Visited Jaganmohan Palace in Mysore and honestly, it was such a nice experience. The palace is very beautiful from outside and inside it feels calm and royal. It has an art gallery with so many old paintings and artworks. Some of the paintings are very detailed and you can just stand there and keep looking at them. The place is well maintained and not too crowded when I went. It’s perfect if you like art, history, and peaceful places. I also got some really nice pictures there. If you are in Mysore, this is a simple and lovely place to explore for a few hours.

I visited Jagmohan Palace, and it is a beautiful and peaceful place. The art gallery is very nice, with impressive paintings and displays. The area is quiet and not crowded, so you can take your time and enjoy everything calmly. Even though there aren’t many visitors, it is definitely a must-visit spot in Mysore. The atmosphere, history, and artwork make it a special experience. I really enjoyed my visit.

Jaganmohan Palace has a reasonable entry fee and takes about an hour to an hour and a half to explore fully. The palace displays a wide range of items used by the kings — from musical instruments and games to furniture, statues, and numerous paintings of the royal family. It’s a lovely place to visit, and we really enjoyed seeing so many fascinating things. It wasn’t crowded either, which made the experience even better.

Good collection but bad maintenance! Felt really bad on how the displayed art is maintained in this gallery. Few observations & recommendations if at all someone wants to act on it. 1. Entry fee is ₹75 and there’s no UPI option. I don’t understand why this place still asks for cash while the street vendors are accepting UPI payments. 2. Quarter inch dust on all paintings, especially the frames. In any gallery, collecting precious pieces for display is just half the work. It must be preserved and maintained well forever. If not, the paintings loose the charm. There’s a whole section dedicated to beautiful paintings by Raja Ravi Verma but few are about to be torn out. 3. Photography prohibited inside the gallery. I don’t understand why because even in louvre you can take pictures of Monalisa so what’s stopping here is a mystery.

A very old and traditionally beautiful palace. You can enjoy the arts, paintings and sculptures as much as you want. Because there's no crowd at all. Plenty of parking place. 75/- person for the ticket.
