If I was grading on quality of the food alone I would give it 3 stars. It wasn't great but it was okay and I'd try some more of their pizzas, buuut it was $20.25 for a medium pizza, so you're charging West Chester/Malvern/KOP prices for an okay pie. At that price point I'll be skipping out on this place. If you're close and don't want to drive, or want to stop in to pick up some single slices, I can recommend them, but if you need to drive 7+ minutes then I can't really say its worth it for me.

We decided to give this place a 2nd try. Honestly, we still don't care for it. The pizza is eatable but it lacks something. This place is also very expensive. For the price I paid for food I would expect the pizza to taste amazing. We won't be going back. Go to Lione's Pizza instead. It's slight cheaper and the pizza there has far more flavor.

Food is good but REALLY disappointed that ALL employees were maskless - meaning that they're talking, laughing, communicating and spewing all over my food AND Yours!

Best pizza and wings we have found in the area by far - wish they had delivery, but it's a quick drive and no wait to pick up on pizza night!

Wandered in kind of on a whim. The place didn't seem busy at first, but as I sat with my food, I realized that this is clearly a local favorite. Many of the guests that came in were greeted like they were friends. The pizza was good, I would have preferred a little more sauce, but that's just a personal preference. I see why people like this local place, and if I were local, I'm sure I'd be back soon.

Thought we would give a new pizza place a try and after eating my fiancé and I both did not feel good. Workers at register had 3 girls just standing there emotionless and not that friendly. Got home and the pizza was plain tasting and fries were cooked to long and not much potato inside of them. Will not be going back or recommending to anyone after how we felt after eating.

Got takeout today. Good pizza, a little thicker crust than some, but tasty! Good cheesesteak also. Nice guys and very efficient.

This place has great pizza. They have to-go slices with all kinds of topping. I love their taco pizza and their seafood pizza it's amazing! My other favorite food item is their famous seafood chowder with chunks of shrimp and crab. Friendly staff as well.

Consistent, perfect food since we started coming in back in 2002. The staff is friendly and remembers their regulars with a happy smile and greeting every time you come in. The owners are the best! In an area where pizza shops are a dime a dozen, Jack's stands out!

My family and me have been coming here for a couple years now. I go to dialysis in Thorndale. The nurses recommended this place and we love it.!!!! Everything we get here is the best. Today my daughter and me stopped for lunch. I ordered a tuna hoagie, first time I got one here. It was delicious!!! The roll was super fresh.!!! We really enjoyed it. They make a fabulous pizza steak. I tried pizza steaks all over Chester county and this is the best. They bake the cheese on top!!!! The staff is super friendly and they go out of their way to please. We live in Downingtown and pass at least 50 pizza places to get to Jacks. If you haven't been here give it a try. You won't be sorry!!!!

My family and I use to LOVE jacks when I was growing up. I just recently moved back into the area and was super excited to have my boyfriend try their pizza! Unfortunately I was very disappointed it was a lot more expensive than I remember. We got a medium half extra cheese and half Hawaiian pizza that costed us $18! Then when we got home with our pizza it was ice cold I felt that they just heated up an old pizza that was sitting out all day. I'm not sure if we just caught them on a bad night or what but I'm not sure if we will be ordering from there again which is super disappointing because they use to be my FAVORITE pizza place in town!

The pizza was awesome! It was hot, the crust was just the right consistency, plenty of gooey cheese, sauce perfect. Will be trying again.

I used to order Jack's all the time when I was younger. Used to be my go to spot. Just came up from DC to visit my parents and figured I'd take a trip down memory lane. Holy God the pizza was horrible. I even woke up my mother with a slice of pizza and asked what the hell happened. She was like...this crap is from Jack's? Absolute greasy mess and none of the cheese or topping stayed on. The taste was practically non-existent. There is hardly any tomato sauce its basically just some sort of grease from the cheese. What an absolute shame. I usually don't leave reviews but from about 2003-2010 I probably spent $1000 in this joint. Maybe it was just a bad night. I know it's prom night for C-ville high so maybe you all ran out of sauce and just decided to use some grease substitute.

Food is awesome- I've been in area for 14 years and I've never been disappointed- wings, pizza and stromboli are the best around- they can get busy during peak times and days but everyone there works hard to get quality food out. It's worth the wait or grab a late lunch or early dinner to be in and out.

Great salads and strombolis! I used to order out from here often when I worked in the area. Their Greek Salad is my favorite. I am not a huge fan of their pizza, but everything else is great!

I'm aware that Jack's Pizza is a favorite among the locals but my last experience with take-out pizza was not so good. My husband and I seldom order take-out so I was really looking forward to having Jack's pizza that night. Boy, was I disappointed! I ordered a Vegetarian Special but unfortunately there was nothing special about it. It was described on the menu to have "roasted red peppers, mushrooms, broccoli, spinach black olives, tomatoes, and onion. It came with tiny pieces green peppers, which I cannot eat so I had to pick them off. The rest of the veggies were not fresh, they were canned or otherwise and the amount of toppings was very spars. I used to work close to Jack's and frequented there quite often. I'll be honest, I was really shocked at the poor quality!

