Delicious and Divine. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and compassionate. There is something for everyone, even lactose free cheese which will blow your mind. Thank you for making my visit worthwhile and look forward to my return to enjoy some more tasty treats.

It was such an experience coming here! First of all, the staff is sooo nice and helpful. I got help without asking, they addressed my needs, made great recommendations, and with the most wholesome and caring attitude. Secondly, the selection here is impeccable and niche. I love the cheese counter and the bakery, but also the cute little trinkets they have. I got the most beautiful ceramic coasters that are simply stunning. The workers have great knowledge in their area, I asked for specific cheese recommendations and got a great selection. This is the kind of place that even if you don’t have anything in mind, you will still love to come and browse and interact with the very friendly staff.

Nice shop with a lot of assortment of specialty products. Perfect for original gifts or quality items for an occasion! Good selection of cheeses! Friendly staff.

Google
What a nice little shop! They have so many fun ingredients and products. The cheese counter is incredible and there’s also a lovely selection of pastries! The staff are all smiles and it’s just a lovely specialty shop for a treat or some gifts. The prices are not insane considering these aren’t the usual grocery store items, but because everything looks so good you might end up with quite a bill!

Google
Has a great assortment of food and pantry items. Great to check out if you are looking for gifts or food for entertaining. It is a smaller store so it does get very busy inside however. Not super accessible. The prices are also high but comparable to other shops like this

A fine cheese and related items shop in Ottawa. Nice modern decor and lots of different products to choose from. Great job on the expansion and move the building looks great. I have shopped there several times. A good place to find some cheeses you wouldn't typically run into at the grocery store.

This was my first time going, I received a gift card at Christmas time. I was blown away when I walked in, it was amazing. The amount of products available for every occasion and the knowledgeable staff they have not to mention how nice they are. The items I ended up getting did not disappoint!! My friend and I couldn't get enough!! I love the cheese wall and all the choices they have. I look forward to my next visit!

The Cheese of the Month club has been an excellent, new experience to get introduced to the world of fine cheeses and charcuterie accompaniments. I highly recommend trying the Cheese Club or going here for rich cheese. The items are fresh and of high quality 👌. Customer service is also very responsive to deliver same day or next day local delivery. Looking forward to the next month's box as well as reordering some of my newly discovered gourmet favorites!

Yelp
What an arrogant store!!! This store needs to improve their customer service and staff attitude overall towards customers. Buy ridiculously overpriced items at your own risks!! This store should review their no return policies on clearly sealed unopened items. This store is not worth the price!

Yelp
Super fancy store.. from the front looks very elegant and so does the inside! It smelled like string cheese once we entered but then u get used to it! They carry different local brands all us eat one roof.. bread from maman clafoutis , macaroons from quelque chose , and so on.. so it's nice but expensive.. I'm hoping post Covid they will have a spot to sit and enjoy a treat or coffee because it's a very nice space!

Yelp
Jacobsons has a lot of specialty food items that you won't find anywhere else. It is great for picking up something interesting on the way to a dinner party. There are lots of dips, dressings, oils and sauces along the walls of the stores. There is a huge display of gourmet chocolates and another display with cheeses. There are samples scattered around the store of antipasto type items (cheese, meats, croustinis). You could find lots of gifts for a food-lover friend here, from wooden serving items, glasses and large mixing bowls, kitchen towels and mitts, just to name a few ideas. Another section of the store has jewelry (some made by a jewelry designer who designed a necklace for Sarah Jessica Parker in Sex and the City!). There are also candles and many fine home items. A woman who was working in the store took me on sort of a tour of the store and was very knowledgeable and helpful about everything. She was very enthusiastic. Great service and great options.

Yelp
A fine, fine selection! Jacobson's does not carry every item from product lines, they choose the best offerings for you. So the shelves have offerings of the 'favourite things' of the owner and the ladies who work there. Personal favourites: Duchy organics fennel tea; rosette de lyon chardonnay or herbed salami; caramel chocolate enrobed pistachios; art-is-in bread; la sauvagine cheese; frozen spinach pizza. They have added a fine selection of frozen foods. The ladies working there are all very helpful, and you will delight in the cheeses, all available for sampling.

Yelp
This is a cool store if you want a nice, high end gift for someone who loves food. They have a large range of specialty items, especially from England, and gourmet fresh and frozen snacks in addition to hand made chocolates, artisan cheeses and bread (Art is In. Yum!) They also sell kitchen gadgets and some home decor. I'm sure I'll be back to Jacobson's, which is normally enough for a fourth star from me, but I had a hard time going above three stars because it is quite expensive. For things that you could find at other stores in Ottawa you can almost certainly get a better price by shopping elsewhere. If you are not on a budget, though, and want to be able to go to one store and find something for someone who loves their kitchen then I'd be shocked if you couldn't a very nice gift for whoever is on your list. (I'm a student, so my time is still worth less than my money and I shop around.) I will say, though, that the staff at Jacobson's is *extremely* friendly, knowledgable and helpful - and this earns them the fourth star. I was extremely satisfied with the customer service on both of my visits. I bought rilettes and patés (that I otherwise couldn't find without making a trip to Quebec) and beautiful chocolates, all as Christmas gifts which were wrapped wonderfully by the staff. I can't make Jacobson's a regular part of my shopping routine, but it's good to know that it's around.

Yelp
An eclectic purveyor of delectable cheeses, fine jams, chutneys, prepared foods, chocolates, housewares right down to the fabulous bling! It's always a delightful experience for the eyes and the senses. Great, patient and knowledge staff. A real gem in the heart of Beechwood Village.

Yelp
All is fine at this pricey store--until it's not. When I returned an expensive yet under-baked, inedible loaf of bread I got neither an apology nor another loaf of bread, just attitude and arguments. I won't be back

Yelp
This little boutique store is fantastic. I really like their selection of great cheeses and chocolates. I have tried other places but keep coming back here for the selection and service. The lady behind the counter is very helpful when I need a hand choosing cheese to serve with various wines and other foods. They also sell artisan bread but you need to get there early to get it as it sells quickly. The don't just sell food. There is a selection of cards, kitchen stuff and jewellery too. It's best to park on a side street and walk over.
