Jacksons Motor Inn

Room looked clean, but very stained carpet. Middle of winter and the quilt on the bed was more like a thick sheet rather than a quilt . Bathroom was disgusting stained spa and rust everywhere. Outside walls were broken pile of dismantled tables and generally stuff that should be at the dump. I used to stay in this motel in the 80s, it was clean and a lovely motel. I will never stay there again . Even the reception had stained chairs. Best to pull it all down and rebuild.

Fair would be a good description. Bit shocked when we arrived, very dirty outside rooms. ( blood stains )etc. But once I'd checked in and collected our crockery and cutlery at front desk we went to find room. Perhaps don't get room 19 it's right next to the laundry and surrounded by big trolleys of dirty sheets. That's where the negative really ends. Room was clean, no smells. Air con remote didn't work but after call to reception a man came within.minutes and changed remote. Good tele, very comfortable bed and pillows. Toaster, kettle, microwave and small amount of tea, coffee and 5 one serve milks. Shower was great, bathroom.clean. Yes there was aesthetically room for improvement but you're not paying ***** rates. All in all a very pleasant experience and if needed to be close to city I'd definitely stay again.

Among the most affordable during the period. Our room has enough space for four people. Their beds were comfortable. Looks a bit outdated, but it was actually a regular motel. Wifi was available, and shower was pretty strong. Friendly staff.

To say I was very dissatisfied with my time here is an understatement.|| I stayed for two nights and entered the room to find the quilt cover had holes in it and there was dirt within the carpet. I did not have high hopes coming into this place as I had read some of the reviews, but I was even more disappointed than I imagined to be. ||The shower had Mould growing within the sides and the inside of the mini fridge was filthy with scum, my partner and I had to clean it before storing our water in it. There was also a $50 key deposit which I was more than happy to pay, but I feel as though this should have been forewarned upon the booking. ||The overall appeal of this place was very messy and felt very eerie, there were used dishes and towels sitting in the garden beds outside of the rooms the whole time we stayed, absolutely disgusting. We saw cleaners passing the area many times but not a single one of them dealt with the rubbish. Not to mention my partner got bedbugs whilst sleeping here, waking up with rashes, extreme itchiness and small bites all over her.||We felt unsafe and uncomfortable within this motel, with police showing up to the rooms next door both nights and very loud arguments constantly. We felt dirty the whole stay and did not even feel comfortable enough to shower as even the shower was disgusting. We were very excited to leave this place and decided to spend the rest of our time in Adelaide at a different motel.||Am currently battling to request the refund I deserve. ||This stay was not worth my money at all.||Extremely Disappointed.

What a waste of money time n effort. I booked so we could use the pool, it is the main picture on their ad and we were only told it was out of action after we got changed and couldn't open the gate. No notices, no pre warning at check in. Weekend was wasted. Room stunk. Water was turned off for 2 hours, again no warning, so we couldn't get ready to go out for dinner. Reception staff were rude and unempathetic. NEVER again. Pay a bit more and feel good after your stay SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Don't stay here. Terrible customer service. $50 deposit for key(fair enough). Stayed 2 nights, which was 2 nights too long. |We had staff come into our room while we weren't their & apparently clean our room, even though only their the 2 nights. Left 2 clean towels, no face cloths, no bath mat. Only pulled up outer cover on bed, wasn't made. Left us with 1 teaspoon. |When I questioned them about entering the room while we were out, they said "they clean every day". Must put do no clean sign on door. This was not mentioned at checkin. Room was not cleaned. Parking at the front of your room, though they say there is no designated place to park. Umm, yes, I would like to park my car at the font of said occupied room. |Toaster supplied in room, no plates, no knives. Plus iron, no board.|This place is run by Asians who don't care but glad to take your money & snoop while you're not there. |Avoid this place.||

This motel is ok if you are using it for a night stopover. Otherwise, there are plenty of better choices around. For us, it was just that! We stayed here for a night while on a road trip to Coober Pedy. There are more negatives at this facility. For starters, the bloke at the reception wanted $50 as a deposit. When I reminded him that my booking was made through a different platform where no such condition was mentioned, he dropped that idea. Our room was upstairs (on the other side near Princes highway) which was noisy and the car park was really tight, especially for bigger vehicles, utes, etc. The room was pretty dated with torn carpets. There was smell of cigarette smoke emanating from the bathroom and the room heating. Someone had tried to cover the smoke alarm with latex gloves, which was still left hanging on the ceiling. On the positive side, though -- the hot water supply was good and there are some eating choices around close by. It's handy for road trip travellers because it's right next to Princes highway.

The room had everything we need for our family holiday. The rooms were clean, spacious and quiet. The staff was polite and eager to help. Beds were comfortable and the motel is conveniently located near a servo and a hungry jacks to take care of any late night cravings or easy dinners. My only issue was with the shower, the water didn't drain properly so if you only had a few minutes to shower before it started to overflow. Other than that one issue, everything else was good. Great value for money.

This is hands down the most appalling hotel experience I've ever had -- and I've travelled extensively around the world. The staff couldn't care less. No apology, no empathy, just complete indifference. The shower was completely blocked, wouldn't drain at all. I called to complain, they said they'd fix it -- showed up the next day and did absolutely nothing. Problem remained exactly the same. Now I'm trying to get a refund and, surprise surprise, they're completely ignoring me. They clearly don't give a damn about their guests once they've got your money. I'll be filing a formal complaint with the ACCC because this is unacceptable. If you're reading this, do yourself a favour and STAY AWAY. This place is a total joke.