This place is freggin' amazing! Their food is fresh and delicious! The staff is very friendly and they also offer a buy 10 get 1 free pizza. When we moved closer to Jack's, they became our main pizza place we've suggested to others. Their pizza ovens are set perfectly! When you ask for a crispy crust pizza, the dough is crispy throughout. Unlike some places that crisp the crust, while the pizza falls apart. Sandwiches and fries are OK. We reserve Jack's for pizzas only and go elsewhere for hoagies.

Masters degree in pizza... If you were to own a restaurant would you stick to the same suppliers regardless of cost, or would you change suppliers from time to time in search of a cheaper deal to make your product more profitable? In a world where most businesses are looking to cut corners to improve profitability, Jack's pizza just simply does it's thing and is far and away the best pizza in the area. Jack's pizza has been open now for over 15 years and they use the same ingredients they used when they open their doors. They make an amazing product, and they charge more for it than anybody in the area. As much as this review may seem like a love ballad for Jack's pizza, please know that I have tried to fire them a number of times over the years! We have tried other pizza shops, but find ourselves always coming back to Jack's. When comparing prices to other pizza shops in the area, Jack's is a $1.50-$3.00 more per pie. They don't deliver. Their location isn't exactly around the corner (from my house). I drive past four of their competitors on the way to pick up food from their store. Is the pizza really that good? In a word, yes. But that's not the only thing that keeps us going back. In addition to amazing pizza Jack's pizza does other food equally well (like cheesesteaks, salads, and buffalo wings). Their commitment to customer service is incredible. They know their customers. I have actually witnessed this in picking up food. These people actually greet their customers by name and are always thrilled to see you.This kind of service is increasingly rare in any business, much less the high volume pizza business. We order from Jack's pizza probably once every week. As such, I'm not writing about one particular visit or another. My experience has been virtually the same every time. These guys are far and away the best pizza joint in Chester County!

I have to agree with fellow Yelper Troy D. that this is hands down the best pizza in Chester County. I would even go a step further by saying that this is in the top 3 pizzas I have ever eaten. The only reason I do not frequent this fine establishment more often is because of how far away it is. For living in Downingtown, Coco's will need to fill the void (close second, but Jack's takes the crown). Every time I get a craving for not just good pizza, but great pizza, I suck it up and take the 20 minute trip. Is it worth it you ask? Two words: Damn right. If you think you have tried the best pizza around and live within 30 minutes of Jack's but haven't tried their pizza, give it a try and you will see why Jack's reigns supreme.

I recently moved to the area. My boyfriend and I went on a bit of a Pizza Tour to try the different pizza spots near our home, and find the best one. We tried about 4, and we always kept coming back to Jack's! Jack's has the best pizza pie in town! Good chicken fingers and wings as well! We frequent here once a week at least. The place is always crowded in a good way and great customer service! Always a buzz! We have definitely become regulars here and we always love the food!

We are new to the area and so grateful we found Jacks. The service is amazing. The people are super kind and the jumbo shrimp are to die for. Great place!!

Jack's has the best all around menu in the area, and possibly the best Stromboli I've ever had. I crave the boli, as well as the Loaded Fries. Good god, the Loaded Fries are amazing. More so, I have never not seen Jack's incredibly busy. They seem to know everyone by first name, and the owner is a great guy as well. I need to have the pizza again, as I don't remember the first time, but I don't know how I could ever go and not get the Stromboli. Jack's is just an incredible place to visit if you're in the area; or passing through. Again...Ham & Cheese boli over all.

My favorite pizza restaurant. Always on time. Great selection. Nice staff. The menu is quite extensive. You can get anything from pizza to shrimp.

I love this place but the customer service and high prices are why I will NEVER go back. Milton was and always has been extremely rude. I literally eat here ALL the time and the way I was treated yesterday was unacceptable and they lost a customer. Multiple customers since all of the food I ended up not getting was going to a party.

Had to upgrade to 5 stars & agree with many others how good this spot is. Usually only get slices, which are all great, but have to check out more if the menu. Soup is awesome, too!

Stopped here while out in Coatesville for some lunch. Their pizza is awesome. If you don't come here it is your loss. Prices are reasonable and the place is clean. I wish they were closer to where I live. Thanks for a great lunch.

I've been going here since we moved into the area. The food is really good. The owners and staff are super friendly. I'm really picky and precise and they always accommodate.

Our go to pizza place! The best pizza in town! Haven't really tired anything else from there but I'm sure it's all just as good!

Buffalo pizza is off the chain!! Never had a bad dish there. The wings are really good and we usually order spicy BBQ which is the buffalo and BBQ sauce mixed. Check this place out!

Good food. Agree with yelpers on this one. Problem is i go there many times and order the same thing but the prices are different each time. They dont even want to give receipts. Beware.

I eat here at least once a week. Love the friendly staff and good food. Great cheesesteaks. Gyros are good. Crab bisque is awesome. My son loves the hot wings. Our favorite take out spot but we eat in sometimes too. I highly recommend it.

This is some of the best pizza I have ever had. To be honest, their regular plain pizza is just average. But their specialty pizza like stuffed buffalo chicken, and the BBQ chicken, and the nacho pizza are all OUT OF THIS WORLD. And the people who run the shop are super nice. DEFINITELY recommended.
