"Situated just south of Soufrière and framed by one of St. Lucia's iconic twin peaks, the Pitons, this reef-adjacent beach offers crystal-clear waters, white sand, excellent snorkeling near a vast coral reef, and access to Sugar Beach (a Viceroy Resort) while remaining a public beach open to all." - Travel + Leisure Editors
Also known as sugar beach. Snorkel inside lines. Can go to the restaurant at the hotel and walk around, swim, jump on trampoline, hammocks, water rings. Beautifully well kept.

Incredible setting between the Pitons, a lot of vendors though.

Also known s Sugar Beach. This is one of the prettiest beaches on the island. You can take a water taxi from Soufriere or drive and park at visitor parking.

Spent a great deal of our time here and off the beach while staying at Jalousie (now Sugar Beach). Kayaks, hobie cats, batwing rafts.

Now known as Sugar beach. Amazing spot, great views of the pitons, beautiful beach and hotel. Expensive hotel facilities. A bit overpriced. But clearly the nicest beach on the island. A must visit even if not a guest to the hotel.

Okay overall amazing location between the pitons with beautiful beach sand (imported white sand) and crystal clear water. Overall you cannot beat the location hands down between the 2 Pitons...the problem though is the sugar beach resort. For an island that prides themselves on being free they sure have a lot of rules and regulations here. First off for non-guest, you must be dropped of at the first gate and walk down a huge hill for 10 mins to reach the beach. Once at the beach your restricted to either purchase a spot in the corners for $100.00 or fry in the sun upfront. We dis find a spot way off to the left side under a tree that did offer some shad. So I would recommend bring a towel and don't pay the "man". The other thing is they "restrict where you can snorkel with these ropes. We of course just swam under them but again watch for boats and stay near the rocks. It's actually a pretty cool spot with underwater caves that you can explore/and see some fish near Petite Piton. Lastly be prepared to pay a high price for food. We ate at Bointe which was overall a good experience just not worth the price.
