Tasty fresh fish and seafood offerings in heart of prabhadevi. Seating coukd be more spacious but the taste compensates for it. Absolutely delicious fish. Loved it.

It’s located on the main road and easily accessible. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They serve authentic Konkan cuisine, and their North Indian menu is equally delightful. The prawns koliwada and butter naan were my favorites—absolutely extraordinary. I’ve also tried the chicken tikka biryani, basa fry, mutton sagoti thali, neer dosa, paneer tawa fry, and butter chicken. Every dish is worth trying.

Amazing dining experience. This restaurant gives you all kinds of delicacies including veg dishes, non-veg dishes as well as sea food like fish, crabs, prawns, bombay ducks and squids. I personally loved the surmai and ravas gravy with Goa vade. Yumm Yumm.

⭐ 1/5 – Extremely unhygienic experience & unacceptable response! We visited Jai Hind, Parel recently and ordered a prawns thali. To our shock, we found a strand of hair inside the prawns curry. This is a basic hygiene failure, especially in a restaurant that claims good standards. What made the situation even worse was the response from the restaurant manager. Instead of acknowledging the issue or apologizing, he casually dismissed it saying that the hair was “part of the prawns.” I clearly pointed out that I know what hair looks like — and this was definitely hair. Still, they were not ready to accept their mistake or take it seriously. Food hygiene should be a top priority, and the least a customer deserves is a respectful response and corrective action. This kind of attitude is extremely disappointing and raises concerns about the overall cleanliness of the kitchen. Would not recommend this place at all until they improve their hygiene and train their staff to handle such issues responsibly.

Sea food is amazing, specially prawns curry and neer dosa

Best place in Bombay! A lot of options, including fish. We went for the classics, butter chicken and byriani, and it was amazingly tasty and beautiful. The staff was super nice and the kitchen and staff kitchen spotless clean! And we also bring the extra food in take away bag! =) thank you!

We visited Jai Hind for team lunch. We had to wait for about 15-20 mins. We tried 4 types of Thalia- surmai thali, chicken Thali, mutton Thali and prawns Thali. Loved the ambience and taste of the seafood and non veg thalis. Pricing was also affordable. Approximately 500 per person. It’s famous for Seafood.Overall a pleasant experience
