"This stylish food hall in Long Island City has brought together a solid lineup of stalls run by some of the city’s buzziest chefs, including Lotus and Cleaver, a Cantonese barbecue bowl spot from the team behind Wayla and Kimika. Don’t miss acclaimed pastry chef Ghaya Oliveria’s all-day cafe, where she is turning out an expertly layered ham-and-cheese mille-feuille that recently caught the attention of Eater critic Ryan Sutton." - Eater Staff

Dan Kluger Opens His Long-Awaited Penny Bridge in Long Island City - Eater NY

"Dan Kluger, the celebrated chef behind Loring Place in Greenwich Village, is set to open his long-awaited second restaurant this week. Penny Bridge is the latest addition to the flashy Jacx mega-development in Long Island City, whose nearby food hall is home to businesses from popular chef JJ Johnson and pastry star Ghaya Oliveira. Penny Bridge is a step in a new direction for Kluger, if not in terms of its menu then at least in its appearance. Loring Place, with its seasonal approach to American fare, is nestled on a cozy street in Greenwich Village, while the new restaurant sits across from a City Acres Market in a high-ceilinged corner of the Jacx development. Penny Bridge will only be available for takeout and delivery when the restaurant opens on January 22." - Luke Fortney

Google
Great food court! If you get there at the right time you can find seating for sure. Enjoyed the various vendors and loved that the place felt a bit more upscale than one would imagine for a food hall. Thoughtfully designed and decorated. I'm excited to try all the different vendors at some point. This time around we opted for Nikko sushi which had quite an assortment of boxes and combination of sushi. We went with a combination of spicy salmon, spicy tuna, spicy crab, and yellowtail and jalapeno. The sushi was good! And a good price for ~$20 for 16 pieces. I've seen pictures of the quesadillas from Mexoco that look delicious as well - have to try that next! Worth a visit if you're in the downtown LIC area

Google
Loved the addition of this food hall to LIC! The restaurant options range from pizza, sandwiches, Thai, Mexican, and Mediterranean, sushi and more. They also have a bar. There is plenty of seating and the ambiance is beautiful for a date night or a night out with friends. I got the steak quesadilla and my boyfriend got the steak tacos and we really enjoyed both items. You can order food from a QR code on the table and you’ll get a text or email when your food is ready. You can also go up to the counter as well.

Google
Really cool environment, very casual place to eat and hang out and get some drinks. Chicken tortilla soup from Méxology, curry puffs from Le Thai, and the Fellini Bruschetta from Alidoro are great for starters' nice small portions.

Gabrielle McCalister

Google
This was one of my favorite stops on our trip to New York. There was something for everyone and the atmosphere was great-plenty of seating, great decor, and friendly service. We enjoyed a variety of meals from several of the restaurants. The pizza wasn’t New York-style but it was delicious! Friendly tip-save your receipt! You’ll need a code from the bottom to access the restrooms downstairs.

Google
It's spacious, has a nice vibe, and offers plenty of seating, making it a comfortable spot to relax. There's loud music and alcohol, NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN. However, the current food stalls are just okay, and there's a clear need for more variety and higher quality options. Given the large Asian communities nearby, expanding the selection to include more diverse Asian cuisines would be a huge improvement.

Nat T.

Google
A comfortable food court with wide variety of choices from Thai to Pizza and a bar. We opted for Le Thai, a Thai restaurant, and were not disappointed. The cashier was so friendly and makes great recommendation. The food was delicious and filling. A good stop for hearty meal!

Google
30% off sushi after 7pm, and heaping 2-3 protein platefuls of Chinese food are available here! And also a cafe but they're not the star. Good grocery shopping options as well.

Google
The food here was amazing. The service was good. The environment was really good. I really like the music, the clean tables. The cleaned environment would really recommend it for people to come here and it's only a few minutes away from my home.

Yelp
This is easily one of the fanciest food halls I've ever visited! It was down the street from the hotel I was staying at so my boyfriend and I decided to check it out. I'm so glad we did because it has a beautiful interior and plenty of good options. There are less than 10 spots in it but there's definitely something for everyone from pizza to Mexican to sushi. My boyfriend opted for some empanadas from Mexology - a Mexican eatery - and I ordered a roll from Sushi Nikko, which is located upstairs. Both the sushi and empanadas were delicious! A great option if you're in the area and with a group with diverse tastes!
google avatar

Ronit M.

