Jaffer Bhai's Al Karama-The Biryani King Of Mumbai

I recently visited Jaffar Bhai Restaurant in Karama after reading numerous positive reviews and hearing a lot of hype. I ordered the mutton biryani, expecting it to be the best I've ever had. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst and most expensive biryani I've ever encountered. Priced at 40 AED, it wasn't worth even 15 AED. The dish contained three mutton bones with very little meat, making it essentially meatless. It was served with bones and potatoes only. I wouldn't recommend this place as it felt like a waste of money.

So much hype? Tried thier sheekh paratha and mutton biryani, absolutely not worth it. They served poori with sheekh kabab that had a lot of turmeric, the taste was below average. Not sure if I should even term it as biryani, I’m a foodie myself and never come across something like this. Nevermind. Maybe atleast thier other dishes are better.

Good quality authentic food. Price little high. Nice ambience. Very slow in table cleaning. Good quality deserts and must try Indian biryani. Price for soft drinks like water / coke is costlier than 5 star hotel. Not worth for the bill you pay.

Quality of meat and flavour was out of this world. Biryani was average, have tasted better. The jelebi and rabdi was a sweet combination. Suffered from food coma that afternoon.

Eventhough they are famous for their biriyani's...i tried their other favourite - kababs... Tried shami kabab and bihari kababa with rumali roti...shami kabab was really yummy....other one was oil deep fried kabab...

Jaffer Bhai’s Biriyani - Upscale Biriyani place in Dubai. Jaffer Bhai’s is a Mumbai Based Biriyani Brand. They are famous for Bombay Biriyani. Because of Dubai Food Fest they offered 1 plate Chicken biriyani only for 10 AED for the limited period. Worth deal ever you can get it from Jaffer Bhai. I have tried same quantity biriyani before from Abudhabi which costed around 30 AED. Very expensive btw. But Aroma and taste of the food is 🔥. But charging 4 aed for 1 aed water is non acceptable considering the restuarant ambience and crowd. If it is a fancy Hi 5 place I can underatand.

I have been to their Barsha branch and this was the first time in Karama. Was not much impressed though with their service or food Ambience is good. Food too a little time to arrive. Some dishes mentioned in Menu I was told are served only for Ramadan. Quality of food not as expected. All stars for the starters.
