Honestly best place I’ve stayed at in Indonesia. The rooms are nicer than on pictures which was a pleasant surprise. The location was quiet but close to everything, it had bike rent on site, clean water and an excellent restaurant. Very very clean and the staff took very good care of me. Pool towels and snorkelling masks also available for free. Honestly had everything I needed, and I even extended by two days

Jali Resort is a nice boutique hotel, with 16 little cottages - being the guests rooms, which are spotless clean; the furniture is cute and one can remark that attention to details was paid. Once entering the room, masks and snorkel sets are awaiting for you free or charge. Flowers and towels, including beach towels, are nicely set on the bed. In case of need, you can rent a bike for daily 50k - which is a little above average but still fair. The highlight is the wonderful pool (narrow, but at least 25m long - you can really swim!) and the private sunbeds in front of the rooms. Being a boutique hotel, there is no breakfast buffet (we booked the room with breakfast included): it is a La Carte (served from 7 to 11 AM) and it only has the possibility to order one dish, accompanied by fruit juice, coffee and a shared fruit platter per room (we are two big men, we found the breakfast tasty but really not enough - and you cannot order anything else as extra). The service in the morning is not so careful - the waiters are often using their phones and not really caring about the guests - dishes are sometimes served with no cutlery. Nothing really bad, but when I am on vacation I personally don’t want to bother keeping on asking for the same thing. In the evening, the restaurant is always full: we did not try it, but the food must be very tasty and the service better than in the morning (otherwise I could not explain why it is always so packed: there was no empty table, and the location of the hotel is not on a Main Street - you have to look for it). On day one we needed to ask to fix the air conditioning - it was immediately done and we had no problems afterwards. Warm water was for the whole stay an issue: both in the morning and in the evening, the water was cold (in 3 days, I managed to take only one hot shower - and I say hot, as I could not have it warm. Hot or cold). A little bit a pity, because I would have loved to really enjoy the shower, which is a beautiful open-air private one. All in all, it is a cute hotel where to spend a couple of days in a chilled environment in an inexpensive hotel.

Stayed in Jali for 4 days and it was borderline perfect . Staff are so nice and bring a really nice vibe to the place. When we checked in they asked us to let them know if we wanted to have dinner 25 mins beforehand as the restaurant is extremely busy and we can see why . Food was brilliant and every single night without question it was jam packed. Great Western and Asian options . Room was lovely and comes with snorkel gear which is great as there is Marine life everywhere on the island . Great experience and staff 100 percent the highlight of the stay . Highly highly recommend .

We visited this place for dinner after reading lots of good reviews and getting excited. We didn't make reservation but as came soon (6pm) got table fast. Waiting for food bit took time, but overall service was nice and food was excellent. When menu says spicy, believe it :) Of course we tried carrot cake and it is true - it is heaven. Recommend this place for dinner!

A very beautiful hotel. Room is right where the pool is. The room is spacious and bed is comfy and the outdoor shower is very nice. It’s a little far to walk to the pier but only 10 mins cycling. The hotel has a nice restaurant too. Nothing negative really, except the outdoor shower, which is really nice but as most outdoor places, there are bugs and also there are millipedes and I can’t deal with the no legs and too many legs creatures and every time going to the bathroom and toilet is an anxiety attack for me 😅 other than that, all’s good. Staff are also very try friendly and helpful.

Great people. Great accommodation We were happy to be away from the hustle of the main road, they have bike hire so easy peasy - 5 mins to everything and quiet for sleeping. Food is fantastic as are the cocktails. We git our PADIs and it was all perfect 👌

Very nice room, clean and well decorated. Huge pool outside and only few minutes away from the beach. The staff is very friendly and gave us a seat and a free welcome drink while we were waiting for the room to be ready. Also big plus: free breakfast and free rental of snorkeling material.