Yelp
Different kind of space. Very open middle with lots of food vendors around the perimeter of the interior space and a sushi section on the second floor. Ample seating areas, which probably makes this a hopping area for lunch and dinner. There's a bar off to the right when facing the entrance from the outside. I'm not sure if there is service where they will bring you the food. The vendor I went to, I waited for the food and walked with a tray to my group's table. The chairs are somewhat comfy. And I hope to be back sometime to try a beverage from the bar! Happy eats!

Yelp
I stumbled upon Jacx&Co entirely by accident while in the LIC area for my sister's work. Curiosity got the best of me as I was drawn in by the upscale and cool interior - surprise, it's a food court! This is definitely one of the prettiest and most sophisticated food courts I've seen in Queens. The space is super spacious, with plenty of tables available when I visited during the afternoon. The high ceilings and a second floor with even more seating make it feel airy and comfortable. I'd highly recommend this spot for a casual group meetup with friends. It's perfect for hanging out and chatting in a relaxed setting. The variety of food options is impressive; you can find a little bit of everything to satisfy your cravings.

Yelp
This place has reminds me of a nice food court. A variety of choices and a very welcoming ambiance. Plenty of seating and a unique vibe. I came here for lunch and it wasn't as busy as I thought it would be but it seems like a nice place to check out during dinner.
google avatar

Fred T.

Yelp
Apparently a recent edition to the food court that is part of this mixed use high rise. decent selection of mixed drinks and a small nice comprehensive selection of draft beer. Service was on point and it was nice to get a beer with my burger

Yelp
I visited Jacx&Co on a Friday night and found the space ideal for getting a group together - lots of appealing eateries, and the ability for each person to order individually from the table and get what they want - from fried chicken to Mediterranean bowls to burgers to sushi. I opted for the fried chicken and was not dissatisfied with my Nashville sandwich - a good subtle but hot spice, well breaded breast with solid pickles. I also ordered one of the cocktails (a sazerac) and it was served neat although you could customize that. Not the best sazerac I have ever had but good. You can order from the counters but my advice is to go through the app - it works much smoother.
google avatar

Cece Y.

Yelp
Casual, convenient food hall with a nice ambiance. Not the biggest food hall I've seen, so there are less than 10 restaurant options, but still good. You can also order from any restaurant from any table via QR code -- they'll then bring your order to your table. Clean BRs downstairs.
google avatar

Rina D.

Yelp
This is a nice food court with good ambiance with a variety of food options, but it is pretty pricey and the food was just decent. You can order from each of the counters or through the app, whichever you prefer. It's a good places to meet up with friends for a casual meet up with good vibes!
google avatar

Tiffany S.

Yelp
A tasty variety of different cuisines all with the convenience of close proximity! We got: MÉXology: Prickly pear rose lemonade Market Vegetable Empanada Beef Barbacoa Empanada Sour Cream Paper Plate: Crinkle Cut Fries Extra Sauce BobWhite Counter: Coleslaw Taïm (my personal favorite): Falafel+Tahini Lotus + Cleaver: Cucumber Sesame Salad Sushi Nikko: Tuna Cucumber Roll Spicy Mayo

Yelp
Jacx&Co has an upscale atmosphere with a great selection of food. You won't get the most delicious or cheap food here, you'll get somewhat fairly priced decent food for your lunch break. I come to Jacx when I don't have any other options because the food at all of the stalls is consistent. I would like to see flavors tuned up just a bit, to match other food courts in Manhattan

Yelp
I love the concept of these food halls. There is something here for everyone. My posse and I met up here and enjoyed burgers, fries, drinks, and small noshes. I found a table and ordered my food on the app, I entered my table number and everything was brought to me. Came here around dinner time so it wasn't that busy but imagine it's really busy at lunch time. Great place to meet with friends and have a meal, some drinks, and a great ambiance.

