Here’s a polished and professional "best review" for a hotel — feel free to copy or customize it for your own use: --- 🌟 5-Star Hotel Review I had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed, with all the modern amenities and a stunning view. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a perfect night’s sleep. The on-site restaurant offered delicious meals with a great variety, and the breakfast buffet was a real highlight. The location was ideal — close to key attractions yet peaceful and quiet. What truly stood out was the impeccable service — every team member went above and beyond to make the stay memorable. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended to anyone seeking comfort, luxury, and top-tier hospitality! --- Let me know the hotel name or specific experience if you'd like it personalized!

The property looks like paradise but feels like a headache. The staff lacks basic manners no one is around to attend, and when they do, it’s only to irritate you.If you take a seat, the staff will simply tell you that you can’t sit there without offering any solution. Either tell guests upfront that there’s no place, or provide them a seat. Definitely not returning completely ruined the entire mood ..

Wow! We were rather late booking so there were no more rooms with lake view available but I found it not even necessary to have a lake view from the hotel room. The view from the roof top is amazing during daytime and nighttime. The building itself is so authentic and well maintained. Had a lovely dip in the pool too. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is also great: enjoy some good food with the most amazing views. Small suggestion: reserve a table during high season or the weekend. Minor -: the food is to local standards rather €€€

The place is undeniably beautiful and aesthetic — the heritage ambiance and lake view are stunning. It’s definitely a spot that catches your eye and feels peaceful at first. However, our experience was deeply affected by the behavior of the staff, particularly the waiter who was extremely rude and unwelcoming. From the tone to the attitude, it felt like we were not welcome there at all, which sadly overshadowed everything else. With such a lovely property, you’d expect the service to match — but this interaction made the overall experience quite disappointing.

Visited this hotel recently, and honestly, it’s a classic case of "all show, no substance." The interiors are definitely beautiful – well-designed, aesthetic, and perfect for photos. If you’re looking for a place just to click some Instagram-worthy shots, this could work for you. But when it comes to food , a total disappointment. The taste was below average, nowhere close to what you’d expect for the price they charge. Every dish felt bland or overly greasy, and certainly NOT WORTH THE MONEY.  I’ve had better meals at small local joints. It’s clear they’ve spent all their effort on ambience and completely ignored the quality of the food. Would I go back? Maybe for pictures. But definitely not for food.

We had a wonderful stay! The rooms had an amazing lake view and it was in a perfect location to walk to the local shops and city palace. The food was really nice and the service was even better. The wait staff were all very lovely, especially Dinesh. Thank you for the great stay.

POSITIVES: |1) Design: The hotel really is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. Every corner is photo-worthy. It is very peaceful and a beautiful place to stay.||2) Location: The location on the water is stunning and views from all levels out on the water were amazing. It's close to the centre of the old town (5 min walk to the city palace) but peaceful at the same time. Just a heads up though - the streets in the old town are very narrow so you can only get a Tuk Tuk to the hotel, not a taxi.||3) Food: Food at breakfast and the restaurant was delicious. Really good evening menu, great cocktails and the ice is safe for westerners to drink. ||4) Communal spaces: The hotel has a lot of great communal spaces, including some beautiful window seats with views right on the water. The perfect place to read and watch the world go by. ||5) Comfort: Room was a good size with good furniture, storage, and a nice and large bathroom. The toiletries provided were extensive and high quality.|||NEGATIVES:|1) Light in room: There was a little window high in our room which didn’t have a blind and meant morning and night our room was very bright. ||2) Noise: Our room was on the ground floor right on the courtyard and it was quite noisy, both in the morning but also at nighttime. ||3) Business: Due to the incredible location/views the hotel was constantly full of people posing for photos which was slightly irritating. I’m not sure if anyone can wander in but I got the impression that some of them weren’t guests at the hotel or dining either. ||4) Hot water: Hot water in the shower isn’t unlimited so you can’t have 2 medium length showers back to back without the water running cold. ||5) Onconsistent restaurant service: We ate in the restaurant both nights. One night we had good service but the other we had terrible service. We were unnecessarily sat in the back corner with no light, the table wasn’t laid properly so we had to ask for cutlery when our food came, we were only given one menu (for 2 people), and our order wasn’t taken for a long time. Not what you expect for a fairly expensive restaurant… The next night though, the service was great? ||6) Breakfast service: Service at breakfast was also mixed: our first morning we weren’t greeted so just took a table and found our own way around, and weren’t offered / didnt know we could order coffees/teas/freshly cooked items but the second morning we were offered a menu for these, so I assume that’s how the service was meant to be. The inconsistent service was disappointing. |||OVERALL: Udaipur is stunning and this is a very beautiful hotel in a great location. I’m nitpicking because for the price we were expecting a slightly better experience, but I would recommend booking here as it’s worth the experience.

We went there for lunch. Extremely overhyped and disappointing experience. Even after making a booking, you cannot choose a table of your preference. The waiters were outright rude, showing no courtesy to customers. They were even stopping and disrespecting guests who were clicking pictures if their order value was low — completely unprofessional behavior. On top of that, they were charging different cover fees to different customers for the main lake-view table, which feels unfair and opportunistic. The food itself was nothing special — lacking flavor and far from the quality you’d expect at such a place. The view may be nice, but with rude staff, inconsistent charges, and average food, it’s simply not worth the hype.
