Jack's Wood-Fired Oven

Dinner at Jack’s Wood-Fired Oven was incredible. There was a live band playing music from the moment we walked in, and the decor and wall art were amazing. Our server, Madeleine, was an absolute darling, and the pizza itself was delicious. The crust was the perfect blend between a crispy outside and a soft interior, and the sauce, cheese, and meat blended together perfectly. They had in-house ranch at no extra charge! Would highly recommend!

The pizza dough is made fresh, and tastes fantastic. The atmosphere is amazing. They have a mural painted on the wall that's absolutely amazing. The staff is very friendly and attentive.

Food was good. It was a fun stop. I just wish that the staff was a little more knowledgeable about their gluten free options. And my Gluten free ancient grain crust was burnt on the edges. Over all it tasted good (except the burned parts) but it felt a little pricey.

My friends have been hyping this place up. I've heard all about their creative pizzas, and I gotta be honest, it was pretty good. Tried the BIG Lu bowski and the Cozumel. Fun pizzas , good crust. Lunch special is 11-13 dollars for a pizza and a salad, no drink. I liked it, looking forward to trying some of the other ones they have!

Good food and good people! I came in a little over an hour before close and was greeted relatively quickly. Once greeted I was given a menu and not rushed and given great recommendations upon request. After ordering I was able to listen to some fantastic live music and relax in the mean time! Great experience!!

Cool place with a wood fired oven.. lots of menu choices.. excellent pizza place.. recommend the Thaiphoon and polish it off with some zeppole.

So, just to clarify we really like pizza. We make a point to try all the pizza places in our area, we just moved to Southern Idaho in December so we are still trying to hit all of them in Cache Valley. With that said, we are not a fan of this place. The pizza was fine but for what we got it was overpriced. Pizza is super thin, hardly any toppings. Nothing really stood out or blew us away. Another one of my complaints is that my husband likes his pizza super spicy. At other pizza places he’s had more options by adding toppings such as spicy sausage, siracha, hot honey, etc. When I called to place this order I informed the hostess that my husband likes his pizza super spicy. She informed me that they use pickled jalapeños so they are pretty spicy. That didn’t make sense because as someone who has pickled jalapeños before, it typically makes them less spicy, not more, but I took her word for it. My husband said it wasn’t spicy at all. The whole meal really lacked flavor in general. If we decide to give Jacks another chance and my mind is changed I will update my review.

I’m not asking you to go eat here. I telling you to. It is that good. The pizza combinations are unique. The crust is perfect. The flavors and freshness of ingredients is something you never see anywhere. The owner is legit and makes amazing pizza. What more could you ask for than a damn good meal. Exciting vibrant yet chill environment. Im past recommending. Just go already and stop reading my review! Thanks for the amazing elegant pizza!

Absolutely excellent food and service! The Love Triangle pizza and Purple Goat salad were delicious!

Went here twice recently. First time was prob a 4/5 and got some sort of alfredo chicken pizza. Went back again and the pizza was mostly crust, very little sauce, cheese or toppings. I expected more toppings for the price I paid.

I'd heard good things, but was left a little disappointed. I think across all the pizzas we felt they were dry, I was almost looking for something to dip mine into to help it along. Our waitress was kind, but the cook time was long and things came out unevenly. I sat for 10 minutes waiting while my friends awkwardly pretended they didn't want to eat the pizzas sitting in front of them. Missed some refills etc. It was also pretty expensive! Paid almost $20 for a pizza I wasn't in love with. The live music was really cool, but got loud in such a small place. Wouldn't come back unless there were some small changes made.

Rachel was kind and quick to serve us. The love triangle pizza was sweeter than expected, but so flavorful! I enjoy sitting in the booth with the artwork on the walls. Great pitstop next to the hotel.

What an amazing pizza experience! I had the pig and peaches and the Love Triangle. The flavors were unique and savory and sweet. We don't live close to here but I love it.

So we looked up photos of the food at this place prior to ordering.....they didn't look like this. The pizza is what you would expect from a tombstone and the Alfredo is well... you judge. It looks like it tasted. Water down and not hot at all. I would not recommend; however got two stars for the atmosphere and the kindness of the staff.

In the past, Jack's has been a fun place to go for lunch. However, if you have more than four in your group, you cannot order the lunch special?! What?? Why even have lunch specials then? What's the difference if four sit at a table and three at another table...you still have 7 pizzas to make whether they are together or not?! This makes no sense.The pizzas are so sparse on ingredients but the cost is sure high. Won't be rushing back if at all!

Great pizza joint right smack in the middle of downtown Logan. Take a seat in one of the comfy booths and take a gander at the funky murals before settling in with a lime Rickey and perusing the menu. The wood-fired pizzas are crazy good, and there's a great variety of new-to-you toppings combinations. My wife always gets the Bleu Apple pizza, says it's her favorite thing ever. I've sampled around the menu and everything is delicious and thoughtful. Crisp crust, soft and chewy center. A couple of the pizzas may have one or two toppings too many. Thin, wood-fired crust likes 3-4 toppings max, or it can get a little soft in the center. I always get a bowl of the fire roasted tomato soup. A perfect, garlicky, tomato"ey" bite.