Yelp
Had high hopes walking in. Pretty neat concept and I like the layout. First I opted to try the bar. But that ended up being enough of a turn off to make me seek to eat elsewhere. Pulling up at the bar, I sat... and sat... and sat- waiting for the dude behind the bar to even look at me. It was a good 5 minutes. My personal ejection limit is 10 minutes. I'm guessing it took about 7 for him to stop ignoring me and ask if I wanted something. When I asked a question- he got all pissed off and walked away. It's like - Dude- if you can't handle the pressure of tending - then go work the floor or something. Anyway I blurted out an order and he came back with it. But he doesn't have time for any kind of question. Then he forgot what I ordered when I asked for the bill (I wasn't gonna order anything else there after the attitude). So- he asked what I had!? I could have just walked away - but that's not how I like to roll. Anyway- there are so many options nearby that I don't need to come back. If I'd matched the profile of others he was giving a lot of attention to - then maybe my experience would have been different. Never got to try the food.

Yelp
I'd rate Jacx & Co three and a half stars. The dining space is very nice. Probably one of the nicest looking food courts that I've come across. Easy ordering system. You can order through their website or at each vendor. The bar there had a bunch of drafts including some local, craft options. Great place to meet up with small groups where everyone grabs their own items and then congregates at a table.
google avatar

Christina V.

Yelp
Love that there's a guy waiting to clean up. It just makes it feel more like a restaurant. That being said, he took the trays from another table but didn't clean it. Overall lots to choose from and the bar helps to make it NOT feel like a typical food court. Like the different seating options. Looks like there's sushi upstairs. We got the red braised beef bowl from lotus, it was a little fatty and the quiche and apple turnover from ghaya. Would definitely return.
google avatar

Hunter S.

Yelp
This is an airy, trendy food court that I really enjoyed. I had taim, which is Mediterranean food (reviewed separately), but this spot also has a stylish bar with elevated cocktails. Additionally, this spot boasts Lotus and Cleaver (Japanese bbq), Jia (dim sum), Ghaya (James Beard awarded pastries), Mexology (tacos, Mexican), and Beebe's (pizza). So if you're with a group, this might be a good idea because there is something for most palates. The dining space is stylish and has multiple seating arrangements to accommodate many types of parties. Tables for two, tables for six or more, half booth/half tables, bar seating. All open for all. I would try all of these places and liked hanging out in the common area.

Yelp
I love a good food hall and to have one so close to home here in Queens makes it so much better to love. There's a huge bar that opened recently on the main floor and I'm in love! I actually have plans to go back next week to catch up with some friends. It's a great spot to get drinks w/ friends, grab dinner, or get a few different snacks to go. Besides recommending you getting the Queens Gold cocktail at the bar I really enjoyed the following food options from the different vendors: - Beebes - get the white pizza , it's spicy , it's cheesy, it's delish - Ghaya - this place shines in the morning and has INCREDIBLE croissants! The pistachio one is my favorite. - Biao Sugar - new to the food hall , get the brown sugar boba - Temakase - also new to this food hall, you gotta try the hand rolled sushi and the crispy rice here is on point. - Mexology - just go here for the street corn! Do not leave this place w/o trying it - Lotus + Clever - the pork belly here is divine (if you are into park belly)
google avatar

Yelp
It's very Clean food court. great vibes. you'd feel like you're in the Hotel lobby. Bathroom is in the basement. (There's No sign unless you ask) couch seats or table seats are available. Infront of the Subway stations / bus is available. Super convenient for the rainy or snowing day during the Winter time. From Manhattan blooming deals, it's going to be Only 1stop by Bus. it's worth to come here!

Yelp
Jacx & Co. is a cute little food court I stumbled across while staying in Long Island city. It is a great spot to grab a meal and drinks with a group because they have many different food options. There are about 8 restaurants you can order from the counter at then grab a table with your group and head to the bar for cocktails, beer, wine, etc., pleasing every appetite! Don't forget there is a sushi restaurant upstairs as well, that's a little hidden. Highly recommend this spot for a group!
google avatar

Tiffany F.

