It is am amazing place for brunch. The food is not only tasty but for the price the portion size are huge. Rarely I see such good portion sizes. They have good selection of brunch items and I will surely on my next visit try other items as all seem to be great. We tried the French Toast and the Egg Benedict. The service was amazing and very friendly. We luckily had 20 min waiting time as it was weekday and rainy day. The ambience is cozy and different but very likeable. One should surely visit it and I will do it again when back in Vancouver.

Google
I saw this place online while randomly looking for places to eat. Guys the queue is real. I did not believe it but it's real. I waited 30 minutes and got a spot at the bar. The food was really good and very quick. I got the French toast and fried chicken and it was humongous. Loved the pickles and the sauce. I can't wait to try their bowls too.

Jam Cafe is a must-visit for breakfast lovers in Vancouver. Known for its generous, comforting plates, it's no surprise that this place is a favourite among both locals and tourists. I arrived at 8:30 a.m. and was fortunate to get seated after a short wait of under 10 minutes. When I left, the line had already stretched outside — a clear sign of its popularity. I ordered the Pork Belly Benedict with avocado, and it truly lived up to the hype. The pork belly was was a bit tough for me but full of flavor, paired beautifully with the rich hollandaise and creamy avocado. A satisfying and indulgent start to the day — definitely worth the early wake-up call.

If you want a savoury or sweet breakfast or brunch, Jam Cafe is the place for you.  It has an extensive menu with creative and flavorful options and generous portions of comfort food.  Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The only challenge is the wait time, especially for large groups or with kids.  The average wait is 45 minutes.  We recommend planning accordingly. They have many signature dishes, such as pancakes, eggs benedict, chicken waffles, french toast, and delicious bowls.  Go hungry with an empty stomach; otherwise, you can check with the server for the half-order options. 📝📝 Food:  🥞🥞🥞🥞🥞 Must Try! Service: 👩‍🍳👩‍🍳👩‍🍳👩‍🍳👩‍🍳 Kids: 👶👶👶👶 Yay! (Everything was good, just a bit challenging with the wait time) Price: 💲💲💲 $50-$100 for two (brunch) Presentation: 📷📷📷 Parking: There is paid parking on the street, and many paid parking garages nearby. Tips: 📝 Offers bottomless brewed coffee. 📝 Has a lot of hot and colder drink options. 📝 Must visit for breakfast and brunch food fans. 📝 Has vegan and gluten-free options. Return: Yes 👱‍♀️

We ordered Mushroom and Ricotta Benny and Banana Oat Chocolate Pancakes. Both dishes were phenomenal and the portions are huge! They definitely give you a generous amount of food for what you pay for. Our server was friendly, efficient and super quick considering how busy this place gets. I highly recommend checking this place out and let me tell you, it’s so worth the long wait!

Google
It's good. I had a Benny with the thick back bacon. Nice and crispy piece. Egg was nicely cooked. The hollandaise was fine. I liked the crispy hash. I think the Jam Cafés are good for a nice brunch experience. As long as you don't have to wait too long in line...

Google
Fairly simple food made well and at a very reasonable price with excellent service and a very well organized front of the house. Tried the old town, rancheros, tot bowl and herald, all really good with perfectly cooked eggs. Highly recommend getting extra eggs on the tot bowl, it is huge. Really the only downsides are the wait is typically very long, 30min-60min or more, and the seating inside can be a bit cramped. Also the green hot sauce and mixed berry jam were very tasty.

Google
Super cute brunch place. Service was fast and friendly despite how busy it was. I had the black stone eggs benny. The English muffin was a bit tough but otherwise it was great. Portion sizes and prices were good as well. Place opened at 8 and at 8:15 we could only get seats at the bar so come early or be prepared to wait. There was a line up outside when we left around 9. Will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

Yelp
Awesome . The best breakfast in town by far. Great service too! A must stop if you're visiting Vancouver!

Yelp
Very cute and quaint cafe near BC Place. We decided to stop by for a late lunch/brunch around 1pm and there was still a line waiting outside. Definitely not the best place to go with a large group. Tables of 2 were able to be seated quicker than 4+. Inside was holiday decorated for the season and they were playing Taylor Swift music since she was in town that weekend. The host, servers, and food runners were all very friendly. We ordered a holiday drink that I really enjoyed. It had Kahlua, orange liqueur and hot chocolate. Might be my new holiday drink. For food, we shared the Cold Smoked Salmon and Avocado Benny and the Banofee French Toast. Both were very good! The Banofee French Toast was a huge portion. Was glad to be sharing it. A+ visit. Would definitely recommend.

