My husband and I are thrilled to have found this comfortable and attractive lodging just 10 minutes from the lifts at Snow Basin! ||The country style rooms are clean and well maintained. The carpet looks new. We especially appreciated having the rooms well lit for reading in the evening. Have you noticed how some accommodations, even expensive rooms, often are not well lit? ||The lower floor of this 1938 milk barn was styled into a beautiful space for the restaurant, while the upper floor holds seven spacious guest rooms. The high peak of the barn allows for each guest room to have two floors, with the upper having access by way of a circular steel staircase. This top floor is my favorite with a couch, coffee table, dresser, antique desk and large sloping windows in addition to the double bed. The main level of the guest room contains a second bed, a small closet, two comfortable chairs and a table, in addition to the bathroom. ||Please note there is no elevator, so you will need to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs. ||Self serve breakfast is on the second floor just down the hall from the guest rooms and includes bagels, assorted yogurts, fruit, and a variety of cereals along with juice, coffee and tea. ||Both WiiFi and cellular service are available in the room with Verizon service having three bars and AT&T having one bar. ||We are already planning our return to this cozy accommodation for our next weekend of skiing!

My daughter and I stayed here 5 nights on a ski trip to Snowbasin and Powder Mountain. There's not much closer to Snowbasin. The room was comfortable and my daughter liked having her own space in the large loft bedroom. Breakfast was self-serve and nothing special but a quick and sufficient way to get enough to hit the slopes. The owner was friendly and accommodating. I liked the dogs, and they would leave you alone if you didn't want them around. The restaurant was good too.

I was amazed to discover that Jackson Fork in is actually a historic dairy barn that has been converted into beautiful inn. Each room has its own unique layout and mine felt like a cozy loft. It had separate rooms within the suite which would be perfect for a large family. ||||It also had a huge Whirlpool tub that was very nice to soak in. I imagine that would be the perfect end to a day of skiing. The natural and organic bath products gave an extra special touch.||||When I arrived the owner actually checked me in and was very friendly. The Inn is close to most of the Ogden Ski resorts and I would say it's the perfect getaway.

I was spending a couple of days at Powder Mountain and was looking for a place to stay. For $80 a night for a room that had an upstairs and downstairs sounded confusing at first but worth checking out. It was a quick 30 minutes to the slopes. The place was run some friendly folk. All the rooms were on the second floor with a restaurant on the first. Everything was very quaint. The place was pet friendly. The "manager" was this big friendly dog that walked around like he own the place. The room really was two stories. Seems like a nice setup keep kids separate from the parents. There was good WiFi and a flat screen with hdmi so I could stream netflix from my laptop.I didn't have any problems getting hot water but the pressure wasn't the best. I was able to fill nice hot bath for soaking after a long day of riding that really did the trick. I didn't partake in the continental breakfast, but it did help myself to their hot water pot. Would definitely bring more people next time to make full use of the place.

I booked a room for our 12th wedding anniversary thinking that after a day of snowboarding and enjoying the mountains we would stay in Huntsville. What a nightmare! We reserved a room with a hot-tub, and it went down-hill from there. My wife and I were looking foward all dat for a soak in the tub and it had a faucet that trickled cold to luke warm water. After 15 minutes the tub had about 2" of ice cold water so we decided to shower. Well that was ice cold. Frustration set in and we contacted the desk. The owner said everything should work.......well it obviously did not. The owner checked the boiler and said all is well. I waited 15 more minutes and the water was ice cold. After going back to the front desk a 2nd time I requested my money back, and went to another local hotel that accomomdated our needs for about 25.00 dollars less and had an awesome atmosphere. |P.S.The front desk///restaurant has dogs that are owned by the owner lying around in it. I love dogs, but a restaurant setting is not the place for these pets.|

Owner was very rude. Then when we tried to discuss it with her she blew us off and justified herself. We have been long time customers of both Chris' (gas station and restaurant just next door) and we won't be going back. If you need gas then go exactly a mile down the road to Chevron and if you need a place to stay then use the Airbnb's in the condos less than a mile away. They are nicer anyway. I am a small business owner myself and would never treat a customer the way I was treated this weekend. Rude and arrogant. Save yourself and go elsewhere.