Yelp
A new, higher-end food hall located in Long Island City (4.5 stars). There are more or less 10 different eateries located inside this food hall (dine-in/to-go). You can also sit down at a table and order via a QR code that's associated with each table and have the food brought out to you (but why not just order it yourself at the storefront). Food ranges from $12 to $20 (excluding the sushi place) which is pretty good for NY prices. The lunch that I ordered from Lotus + Cleaver was only $15 base cost; it was filling and delicious. Others: - ample seating, a great place to work - located right outside the Queens plaza metro station - a security guard will check your ID and vaccination card - you will feel very safe working on your laptops here; there are other security guards/managers who occasionally circulate the area (they politely escorted a man who looked up to no good out) Definitely worth visiting at least once!
google avatar

Raphael P.

Yelp
Really cool and super informal food hall with tons of food choices and drink options. Great place to casually meet up with a group of friends. Place is seat yourself. Highly recommend the Chinese restaurant as well as the cocktails from the main bar. Clean and lots of seating available.
google avatar

Lucy L.

Yelp
Beautiful atmosphere. Free wifi for guests with password. People sit and do work, amazing for groups, amazing for on the go, and upscale cafeteria vibe. I love this food court. It has so many seating options. The vibe is nice. Some are dressed nice, and some just seem like they are stopping by, and it's just a wide range. There's a lot of options of food since its a food court. The bar is stunning. There's great happy hour deal. I really like this place.
google avatar

Theodosios C.

Yelp
Food Hall. NO PURCHASE. Originally came down here to get some Burgers & Fries at PAPER PLATE. However, they do not accept Cash. My next choice was to go to BOB WHITE COUNTER who are well known for their Chicken Sandwiches. Never got around to eating at their ALPHABET CITY location last year. They do accept Cash but I left the Food Hall 'cause I specifically wanted to eat at 2 places at this 1 location with Burgers & Chicken being my preferred choice of Food. Other Vendors at the Food Hall specialize in MEDITERRANEAN, CHINESE, ITALIAN, MEXICAN and JAPANESE fare. I might stop by next time prepared with a Gift Card to make a purchase with those Vendors who do not accept Cash. Easily accessible from the QUEENSBORO PLAZA Subway Station taking less than 10 minutes to walk to the Food Hall. RECOMMEND.
google avatar

Anna J.

Yelp
I visited here a few times. Once when it was still new and recently. The place is huge and has many seating. I especially appreciate how clean it is and well maintained. My experience here compared to the first time was not too far different as it has stayed well maintained and the food options are a mix of cuisines. I also notice some stores that was here is no longer. I find the service for the places I've ordered to be decent. The food is a hit or miss depending where and what you order. If you're a traveler and visit NY, they are near many hotels which is convenient as they have wifi available.
google avatar

Josephine L.

Yelp
Well, now. LIC has had quite the glow-up over the past decade, and like a reborn diva on her comeback tour, is here to prove that it's better than ever. Case in point: Jacx&Co. I have no idea why it's spelled that way (and don't care enough to look it up), but if you're into sleek, trendy, high-end food halls along the lines of The Hugh, you'll like this spot. Half the stalls offer East Asian fare, so if you don't like that stuff (what's wrong with you?), maybe avoid coming here. Otherwise, there's tons of seating and good acoustics for any kind of dining conversation--whether it's an awkward break-up speech, a gabby catch-up with friends, or a weird reunion with an old boss.
google avatar

Yelp
Honestly really good deal, on top of very good food. The court was really nice, lots of good options and everyone I went with was pretty satisfied with what they got. I ended up getting the Mediterranean place in the back left (I forget the exact name) but it was honestly a steal for how full I am and for how good it tasted. I got a falafel bowl with rice+cumin and hummus as the base. On top I got pickles, pickled onions, chickpeas, the salad thingy and zatar croutons. All the toppings I got were free! And honestly made it amazing. Even without the falafel it was super solid. Highly recommend the zatar croutons and the pickled onions. Falafel were really good too, couldn't really tell the difference between the green vs harissa version but both are v solid. The whole meal was around 11 dollars which is amazing. Super satisfied with this place would definitely go again.
google avatar

Sara W.

Yelp
Got the chicken shawarma at jacx and co! I forget the exact name of the shop that does the Mediterranean bowls, but for appx $13 for a bowl, it's not a bad price. It's decent and filling, and a quick bite to go. I do like the atmosphere of jacx and co and would come back with a laptop or journal. It's one of the more "modern" food halls. They also have a second level for seating.
google avatar

Nathan N.

