(Tourist) Bought the tickets on the official website for about 150k. I tried to purchase it from trip.com but they only have the premium tickets which is slightly more expensive around 200k+. There are two tiers of ticket premium and basic. The basic tickets require you to queue to get the ticket in the form of a hand band with a QR code printed on in. It seem like the premium tier gets to skip the queue. I queued for about 5 mins for the ticket. At the entrance they have a photo taking service and you can purchase the photo later. You can skip to the gantry if you don't want to take a photo. It was a pretty nice walk around the indoor aquarium/safari, they have all kinds of marine life and land animals in here. Even more you can to enjoy watching the animals in an air conditioned comfortable environment. The place did not smell bad like what you would expect from a place with animals. If you are interested in feeding or interacting with the animals, there are paid service for it. There's a play and mermaid performance (in water) at certain timings in the aquarium. It was pretty entertaining, it's like little mermaid but the aquarium's version. I will post a photo of the timings in the photos (taken at Feb 2025). Overall, I spent about an hour here, it was more than what I expected for the price I paid. I don't think I can experience this with same amount of money in my country.

Fun!!! But it didn't fulfill my expectations. I thought the place gonna be so big, but it is so so. The mermaid show... I watch it from other side because the theater so full! And they said you need to wait an hour before, LOL. But overall it is a good place to healing for a while

Not recommended. Basically it's all super capitalistic. I pity all the animals, i didn't enjoy my time here. 1) "Premium" tickets for a very ordinary and poor experience. Too crowded for enjoy looking at the animals, very minimal interactions. 250k/pax, overprice for that kind of experience. 2) Additional interactions require us to pay for more money to feed the animals. But it's just feels wrong. Imagine you have to PAY just to give foods to the animals, not to mention that some of the animals seems overweight and this would relate to the 3rd point. 3) The living conditions of the animals, i dunno just seems pitiful. The space is super limited and small, not enough for them to actually like enjoying the space. Most of the time they would just sleep or sit around instead of doing activities. In addition to that, the fact that some of them seems overweight also make it more concerning. They give them foods every day and the animals just sitting around or sleeping. I am no vets, nor an animal activists or whatever but I regret to go there, supporting this kind of capitalistic lifestyle. If you are like me and just want to look at animals enjoying their lives, don't go to this kind of place. Either watch them through videos or you go out yourself to their actual habitat.

A beautiful place to relax, though the place is not as big as I expected and pretty expensive too. There are animal or mermaid shows you can enjoy at a certain time. They'll notify you when the shows are about to begin. You can also interact with some animals. I recommend visiting on weekdays, morning time for a full experience. Food tenants are available inside.

Jakarta Aquarium Safari is a popular indoor attraction located in Neo Soho Mall, but visiting during a public holiday or peak season can be overwhelming due to the extremely large crowds. The queues for the shows are often described as inhumane, making it very difficult to enjoy the experience or even see the main attractions comfortably. The space can feel cramped, and the overall atmosphere is hectic during busy times, which significantly detracts from the visit. However, on less crowded weekdays, Jakarta Aquarium Safari can actually be a great place to go, whether for a family outing or a date. The exhibits are well-maintained and the facilities are clean, with a good variety of marine life and some interactive features. That said, the educational aspect is somewhat lacking—information about the animals is limited, and different fish species are often mixed together in the same tanks, which might not appeal to those seeking a more informative or organized aquarium experience. If you plan to visit, try to avoid peak times for a much more enjoyable and relaxed experience.

This place offers a fun and educational experience with a wide variety of marine life and interactive exhibits. The layout is well-designed, making it easy to explore different sections—from beautifully lit aquariums to fun animal shows that are great for all ages. Ticket prices are worth the experience, especially if you take your time to enjoy each area. It’s clean, organized, and perfect for families, dates, or even solo visits. Bonus: located inside Neo Soho, so it’s easy to grab a meal or shop before or after your visit.

Adult category start from 6, weekdays charged 200.000 ; came during kindergarten visit, the main aquarium used for the kids to eat together, so basically cannot see through that location. Jellyfish is nearly dying. Awesome small stingray aquarium. Clean toilet, great snack inside (dorayaki). Located in neo soho, easy to access.

you must go here when you visit jakarta! a really nice place to go to. the animals look well-taken care of. Take note of the feeding time schedules because they explain things while showing how they feed the animals. You can also get a chance to feed the animals yourself (i didn't because i don't understand the language 😂). They have delicious food options inside too. There's a souvenir shop where you can buy plushies, keychains, etc. just before you exit.