Yelp
Got the salmon Benny with a side salad. Was super yummy. The seats however were quite uncomfortable and the tables so close together. Food I'd give a 4 star and atmosphere 2-3

Yelp
Finally made it to this Jam Cafe location and so glad we did. I remember how popular the Jam Cafe in Victoria was, so planned to be in line prior to the 8 am opening. And that was the right call as got there at 7:50 and we were 20th in line but in for the first seating. Opted for the Blackstone Benny with coffee. The taste and presentation were spot on and the coffee was good and refilled by the staff. The service was great and we left very full and satisfied. It was a very positive breakfast experience and happy to recommend Jam Cafe on Beatty. PS. There were about 25 people in line in the rain waiting to get in.

Yelp
We did a day trip to Vancouver and heard good things about this place so decided to stop by for brunch. Be prepared to wait in line because it gets busy during peak hours! It was rainy too which sucked, but luckily we only had to wait about 20 minutes. Inside was very cozy with ~10 tables and a tiny bar area. I also loved the cute rustic decorations all over the walls. Our waitress was friendly and efficient, she got our orders in right away after being seated and checked on us regularly. We had the apple cinnamon french toast, full pork belly eggs benny, half smoked salmon & avocado eggs benny, and the pork adobo garlic rice (special of the day). Everything was delicious and very filling! The pork belly eggs benny was my favorite; the pork wasn't dry at all and the skin was extra crispy. I would definitely recommend to place to others, just be prepared to wait in line!
google avatar

Dayna G.

Yelp
Definitely worth the wait! Came here on a weekend and the line was pretty long, however the wait didn't feel too bad. I would recommend getting here early to avoid a long line. The interior is nicely decorated and feels very welcoming! There are a lot of tables for the limited space but it doesn't feel too crowded. Service was amazing despite the large amount of people. The food came out quickly and looked great. I ordered the fried chicken and it was amazing!! Everything tasted great and I'd definitely come again!
google avatar

Yelp
Really delicious food - I ordered the chicken and waffles, which was tasty! My partner had the chicken French toast, which was heavenly! Overall, great place to munch at!
google avatar

Jaise C.

Yelp
waited in line for about 30 mins in the rain and so did 8+ ppl in front of us and it was 10/10 worth the wait. food was soo yummy! one of the best brunches ive ever had. loved the fried chicken eggs benny:) and it was very cozy and staff was nice!
google avatar

Yelp
Wish I could give it a 2.5 because the food really is that good and worth the wait. The line is always long at least 40 mins if you have a big group or more than 2 guest. I got the later tater hash with chicken one time and pork another. The pork in my opinion is def more flavorful than the chicken but both good and filling. If you are into Paloma's they make a great Paloma. I also tried the lavender lemonade mimosa but it was just okay personally. Now let me get to why they went from 5 star to a 2 service. The second time I came to visit before heading back, I was alone. At first I discretely told the server just so you know there is a mouse that's going between tables and under feet to not ruin business. She says okay we will take care of it and I'll get my manager while thanking me. Then the manager comes over and says basically with the doors open constantly, thats just how it is. I tried to ignore it but how can you dine when this is your view and everyone is okay with it? They tried to assure me they're constantly up to date with extermination but I had to pack up and go since no one cared. Quite disappointing in my opinion. Here's video for context.

Yelp
I have never been let down by Jam cafe, and standing in line for half an hour in the rain was still worth it. Exceptional service, and exceptional food. Almost everything on the breakfast menu is superb, so choose what interests you the most you won't be disappointed, and you will make the time to come back a second time.
google avatar

Keizzel C.

Yelp
Came early to beat the line and I wasn't early enough! Haha. Don't let it scare you though because they gave us a 1 hr wait but we ended up getting seated within 20. I do prefer that they set farther expectations so you can get the surprise of getting to eat sooner. Jam Cafe is a homey looking space with the decor lining the restaurant and you can smell the delicious eats as you walk in the door. They're actually super quick to get your order and then to your table. I warn you that the portions are large though so you can definitely share your main entrees. I was tempted to get the Charlie Bowl based on all of the reviews but ended up getting the half fried chicken benny and the mushroom omelette. Jam is your standard breakfast fare but done right. Next time I will be sure to check the sweeter side of the menu as there were unique pancake flavors that I am curious to try.