Yelp
As food courts go this is one of the best Ive been to. Clean roomy comfortable and good options. We love Taim - a lot of different tastes and a fair price for a big portion.
google avatar

Victor H.

Yelp
Came here to hang out with friends. This place felt like a food court with multiple food offerings: Asian, Mexican, American, etc. It had a standalone bar. Quite enjoyable and nice ambiance. Felt just OK tho...
google avatar

Albert K.

Yelp
Tons of food choices and really good boba shop. Quite expensive for the Chinese dumpling station. Free water, tons of seating, and they bus your trays for you. Excellent food hall.
google avatar

Lillian L.

Yelp
One of the nicest looking upscale food courts around. Super high ceilings and modern interior decor. Lots of beautifully designed seating. Prices are a bit on the high side. An interesting place to check out if you have never been. Nine eateries to choose from: Mexican, vegetarian, rice bowls, pizza, Italian, pastries, Crif hot dogs and sushi (plus omakase). Mexology: chef Ivy Stark's casual Mexican Taim: popular falafel chain Lotus and Cleaver: casual Chinese from Wayla and Kimika Beebe: thin-crust pizzeria Fieldtrip: chef JJ Johnson's acclaimed rice bowls Ghaya: Tunisian cafe from James Beard award pastry chef Ghaya Oliveira Kissaki: sushi/ omakase Crif Dogs: creative hot dogs, burgers, tater tots Al Volo: serves paninis, arancini, and more Your temperature is checked upon entering the door. Indoor seating for 215 people. No outdoor seating. A long beautiful looking bar, off to the right, serves craft beers and curated wines. Caution: Be careful of the few steps all around the dining area. Tried out Kissaki sushi. Located on the 2nd floor. Stairs are at the back of the food court. Their sushi was awesome!

Migdalia M.

Yelp
A unique food court with a variety of food choices, visited twice once to the best chicken at Bob White Counter, and had the chicken tenders with fries. The staff was awesome, and friendly, quality and pricing were great. Second, was Alidoro for breakfast delicious, once again friendly staff and great food.
google avatar

Hsin-Yi W.

Yelp
Jacx&Co is a newly opened food court in LIC and definitely a excited adding in the neighborhood. The decor is modern and beautiful with cozy ambiance and lots of greens. It's not a humble food court, there are staff available helping and serving. The options are not various but decent from salad, rice bowl, pizza, Mexican and Japanese ... etc. Customers can easily place their order by scanning the QR codes on the table and would be served. We had a Quesadilla platter from Mexology and a Hamachi over rice Bento from Kissaki . The wait wasn't too bad and the food was overall okay. However, it's a little pricy as a weekday lunch for us. Jacx&Co is still worth a try once.
google avatar

Shie S.

Yelp
Great food court in LIC. Love the ambiance and various choices that this place offers. It has an elegant feel to it and staff was courteous. I tried the Mediterranean meal here, its not bad.
google avatar

Mike C.

Yelp
Awesome new food hall just opened in LIC, with lots of excellent vendors and a really nice big space. Unfortunately no outdoor seating right now, but plenty of stuff you can grab to go if you're not down with eating indoors yet. So far I tried the excellent bowls from Lotus & Cleaver, from the Wayla team, and also great stuff from the second location of Chef JJ's Fieldtrip.
google avatar

Jenny K.

Yelp
Visited this high-end food hall in my neighborhood LIC. The location is right next to Queens Plaza subway station. The place is huge with a wide range of food, this food hall has 8 eateries (Chinese, Mediterranean, Mexican, etc.). We were looking for a quick lunch and decided on the soup dumplings from 'Jia' and L+C fried rice from 'Lotus+Cleaver' The dumplings were five pieces for $14, so a little bit on the pricier side, I think. The fried rice we got was very flavorful (lots of protein and veggies) and had an earthy flavor? I think it's from the 8-grain rice they are using, which I didn't mind! The price ($15) was very reasonable for the portion because it was HUGE. I took a star off because both of the food came out late so we had to finish our dishes quicker than we expected. However, I would definitely come back to try other foods at Jacx and Co.
google avatar

Brian L.