We came to stay at "The Jackson Fork Inn" to celebrate my birthday. I am 8.5 months pregnant and my husband wanted to surprise me with one more get away before the baby comes. We also chose the Jackson Fork Inn because they are pet friendly. We arrived and discovered dead bugs on the bed, the pillows, and in the bathroom. I was somewhat less than impressed that the room was not cleaned or checked before we our arrival. Later during our stay I went to take a shower. There was NO hot water. We were the only guests in the entire inn. We called Vicki the manager and told her. She told us to turn the water all the way to hot and let it run. We did this for over 20 minutes and still no hot water. She told us that the room next to ours had hot water. We explained that we still were not getting any. She then came and asked me what I wanted her to do. Our options were stay in that room or leave. She could have provided another room, a discount, or a free brunch the next day. Instead she wanted me to come up with a solution to the problem. The problem was a broken hot water valve in our shower. So the rest of the inn had hot water and we weren't offered another room! The morning of check out I gave the key to another employee who apologized for our bad experience but said "you are in the country" as if that explained that why we didn't have hot water. I said to her that we paid for a service and we expected hot water. The manager did absolutely nothing to improve our accommodations. We basically had to deal with dead bugs in our bed and bathroom and no hot water or lose the money we paid for the room. The Jackson Fork Inn is NOT worth the money we paid to stay in it. They have awful customer service and did nothing to help improve our stay. We will never stay here again and certainly wouldn't recommend "The Jackson Fork Inn" to anyone!

My girlfriend and I were going to a party in nearby Eden, and anticipating a late night, we didn't want to drive back to Salt Lake City afterwards. Consequently, we booked a room at the Jackson Fork Inn. The bill was about $95. The owner was extremely nice and friendly (at least I assume she was the owner). But in all honesty, this is a sad, worn little place. The furnishings are old and extremely cheap. Our room was a strange two-story affair with a bathroom and couch downstairs and a bed in a loft above, accessible only by a narrow iron spiral staircase. It was relatively clean I guess, but everything was so old and worn, it was frankly difficult to evaluate the cleanliness. The included breakfast was a selection of granola bars, cereal boxes, and mini cinammon rolls from Costco. There was a jug of very spoiled milk in the fridge, together with an open, questionable carton of OJ. For $95 I wasn't expecting the Four Seasons, but we left feeling a bit ripped off.

Yelp
Friendly service. Quaint environment. Reasonable price. Your standard homestyle breakfast: biscuits, gravy, bacon. Not my favorite but we were in a very large (60+ people) group. They did well in keeping hungry riders full of coffee and fed to full up. ~m

Yelp
I stayed at the inn for three nights while skiing at powder mountain and snowbasin. It was a lovely stay! The location is great, just 15 minute drive from snowbasin and 20 minutes from powder mountain. The rooms were clean, comfortable, quaint, and very enjoyable. Vicki, the owner, was very welcoming and pleasant, and very helpful when we had questions or special requests. Would definitely stay again, and recommend to family and friends.

Yelp
Stopped for dinner during a break while running Ragnar and was very impressed. Decor is old and my expectations were low based on the look of the place, but I was wrong. Service was friendly and attentive and the salmon was delicious. It's getting added to my list for post ski dinners this winter.

Yelp
This is a great place for Sunday brunch. Vicky the owner is outstanding. She will prepare any breakfast item to your individual request then follows up to make sure it is exactly what you wanted. The place has a very country warm atmosphere. It is not fancy but definitely meets all my families needs. My sister and my mother all love this place. Blueberry pancakes are great!!!!!
