Jaffna Heritage Hotel

One of the best places to stay in Jaffna. The environment is very soothing and the ambiance is beautiful. The property has all the necessary amenities and is well maintained. The staff are friendly, supportive, and very helpful, which made the stay even more pleasant. Beautiful architecture. The property is not allowed to offer alcohol or non vegetarian food as it is located within a 300 meter radius of the Nallur Kandaswamy Kovil. The swimming pool is medium sized not very large, but it is safe, clean, and beautifully maintained.

Highly recommend staying at this beautiful hotel in Jaffna. We really enjoyed the Tamil vegetarian breakfast - so many delicious curries, milk rice, string hoppers, vadai and more! We loved swimming in the pool and there are lots of places to sit and relax. The rooms were lovely and comfortable with beautiful high ceilings, and the service was exceptional. Perfect location to explore Jaffna. We will be back!

My family stayed here for 2 nights. We pleasant hotel, nice and quiet. 1. Staff - Niroshan - very helpful, polite and extremely courteous and friendly. 2. On our first day, we arrived very late - approximately 10pm - the hotel had called to ask if we would like to have our dinner as it was pre booked. They had kept our dinner until our arrival and staff Niroshan served with great kindness, friendliness etc. Made us feel very welcomed. 3. Food was great. Service Great. Syabas. Will Sure To Visit Again.

We arrived early in the morning by express bus, and the staff were extremely helpful from the very beginning. They promptly and kindly assisted us with every request. The food was excellent, offering authentic Jaffna flavors, and the room was very well maintained—clean, comfortable, and neatly arranged. The place looks exactly like the pictures, if not even better. Tuk-tuks are easily available from the hotel, and since it is less than 2 km from the city, walking to the city center is also quite convenient.

It truly felt like staying at home, just like back in the old days. Close to Nallur Temple. You can hear the temple bell in the early morning 🌞 The staff were excellent and provided outstanding service throughout our peaceful 3-night stay. Special thanks to “Mr. Vijay” at the front reception, who helped us from booking to checkout with great care and professionalism. The traditional Jaffna vegetarian breakfast was delicious and authentic. Highly recommended place—you won’t be disappointed!