Yelp
Having a food hall in LIC brings excitement to the neighborhood. It opens during the 2nd wave of the pandemic but they have guidelines in place for your safety, like temperature checks before entering and spacing of available seats. They make the best out of the size and space that's available, by selecting a diverse amount of vendors to satisfy your cravings. Fieldtrip was my main stop. The fried fish bowl with tartar sauce was good. Enough to fill you up, a nice piece of fish, with brussel sprouts and sweet potatoes. Price point was fair. Next stop was Crif dogs to grab a side of nacho tots. Presented well, crispy tots and your usual whiz and beef chili toppings. The pineapple mint lime smoothie at Taim was refreshing. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the neighborhood. I hope the area keeps expanding. A great addition to LIC.

Jordan M.

Yelp
Really love the ambiance in here and the different food options, love coming during happy hour (even if the prices aren't so happy lol) and grabbing some Dinner and a glass of wine. Plenty of seating
google avatar

Kathleen X.

Yelp
A slightly upscale food court with some solid options. I got the sushi box from Sushi Nikko. It was slightly overpriced but the nigiri was fresh and the miso soup hearty. You can order at an iPad kiosk or in person, and it's an open layout so you can choose your own seat (either in the restaurant or in the common area). I'd definitely come back to try out some of the other spots like Bobwhite Counter.
google avatar

Tiffany W.

Yelp
As a Long Island City resident I've been looking forward to The Jacx opening for a year and was super excited to finally check it out! There is a wide assortment of food vendors there's (Italian, Mexican, Japanese, Mediterranean) that will satisfy your tastebuds! The interior is also beautiful and following covid guidelines. The price range is $12-$16 on average for a bowl or entree, which was worth it for the portion sizes. Top to bottom: Custom bowl with side (massive bowl) of French fries from Taim, al pastor salad bowl from Mexology, custom bowl from Lotus + Cleaver
google avatar

Kelsey A.

Yelp
This is a really, really fun spot. All the eateries are good and the variety means that everyone will find something they like. I love the tacos from MÉXology and the bowls from lotus and cleaver are delicious every time. There's really nice seating. It's a great place to pick up a quick lunch or to sit down alone or with friends and enjoy a meal.
google avatar

Heather C.

Yelp
Awesome little food court for an upscale, break-from-the-office lunch! I came with a few coworkers and landed on Taim, the Mediterranean offering. I ordered the cauliflower bowl with a few fixings and a salad base. Overall, it was really flavorful but had way too many pickled onions that it overwhelmed the dish. There was a lot of hummus as well and it drowned the rest a little bit. I can't knock them that much because it was still a great tasting meal! Prices are a little high but it's a cool concept with couches and a bar. I'll for sure be back to try some of the other vendors!
google avatar

Yelp
They actually check to see if you have your vaccine card or passport right at the front. I know most restaurants aren't really checking until September 13th. This hall/cafeteria has different food options available and you can either do take out or dine-in. I've been going to check out the boba tea place as it's their grand opening and have a bogo deal going on and to use their restroom which is in the basement. Their restroom is really clean which is a plus. Everyone is very diligent about their masks which is great. All customers and employees wear it.

Yelp
Used to live in JP across the street and have been enjoying various eateries here since it opened. This review has nothing to do with the food. The food is great. Unfortunately, there have now been two instances where an order was placed online via the Jacx & Co website (not via Grubhub or Seamless) that were not able to be fulfilled. The first time, I selected delivery on the website as it offers pickup or delivery. The food was apparently made but went missing. When my husband went to find out what happened, he was told jacx and co does not offer delivery at all and it was a glitch. No problem, but you should probably remove it from the website as an option so people don't keep clicking on it and assume their food is going to be delivered... The second time was today (July 4th, 2023). Placed an order for Bobwhite and received a text confirmation. Went to go pick it up and the building was locked and closed. Yes, it's a holiday, but why is the website allowing me to place an order if the entire building is closed? Also, why doesn't Yelp or the Jacx and Co website say it is closed for the holiday? By the way, today when I placed this order, it still offers delivery or pickup, so that issue from several months ago hasn't been corrected. Finally, there is nothing on the website that shows me how to request a refund. When you click on help it takes you to the Bbot website but I still can't find anything to take me to a page where I can raise an issue. I suppose we will simply need to submit a dispute with the CC company to get it back as I don't see any other way to get this process started. Will try to call tomorrow, regardless. Kindly fix the website. Thank you.