Love this place right on Main Street in logan. When we went they had live music and that's always fun to listen to local talent. We shared a few pizzas and they were delish! I love woodfire pizzas and this was great!

I really like Jacks, especially their lunch special. To my disappointment, they won't let you order the special if you have more than 4 in your party! Why??? Someone ordered gluten free pizza, not only was it way smaller than the other pizzas but was burnt, and cost $5 more. Really disappointed.

"Desperately Seeking Pizza" was the theme of this particular Saturday, and we found it at Jack's - thankfully just before the crowd. Our server, Bri P., was delightful, helpful in our choices, offering drink refills and asking if we want dessert. (Duh!) After agonizing over the menu it was Love Triangle pizza, Sausage Marinara pasta, Kale & Sausage soup of the day, and Lemon Cream Cake and Tiramisu (the last 2 to go). Food came out quick, so we were in and out in less than 45 min. Will return the next time the "Pizza Hunt Monster" visits...

This is, by far, the best pizza in Logan. It's a cute small place with tables, booths, and some long friendly tables on the side back. Service is always nice and helpful. We never wait very long for refills. They have live music twice a week as well. Also, there is a wine and beer list.

First off I'm Italian. Saw the reviews online and decided to give it a taste. What a travesty this was. The pisa was literally 2-3 cm's thick and what appeared to be government/welfare cheese toasted on top smh. Ordered multiple pizzas and they were all the same. I'm beginning to question the taste buds of the city of Logan. That pizza made little Cesar's seem like gourmet heaven. If this is what passes as 'good food' in Logan then may the lord have mercy on this poor town. The 'screaming Italian' from the frozen section at wincos is currently the best pizza in Logan

If you pass through Logan, Utah, and don't have pizza at Jack's, you are missing a wonderful experience. The pizza we ordered is likely the best I have ever eaten. The secret to this great pizza is the 1200-degree woodfired oven. You should also ask when Savanah, our waitress, will be working! She is the best! I live in Wyoming and would consider moving to Logan just for this pizza!

Loved the food and the service. I recommend the Tomato Soup!! A real thin crust pizza was great as well.

My daughter and I had dinner here and it was amazing! We tried the purple goat salad, fire-roasted tomato basil soup, the bocca pizza, and the Jack's zeppolle. We were so happy and full when we left.

The pizza was so good and had interesting flavors. The salad was fresh and delicious. Kids loves the butter noodles 1,00000 stars

I am giving this place a 5 star when eating in the restaurant! ((Take out was a 3 star but take out is what it is... I have no expectations with take out honestly)) So when visiting my college kids we will always try to eat there! There is nothing that we ordered that is not fabulous. We love the lyon bread so much! It is really good!! We got the granny goose and purple goat salads and loved them both! I think I would have been satisfied with just the lyon bread and salads :) We have gotten quite a few of their pizzas and they are all delicious!! You cannot go wrong here! It is all GOOD!! And the staff is very friendly! I think it's the best pizza in Logan!

Service - Terrible. We had a group of us. Asked if we could do the lunch special. Rudely told "No" because we were in a group of more than 5. After ordering, it took more than 50 minutes to get our food. Then another 10+ minutes to pay. Dude was also rude when we asked if we could pay up front. Additionally they charged an automatic 20% tip because we had a larger group. The food, service, and ambiance was NOT worth a 20% tip. Ended up there an hour and a half, with rude service. Asked about if they do a military discount, felt belittled for asking. Strongly recommend any other pizza place - Firehouse, Ruby's Pizzeria. Don't waste your money at this place!

We visited on a Saturday afternoon. Very attentive service. The staff were so kind! We had the Purple Goat Salad and Pig and the Peach pizza. Both were really good! The pizza has a peach glaze that is very sweet but good! There pizza crust is very tasty - truly European style. Will definitely be back to try more from their menu.

Our group ordered 3 pizzas and loved everything we tried. Tomato soup was also a favorite. Surprised by good, authentic tiramisu for dessert!

Great place for families to grab pizzas, salads, and pasta! Jack's has a lot of fun pizzas to choose from and we tried a bunch - all tasty! The purple salad was really great if you like beets and goat cheese. Our server, Bradley, was one of the best servers I've had at any restaurant anywhere and handled our large group so well. Recommended!

If you want a fun date night this is your place. Great, friendly customer service. Music, ice cold beer on tap and great food. We started with the side Rocket salad, it was enough for two and that lemon vinaigrette dressing, so tangy, sour and yummy. Our pizza was the famous PIG AND THE PEACH, Wow!!! We went back on day 2 of our trip for another one. And don't forget the pesto Lyon bread. I'm ready to go back it's only an hour drive...hmmm!!!

