Jackson Hole Aerial Tram and Gondola Rides

Jackson Hole's bright red Aerial Tram is probably the most famous tram to ride in the United States. It's about a 10 - to 12-minute journey, and the views along the way are amazing. We got on early, and the line wasn't bad at 20 minutes or so. By the afternoon, the lines looked over an hour. Honestly, if you're not skiing Corbetts or backcountry, I wouldn't wait any longer than 30 minutes to ride the tram as a big open bowl is your only way down from the top which I could take or leave. Still, this is a must do experience on any trip to Jackson Hole to ski, hike, or sight see.

Had no wait for the aerial tram. Went in mid September on a Friday. The tram takes 12 -15 mins to get to the top. Cheaper tickets if you buy online. Personally I felt it was overpriced. Was $88 for two people. Was fun to do once not sure if I’d do it again. Some hikes at the top as well. Was very windy and chilly. Waffles are good to grab while you’re up there.

Order tickets online. Aerial tram closes for season 10/6/2024. Email confirmation is sent and will be needed to get wristbands. Wristbands are required to board tram. It is a 12-minute ride to top. Sights are beautiful, but we wouldn't advise for wheelchairs. Unless parents have good control of children, we wouldn't recommend for children. Depending on time of year, may need a hoodie/jacket. And chapstick. A lot of wind. Ladybugs are plentiful.

Cost was about $50/$60 a person. This was an excellent way to make your way up the mountain without having to break a sweat. The tram does sway, so beware. Please note, there IS a 10 degree swing from ground level to the top. Top is super windy. Dress accordingly. If I could do this again, I'd bring my own food and drinks. Dining around the area was pricing

Decided to come up here and take the tram and gondolas to do some hiking. It’s set up pretty well to make exploring easy. The large team holds about 80 people going up. We had waffles at the top of the tram and explored. Plus they have a great lookout point. We also used one of the gondolas to get to a hike higher up. It was awesome but we had to cut it short due to a thunder storm that came in. Everyone hung out at the restaurant at the top till the storm passed since the gondola can’t be in use durning the storm. The view from the result was amazing!!!! Would be awesome to eat dinner towards sunset. Lots of food places to choose from at the bottom. Plus chairs to sit in and take in the view. Great day!!!!

Amazing views! My husband actually stopped in his tracks because it took his breath away as we got off the tram. Pro-tip: DO NOT skip the waffles! Buying tickets was easy. We got the package & utilized all the gondolas. Teton Village was a great place to spend the day!

The gentleman who helped us was superb. We had a large group, and he added a group discount as well as some family passes, saving us over $300 from our original price. The tram was amazing, with spectacular views. Family-friendly experience. Everyone had fun!

We took the Tram ride in the summer and were very pleased. The Tram provided a great view of the mountains as well as town views. At the top they have built a overlook bridge to enhance the view. The waffles at the top were like icing on the cake.