Yelp
Officially my first meal in Canada as I was visiting from the U.S! Honestly the gravy kinda threw me off a little but the waffle and maple syrup definitely made up for it! The coffee and hash brown was on point I can't really complain! The service was super nice as I got that Canadian hospitality and the restaurant itself is pretty small so everybody is cramped in. Overall I'd definitely be back!
google avatar

Amanda H.

Yelp
Line is 20 min wait out the door in the rain, but they have umbrellas to borrow! Chicken toast + salmon benny are both delicious. 2 orders for 3 people and still stuffed. Chicken toast had Juicy crispy chicken and savory sweet relish for the toast. Asked for butter and syrup on the side. The Benny's eggs were just right with lots of sauce and crispy hash brown that we devoured without ketchup.
google avatar

Yelp
Don't let the line scare you away, the wait was totally worth it! I'm a big fan of pork belly so when I tried this I was so pleasantly surprised that this Pork Belly Eggs Benedict was sooo good! Delicious pork belly, great egg, good crisp hashbrowns, and you can use the english muffin to soak up the rest of the eggs benedict! Very nice staff, the tables outside were fun to sit at on a cool morning. Also got the hot chocolate, very tasty, very cozy.
google avatar

Yelp
After a long flight over, we needed something hearty to start our day. This might have been too hearty as we wanted to take a nap after but the food was amazing!! I got this fried chicken Benedict and the hollandaise sauce was very interesting! Interestingly good! And the chicken was so nice and crispy and packed with so much flavor!! It was a very lively restaurant and the service was awesome! The only downside was waiting in the cold for an hour because they were so popular!!
google avatar

Chris D.

Yelp
Food and services are really great. The only negative is that they have a line of people waiting to get in. We waited in line about 30 minutes. It was raining so it would be nice if the line was covered. Overall I'm very happy that we decided to eat here.

Yelp
Be prepared to wait during peak breakfast/lunch hours. Their service staff was nice and efficient, kept us updated on the table situation and approximate waiting time left. Most tables adjacent to each other so be prepared to listen to gossip and gibberish. Went with half off the pork belly Benny. Pork belly was thick and deep fried, perfect ratio of meat to fat with extra crispiness. Hash browns cooked well with a outer crispy crust and moist potato center Later tater bowl- big bowl of tater tots topped with corn, salsa, cheese, 2 eggs, green onions, buffalo sauce. Very filling and flavorful. Chicken French toast- thick cut brioche bread with buttermilk fried chicken. The hot honey sauce gave the entire dish a unique flavor profile of sweet & spicy. Unfortunately it covered the entire dish so if you added maple syrup to the French toast, it mixed with the hot honey sauce, combine all this with the pickled cabbage, jalapeno sour cream, maple bourbon BBQ glaze, cilantro and green onions and you have a circus full of flavors that may not sit well with your palette. Personally it was way too much flavor for someone who just wanted a nice fried chicken and French toast breakfast. So read the menu ingredients and order appropriately to avoid any flavor surprises, lesson learned

Yelp
Be prepared for long lines on the weekends but believe me when I say this is worth the wait, I do so knowing how valuable time is. The depth and breadth of this menu is crazy good. For someone who doesn't eat eggs I was pleased with the options. For me The Gravy Coops was the winner. Biscuits and gravy topped with fried pork belly and accompanied by hashbrowns. Usually comes with two eggs but they went heavy on the pork belly instead. Winner! Flavorful with chunks of sausage, the gravy was scrumptious. And that pork belly...crisp, rendered well and unctuous. A plate with pulled pork pancakes landed on the table and was decimated in minutes, who knew this combo would satisfy! We also ventured to try the chicken French toast, a visually spectacular dish whose flavor lived up to its visual. It's a lovely, comfortable place to eat and visit.

Yelp
I grew up in the greater Vancouver area but never actually tried the coveted jam cafe until now (some 10 years later). And it still lives up to the hype; probably the best eggs Benedict I've ever had.
google avatar

Jackie M.

Yelp
So good! My husband and I came here the morning of our first visit to Vancouver. Everything came out looking amazing and tasted so fresh! The eggs in our benedicts were perfectly cooked and everything had so much flavor. I also ordered an oat milk vanilla latte which was amazing. Our server was so friendly and answered all of our questions. The restaurant itself is pretty cozy; we got there around 8:30-9:00 on a weekday and there wasn't much of a wait, but shortly after we got there the line was extremely long. Be ready to wait a little while, but it's completely worth it!
google avatar

Lisa C.