Everything is always so fresh, this is my go to lunch spot. Anytime I need to do some remote work or just have a little break, I know that I'll be able to unwind and the staff is always so helpful but not high pressure, so it feels like I'm just with friends anytime I come in.

Disappointed in the service. Upon entering we stood for several minutes before being greeted or acknowledged. Finally the hosted took our name and we were seated in 10 minutes or so. After being seated we were ignored for 10 minutes or more while others who came in after us were served drinks and orders taken. Finally the hostess saw we were being ignored by wait staff brought us water and took our food order. If it weren't for her I don't know if we would have been served. She was very sweet and we gave her a nice tip. Food was ok. Ambiance was nice with guitarists providing music.

It tasted pretty good-wasn't my favorite, but wasn't bad either. Service wasn't very good. Wasn't welcomed, everyone was acting sleepy, the gal took our order, came back once to see if everything was ok, but then had to ask another gal for the check, because our gal wasn't around after that. Ambiance was really cool- place has all the potential, but I would say lack of service is what didn't come thru for me.

Really good food. Fun ambiance. Great service. Be sure to try the specialty pizzas, they're really good. Love triangle, Pig and the Peach, Chuckwagon, etc. the salads and appetizers are really good too. Highly recommended.

One of the grooviest places in Logan. Very unusual pizzas, a mushroom appetizer delivered from some deistic realm. One of my favorite places of all time. They often have musical entertainment and ALWAYS have great cuisine!

Best pizza and service in Logan. I love the Pepperoni Italiano . My husband loves the Big Lewbowski. The $2 drafts on Mondays with the live jazz makes a great date night. The restaurant has fun seating options and a warm welcoming vibe.

Smells delicious, everybody looks happy. I ordered "to go" from a menu with great variety of choices. I will have a final report after eating.

We are out of town residents for the summer and found Jack's pizza. The minute we walked in the door we were greeted by Bradley. He was personable and made us feel very welcome. We ordered the "Big LU'Bowski pizza , which was absolutely delicious. We also ordered a pasta dish, Sausage Marinara, which also was very good. Definitely would return to Jack's as the food was delicious and the service we received from Bradley was excellent. We will definitely be returning as long as we are visiting Logan.

What a fun, unique pizza place! The menu is full of items that foodies live for. The thin crust pizza cooked in a wood fire oven is probably the best crust I've had on a pizza. Our family had the Cache pizza. Loved it. The Lyon bread was amazing! From start to finish we were impressed with the quality and taste of the food. The price was affordable and the service great. We visited on a Monday afternoon during the pandemic so there were many other guests out. I look forward to making it back to Logan to try more menu items.

So many unique and delicious pizza's. The salads are amazing also. Great service and Friday nights there is life music which makes it a great place to be.

This is probably my favorite pizza in town. It's unique but so yummy. It's a fun place to go sit down.

We loved this eatery. The only reason fir the 4 stars is... that we sat in the back if the restaurant and it was so dark. The menu has pizza, pastas, salads, kids menu, and several flavors of flat breads. Everyone at the table had something different. The Rocket Salad with huckleberry dressing, Asiago cheese, fresh raspberries and blueberries, arugula, etc., was the perfect opening for this family and friends dinner. The Alfredo Chicken pasta was huge and yummy. The Cozumel pizza is very unique and the variation of flavors, was very savory...making you want more. The Love Triangle pizza has bbq sauce cheese, huckleberry chicken, bacon red onion, peppadew paper, Slide Ridge honey, Parmesan and cilantro...very western and so good. The Pig and Peach pizza is a good combination of flavors, but the crust was a little too crunchy for my liking. It was more like a flat bread, than a pizza. The Margherita pizza has a lot of tomato sauce and hardly any cheese, it wasn't very robust with flavor. The staff was friendly and attentive. Our server anticipated our needs and was able to Reccomend some of her favorites(which was helpful, when you have six adults, and a large variety of entrees, to choose from). There is live music on Friday and Saturday nights. This eatery is kid friendly, offers a great variety menu items, good value and portions. Thank you, to the staff of Jack's. We would recommend to anyone who is visiting Logan, Utah.

Family fav. Sometimes they even have live music. I love the garlic Lyon bread and to dip it in the tomato basil soup and then I get a small ticket salad. The boys like the chuckwagon! The staff is always awesome too.

Pepperoni pizza was good. My wife's veggie pizza was gross and she likes veggie pizza. Service was slow and the bill was super expensive.

AMAZING. To this day is the best pizza I've ever had (and as a travel writer, I've had some of the best). The soups are incredible, but there's a pizza with huckleberries on it that is to die for Such cool regional flavors. Such a fan of the use of local ingredients! DO NOT MISS THIS SPOT!