Yelp
The next step in making LIC a self-contained bubble for the well heeled is a luxury food hall, replete with hot and new eateries, including an omakase counter. It's one of the nicest food halls I've been to, and it's not just the omakase counter that elevates the place-- though indoor dining is banned for now, you can appreciate the high ceilings, leather back chairs, and lush greenery around the space that make it a gorgeous building unto itself. The vendors are also excellently curated, with celebrated LIC pizzeria Beebe's, Harlem's rice-centric eatery Fieldtrip, and Kimika's fast casual concept Lotus & Cleaver taking center stage and whose reputations are strong enough to draw people who live outside of Queens to pay a visit. If you're like me and don't find yourself in LIC often enough to try all the vendors over the course of multiple visits, I'd advise bringing a friend or two and splitting a bunch of orders from the restaurants that stand out to you. A pie from Beebe's is a great bet, as is a rice bowl from Fieldtrip or from Lotus & Cleaver. You can get a stand out falafel sandwich from taim or a hot dog from Crif Dogs and leave happy, bellies full and a new NYC food hall under your belt.

Yelp
My husband and I decided to take a walk to Jacx & Co on a winter Sunday for lunch and boy am I glad we did. Upon walking in the front door, someone is standing there to take your temperature and of course right now because of the indoor dining restrictions in NYC, you can not eat inside, everything is to go. The food hall has a bunch of great options, Sushi, Pizza, Italian, etc. I decided to order at Mexology. I ordered the Vegan Chorizo Quesadilla which was $19. A little pricey in my opinion, however IT WAS DELICIOUS!!!! They definitely did not mis a beat when it came to flavor!!! I will definitely re-visit Mexology and some of the other places inside, especially since it's in my neighborhood!!!

Yelp
*** 4.5 stars *** Gorgeous, high-end food hall that opened November 2020 in a sleek new building that also houses an upscale supermarket, by the EMR Queens Plaza subway station. At the center of the lofty space is a variety of seating arrangements: large communal tables, standard two or four tops, banquettes, and spacious lounge chairs. If dining in, get a temperature checked at the door and fill out contact information (just the first visit) with the door staff. Take a seat, scan the table QR code to pull up the menus for all the eateries in the food court after inputting a table number (https://jacxandco.menu), then place and pay for an order. Relax as the staff bring water, silverware, and the food/drinks. Or, order right at the eateries, which ring the periphery. Current tenants are expansions of existing places (Taim, Field Trip, Crif Dogs, Beebe's, Mexology, Al Volo, Kissaki), or projects from chefs (Lotus + Cleaver, Ghaya). It's a diverse mix, and one can build a meal from multiple places. Kissaki is the lone eatery located in the mezzanine, with sweeping views of the food court, and offer omakase sushi at a counter and a few tables. The Jacx&Co bar is located right in the seating area but is not yet open; no eatery at the food hall currently sells alcohol, including Kissaki, but is probably in the works. Clean, sleek restrooms are located on the lower level; Kissaki has their own restroom. Jacx&Co is a very attractive, modern food hall in LIC. Experience is luxe, and pricing is commensurate. It's a great place to go for a quick or leisurely meal, or with a few people to socialize. Takeout available from every eatery too.

Yelp
Opening an indoor food court during a pandemic is a risky bet, but I can honestly say it's one of the best food courts in NYC. Sure, it's in Jando's borough of Queens, but barely. Lots of choices for everyone - some grain/rice bowls, pizza, Mexican/tacos, some vegetarian fare, and omakase sushi upstairs. My friend and I went pretty HAM. Between the two of us, we got a char siu bowl from Lotus + Cleaver, skirt steak tacos from Mexology, a pepperoni/sausage/hot honey pizza from Beebe's, and an omakase set from Kissaki. Of course there was no indoor dining allowed (some staff were seated at the bar though), so we had to go elsewhere. Might I suggest Iconyc Brewing? A short drive away and they have heatlamps! All in all, the space at Jacx & Co is beautiful, and I hope they find their footing. Seems like they're aiming for the lunch crowd, which is tough right now. Speaking of tough, trying to find parking around here is hell, so good luck with that.
