We recently hosted our son’s first birthday and chose Jalsa to arrange the buffet—and we couldn’t be happier with that decision! From the start, the team was professional, accommodating, and truly invested in making the day special. The food was delicious and beautifully presented—every dish was a hit with both kids and adults alike. The variety in the menu ensured there was something for everyone. What truly stood out was the service. The staff was attentive, courteous, and incredibly helpful throughout the event. They made sure everything ran smoothly so we could focus on celebrating with our loved ones. Thank you, Jalsa, for making our son’s first birthday a memorable one! Highly recommend for anyone planning a family celebration or special event.

One of the best places to dine with family or friends. Food quality is top notch, though on a expensive side but it was worth it. Everything from Biryani to chicken kebabs and all the Cocktails were very good. Service was also prompt.

We visited the restaurant for a Sunday brunch. We ordered mango tequila fish kebabs,Galouti kebabs. Both tasted amazingly fresh and delicious. The cocktails are great too. The jalebi charcoal caviar was one of the best fusion desserts I've ever had. Would love to visit again. The only feedback I have is, service could have been a little faster.

Jalsa has an excellent menu. Really good, diverse options. There's something for the experimental folk, and something for the regulars as well. Great food overall, very good service - accommodating and cordial staff, prompt action. I loved my dinner experience there. However, what's very peculiar and annoying here is how Jalsa handles the payments. It felt very fishy and put a damper on at the end of our evening. They give you a photo of their billing screen. If you pay in cash, you get the exact bill. If you use discount payment apps, or cards, they alter the bill to the lower amounts to adjust for whatever amount they contribute. Possibly to save on taxes or to show lower revenue or whatever. It didn't feel like the right way to do things. Always make sure that you get your exact bill.

Located at one of the prime location in Central Kolkata, this place serve amazing Starters. Their Drinks are equally good. They have a separate room for private groups lunch/dinner. Staffs were Friendly. Service is good. Price wise bit expensive. But food was good,specially starters. Overall good experience.

Few months ago visited this place just out of curiosity since it was a new place in the city. The name and the ambience are absolutely interesting. Located at few minutes walking distance from Vardaan Market, Camac Street. Tried the following items- Bhetki sushi- it was tasty and well balanced flavours of Indian and Asian cuisine. Chicken Biryani, Popcorn drink, Baklava. Presentation of each dish was quite innovative and interesting.

I must stay it’s one of best restaurants in the town. Foods are delicious and presented in a nice way. Moreover the atmosphere of the place adds some charm when you will visit this place.

Jalsa.... "আমারা বাঙালিরা এই শব্দের অর্থ হিসেবে বুঝি ফুরটি, উৎসব, মজলিস"।... It's a perfect justification for the Bengali Meaning and Culture as well... Food lovers always crave for a good food restaurant where they can find such delicacies for their taste buds...! I can assure you... Come and visit.. You will be awestruck... And definitely come back to be mesmerized! It's a celebration for our family.. 💐 when we select them.. and we're thrilled by the taste of the food they served! We ordered Chicken tikkaa... 🍗 Mahi Kalimirch(bhetki)..🍢 Litchy kiwi iced tea.. 🍸 Gondhraj mojito.. 🥛 In main course kashmiri pulao.. 🍛 Cheese naan 🫓 Methi chicken dum 🥘 Lahori bhetki 🐟 Mutton rara gosht 🍲 Each food.... Tell its own story! I believe... We'll visit soon!