Yelp
Went 15 minutes before they opened on a weekend morning and ofc their was already a long lineup! We were very lucky to get seats as we were one of the last group going in. I know their chicken and waffle and blueberry pancake's super yummy, but I was also eyeing the french toasts. Glad I got the banoffee French toast- as it was super filling and was really tasty. Expect to spend $25+ per person
google avatar

Stephanie K.

Yelp
This place always has a huge line but I can see why. The food is delicious. The staff is friendly and on top of everything while allowing you to not feel rushed through your meal. The line outside moves way faster than I expected also. The food and drinks were delicious. We liked it so much we came back two times on our trip. Definitely try it out.
google avatar

Yelp
Was originally heading over to the dirty apron and passed by and saw the place was full and looked great when we got to dirty apron it was empty so I said let's try Jam cafe luckily there was no line when we went back but the line built up pretty quickly so got lucky. I had the fried chicken Benny and can tell you it was amazing 10/10 I am very picky about fried chicken and this was on spot perfect! Juicy crispy season perfectly and went well with the benny! To the point I forgot to take a photo until half way done! Haha the area is nicely decorated but just know the place is a tight place so you will have strangers right next to you without a lot of personal space. I have recommended this place to all my friends that visit to make sure to check out and it has not disappointed anyone! Can't wait to go back

Yelp
Review#700. Might as well make it a great one. I had some time to burn, up early as I wished my husband well on the marathon. I cheered on a bunch of runners along the way to this cozy little restaurant. I debated getting my meal to go, but pancakes really do need to be eaten immediately. This little cafe was set up well for the few solo customers like me. I skipped the small line and was seated at the bar at the back. I ordered a delicious decaf Americano and the blueberry pancakes. My water glass was constantly filled and I read the paper on my phone during the cooking time. The pancakes rate in my top three pancakes of all time. I refuse to pick a winner in the top three as they were all outstanding for different reasons. The pancakes were bouncy, fresh blueberries were plentiful and the little drizzle of lemon curd made the dish. I appreciated having the option to get two instead of three as that was a filling portion. Around me everyone looked happy, including the group of seven crammed into a booth for four. The dish with tater tots seemed especially popular as did the cinnamon bun pancakes.
google avatar

Yelp
I was up for pancakes one day so I searched online "best pancakes near Homer Street", and Jam cafe on Beatty shows up on the top of the list. I know there is always a long lineup. I went there on a weekday at 1-ish, it was still busy but I didn't have to wait for a table. I wanted pancakes but wasn't really up for something sweet at that moment so I ordered the pulled pork pancake. If I remember currently, there aren't a lot of options for savory pancakes. Anyways, there's only one pancake but it's like the size of the plate! The pancake is so good , so light and fluffy. Even though there are other toppings (pulled pork of course, pickled cabbage, sauce ) sitting on top of the pancake, it doesn't make the pancake soggy. The pork is very soft , a lot of meat (instead of fat). I would definitely try the sweet ones next time :)

Yelp
1 of 2 places we went back for a second time during only a week stay in Vancouver. That's how good it was. Normally I'm okay about brunch - it's good, but there's other types of food that I'd rather spend my money on. I wasn't expecting much more than a good, decent brunch place, but this place I would even highly recommend people visiting the area to check out. There is a reason (besides the fact that the restaurant is on the smaller side) that there's always a line to get in. We ordered the Charlie bowl, Cinnamon Bun pancakes, Blueberry Hill pancakes, and a side of pork belly. One of us also got the butterbeer which did not taste alcoholic (in a good way) and was very good. The pork belly was good but honestly I would probably skip it to eat something else more unique/special to the place. The pancakes are massive and fluffy - we preferred the Cinnamon Bun pancakes over the Blueberry Hill pancakes but they were both good and you would not be wrong to order one over the other. The Charlie bowl though was by far the favorite dish for the 3 of us that went. It was savory, rich, filling yet not too heavy and somehow uniquely delicious for a brunch place. This was the dish that made us come back twice during our limited stay, and I'll be looking forward to the next time I can eat this dish.
google avatar

Payal P.

Yelp
I was on vacation with my partner. I ordered the bowl with eggs (on the side) of hash, biscuit, veggies and mushroom gravy. It was DELICIOUS!!! I would've gone back again if I could have. The portion sizes are huge we almost regretted getting the lemon blueberry pancake, so it's best to have one thing per person to be honest. We waited about an hour to get in as this place is very popular. Nice and cozy inside and our service was good. Will highly recommend to anyone coming to Vancouver!

