"Designed specifically for kids 14 and under with the theme 'Life on Earth Depends on Plants,' this nature-themed garden blends play and education through a farm, orchard, forest stream and ponds, treehouses, a suspension bridge and a garden maze. Interactive zones teach children about growing fruits and vegetables, reducing food waste and the surrounding flora and fauna, encouraging hands-on learning about ecosystems while they play." - Joy Fang and Anna Tan

This was such a treat. The sand play area by the tree house was awesome. The wild chickens running around are lovely. And the water splash play area was great, it had changing rooms there and was so easy amd everyone had fun. The parking is also so close and easy to get to and the kid friendly restaurant was lovely. Highly recommended and will definitely come back again.

An amazing place to visit with kids! Make sure you have enough time to check out more of the botanical gardens! The National Orchid Gardens are incredible! But also th walk in between was really cool!

🧚🤽Located next to the Eco Lake, Jacob Ballas Children's Garden in Botanic Gardens is a playground specially designed for children. 🛝🪣There are many interesting and fun places within the Children's Garden itself, like the Tree House and Slides, Sandplay area, Flying Fox (Zipline), and etc. 🚿🩳But, the main attraction is undoubtably the Water Playground. Little ones will definitely have a great time here. Great family time together. 🍔🧋🚻Within the Children's Garden is an eatery and a toilet. ✅Entry is free. Adult have to be with children to enter. 🅿️Parking lots are available at the Children's Garden entrance area. 🚝A few minutes walk from Botanic Gardens MRT Station by Circle Line or Downtown Line. ⛔Close on Monday. But will be open, if it's a PH.

A well-designed and thoughtfully planned garden specifically for children, located within the Singapore Botanic Gardens. It features a variety of fun zones: a water playground for cooling off, a flying fox that adds a bit of adventure, sand play areas, and other small play zones for children to explore. There are also plenty of flowers and greenery for both kids and parents to enjoy, creating a fun and relaxing environment for families. Entry is free, and there is ample parking nearby, making it very convenient for family visits.

We visited the Jacob Ballas Water Park at 3 pm and enjoyed a more relaxed atmosphere with fewer children. Our little one had a blast exploring the area freely. The park started to get busier around 5 pm, likely due to the sunset. We'd recommend visiting on a weekday to avoid the crowds that likely flock on weekends.

My little one really enjoyed our time here! The play area was great for kids. However, I did notice that there wasn't much shade available, which could be an issue on hot days. The changing facilities were a bit limited, with only a few rooms (I can't recall the exact number), and they unfortunately lacked hooks or stools for bags. On a positive note, having a cafe right next door was very convenient for grabbing a bite or relaxing."

Water play reopened here recently and it’s the perfect size during off peak hours for my 5 year old. Can get crowded on weekends so go weekdays in the evening for less crowds and good weather!

Great place to connect kids to nature. The water play area is quite fun. The environment is quite welcoming. Many plants around with gardening techniques. The cafe here is quite cozy.
