Highly recommend! We had a fabulous snowshoeing excursion with Eco Tours. David took us to Coulter Bay to experience the best snow. It was a winter wonderland. David is very knowledgeable and has so much to share about the area and wildlife. They provide equipment, binoculars, snacks, & drinks. Will definitely do this again!!

Wildlife Tour was great!! Our guide knew so much about the area and wildlife! We saw moose, big horn sheep, elk, & cayote. They provide binoculars and a viewing scope for close up views. Rooftop viewing was great. The drinks were warming and snacks delicious. It was an all around great experience. Highly recommend!

Today we had the fortunate luck of having Jeff Olson as our snowshoeing guide. He was so knowledgeable about the whole eco system of the area. We enjoyed our experience so much we are looking at purchasing out own gear, all because of our experience with Jeff. I'm sure all guides are excellent but you should request Jeff for local knowledge. Thanks Jeff!!

Ryan K. guided my best friend and I on our first cross country ski tour. Ryan went out of his way to help us capture epic photos and provided great trail snacks. After a solid morning traversing Pilgrim Creek Road, we sipped on hot beverages as he graciously continued to share local history and conservation nuggets. We were beyond impressed with our experience. EcoTour Adventures also acted to quickly respond to our questions. If you’re after a safe, educational, and adventure filled experience— this experience is for you!

I was debating between a wildlife viewing tour or a snowshoeing tour, as both sounded equally amazing. While I would have loved to do both. I ultimately chose the 4-hour snowshoeing tour—and I’m so glad I did! Though I started with the shorter tour, I now feel completely comfortable recommending anyone, even first-timers, to dive straight into their 8-hour tours. The way the guides professionally and attentively take care of every detail ensures that you’ll have an exceptional and comfortable experience, no matter the length of the tour. This tour is an absolute must for anyone visiting Jackson, especially if you’re not yet comfortable diving into skiing or snowboarding lessons at JHMR in Teton Village or Snow King Resort. Even if you are planning to take on those sports, I’d recommend starting with this tour first. It’s a fantastic way to get comfortable with the cold weather, being around snow, and appreciating the beauty of the region at a more leisurely pace. The guides are phenomenal! Jeff, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and so passionate about the wildlife and winter ecology of the area. He made the experience engaging, fun, and deeply enriching. What stood out even more was how attentive and humble the guides are—they go above and beyond to ensure your comfort, offering snacks, warm beverages, and constant check-ins to make sure you’re enjoying the experience to the fullest. The snowshoeing tour itself was breathtaking. It felt like stepping into a winter wonderland, and the pace was perfect for taking in the scenery, learning from the guide, and snapping photos. The entire experience felt personal and catered to our group, with every detail thoughtfully planned to make sure we were having the best time possible. If you’re visiting Jackson, do yourself a favor and book a tour with Jackson Hole EcoTour Adventures. Whether you’re looking for an introduction to winter activities or just a unique way to connect with nature, this is the perfect experience. I know I’ll be recommending it to anyone visiting, and when I can afford it next, I’ll definitely be back to try their wildlife viewing tour!

Our family had a fantastic sunset tour with Ricky. He was friendly, knowledgable about the animals and the area, and patient with my kids questions. We were able to see a grizzly bear, many elk including a bull elk, eagle, moose with her young, prong horn, coyote, and mule deer. All while traveling comfortably in one of the tour vehicles with snacks and drinks. The binoculars and spotting scopes they provide allowed us to see the animals well from a comfortable distance with precise clarity. It was an amazing experience and I highly recommend a tour when you are in the area. It is something our family will never forget.

Our tour guide, Sarah, started our epic day with a rundown of the day’s activities so we knew just what to expect. During our wildlife tour we saw elk, wolves, coyotes, bighorn sheep, moose, and bison. Sarah knew where to go to find the herds. The combo of her scope and the Swarovski binoculars we were each given resulted in some great views. When it was time to show shoe she found fresh snow with a beautiful Teton backdrop. We had new snowshoers in the group so she took the time to setup equipment and give a few safety tips. The snacks and warm drinks were just right. Lunch at Dornan’s was yummy and gave us the fuel we needed for snow shoeing.

We booked the Sunset Wildlife Safari and Steve was our guide. He showed up on time at the pick up location and there were a total of 6 people on our tour, which was great because we had plenty of space to spread out in the vehicle. Steve was very professional, knowledgable, and friendly. We saw a handful of moose- one pretty close up, bison, elk, and a bald eagle. We were able to capture some great photos and video with his phone attached to a spotter scope, we didnt even need binoculars. Both my husband and I were really impressed by the service and will definitely be using them again next time.
