Jacob Ballas Children's Garden

My daughter and I had the most wonderful day at **Jacob Ballas Children's Garden** — it was truly a magical experience for both of us. From the moment we stepped in, we were surrounded by lush greenery and beautifully designed play areas that are clearly made just for children. My daughter was instantly excited! She absolutely loved the water play area — splashing around and laughing nonstop — and the treehouse playground was such a fun little adventure for her. Everything felt safe, clean, and thoughtfully designed to encourage exploration and learning. What I appreciated most as a parent was how educational the garden is. There are so many interactive elements that teach children about plants and nature in a fun, hands-on way. It’s not just a playground; it’s a place where kids can connect with the environment while having the time of their lives. The atmosphere was peaceful and family-friendly, with plenty of shaded areas and benches for parents to relax while keeping an eye on their little ones. It felt like the perfect balance of fun, learning, and quality bonding time. It was such a special day watching my daughter explore, discover, and smile from ear to ear. Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden is truly a gem, and we can’t wait to visit again for more precious memories together. 🌿💚

Newly reopened and has many water features for the children 0-12. Water is shallow enough for even crawlers to enjoy. What I like about this place is that there's a gantry and screening -- you can only enter if you have a child below the age of 12 with you. Nparks staff are alert and will deny entry if you don't. Minusing a star for 1- the lack of seating areas (for accompanying adults or to park strollers/items). 2- Changing area is also pretty open and I would prefer a more enclosed one. 3- When it rains, your best bet is to exit via the entrance for shelter or wait it out at small batch, the cafe nearby. There are no shelters within the play area. But all in all, my toddler really enjoyed the space. We'll be back hopefully on a quieter weekday.

This was such a treat. The sand play area by the tree house was awesome. The wild chickens running around are lovely. And the water splash play area was great, it had changing rooms there and was so easy amd everyone had fun. The parking is also so close and easy to get to and the kid friendly restaurant was lovely. Highly recommended and will definitely come back again.

It is very good park for children and toddlers with lots of fun activities to do. My toddler really enjoyed the water park area and trampoline. Be careful about wild chicken and monitor lizard in the forest area.

An amazing place to visit with kids! Make sure you have enough time to check out more of the botanical gardens! The National Orchid Gardens are incredible! But also th walk in between was really cool!

In Singapore, where there are few opportunities to interact with nature, this park, where children can play safely and securely, is extremely valuable. I think the fact that you can only enter the park if you have children with you is a great fit with the concept, as it helps prevent various problems.

🧚🤽Located next to the Eco Lake, Jacob Ballas Children's Garden in Botanic Gardens is a playground specially designed for children. 🛝🪣There are many interesting and fun places within the Children's Garden itself, like the Tree House and Slides, Sandplay area, Flying Fox (Zipline), and etc. 🚿🩳But, the main attraction is undoubtably the Water Playground. Little ones will definitely have a great time here. Great family time together. 🍔🧋🚻Within the Children's Garden is an eatery and a toilet. ✅Entry is free. Adult have to be with children to enter. 🅿️Parking lots are available at the Children's Garden entrance area. 🚝A few minutes walk from Botanic Gardens MRT Station by Circle Line or Downtown Line. ⛔Close on Monday. But will be open, if it's a PH.

Free and good, no complaints!! children below age of 10 will normally love it!! Water splashing fun!!