Yelp
Called Jam Cafe on Beatty to place the order for pick up since on Friday there's always line ups at that location to get indoor seats and their patio is really small . After I brought food home , realized that hollandaise sauce for my Benny and some jam for toast been missing . We only got 5 packs of ketchup beside our food and beverages. Looking at the bill I also found out that I been charged a 6% fees for picking up my food and THE LADY ON THE PHONE WHO TOOL MY ORDER , NEVER MENTIONED ABOUT THAT PICKUNG UP TIP IS INCLUDED !!! And I did pay cash while picked up my food and yes I did tip the waiter who handled me my food at the doors ! And ALSO DIDNT TELL ME THAT I ALREDY PAID FOR PICKUNG UP MY ORDER! I feel like I been overcharged plus I had to return to that place to get what kitchen staff forgot to include to my order ! What a shame ! Unless you dine in, I can't recommend this place . Checked Jam Cafe webpage , there's no a word about that surcharge either ! Such bad costumer service ! Boo
google avatar

Victor U.

Yelp
We saw a huge line outside for a brunch place, and since our group had some time, we decided to line up for it as well. I got the Charlie bowl because the waitress said it was one of the top sellers, but I was a little disappointed by it. Everything BUT the biscuit was good, the bone dry biscuit drove down the flavour of the dish. It's as if you were eating piles of sand with your egg or bacon, if the biscuit was a bit more moist, o would have given it a 5 star. The pancake was delicious as well, and luckily we were 4 so there was no food waste.

Yelp
S-I-M-P-L-Y T-H-E B-E-S-T B-R-E-A-K-F-A-S-T Ever.....breakfast like it's nobodies business, and any other places claiming to hold this mantle likely has not dined here. Where do I start? First- I waited on line 45 minutes to get in. That should tell you something. When we go to heaven I suspect while your in line at the pearly gates that you'll be handed a plate of food from JAM. The tater tots were perfectly crisped--conscientiously double fried--with a delicious soft and seasoned center. The blueberry pancakes were great--humongous portion with blueberry sauce and lemon compote that was to die for. The pancakes themselves were moist, fluffy and the perfect amount of sweet. My friend got the fat Elvis waffles and once again was huge and in size and flavor was just as good!!!!! Apple cinnamon French toast was stupendous. Crisp outside and fluffy inside with the perfect amount of cinnamon and a generous dollop of whipped cream. The ambiance was cozy and hall in the wall-ish.

Yelp
*no update just wanna say i wish i was back eating this yummy brekkie* (: i didnt realize i already wrote a review and therefore got way to hyped about it!
google avatar

Elle F.

Yelp
Honey little breakfast place with crazy fun options! The service is quick which is nice- and there's definitely tons of glutinous options despite us going for the healthy boring ones. The alcohol situation is also lots of fun with spiked bevy's! They have a lychee mimosa and tons of spiked coffees! Only minus is you're standing in the rain before you're seated- and it can get quite uncomfortable!
google avatar

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
The wait was long but it was sooooo worth it. Everything was absolutely delicious and we can't wait to be back in Vancouver to have it again. Highly recommend the cinnamon bun pancake - it was a sweet surprise that we loved.
google avatar

Natalie H.

Yelp
We ordered the avocado benny and pork belly benny. The food was packed with flavor! Imma still dreaming about the candied bacon... We also enjoyed their Irish coffee, lavender latte, and orange juice. We were impressed by the service since the place was so busy. Kind and attentive staff. We also liked the music playing in the background. Can't wait to go back someday!
google avatar

Orjola M.

Yelp
We didn't have to wait long for a table since it was just my husband and I. I ordered chilaquiles, but I felt that they added too much chips and not enough "toppings". These felt more like breakfast nachos than chilaquiles. My husband enjoyed his chicken sandwich. The maple butter syrup that came with the waffles was amazinggggg i wish they sold it by the bottle! The tables inside were too close together with the other parties.
google avatar

Melissa G.

Yelp
Such a cute little place for breakfast. The staff was friendly and efficient and the food was spectacular. I had the buffalo fried chicken Benny that delicious. I loved that I could get a half order. Others in my party had eggs, hash browns, bacon... everything was great.
google avatar

Maleka H.

Yelp
Jam Cafe had the longest waiting line, we stood in line for over an hour for our brunch date, on Yelp it had great reviews so I figured it was worth the wait. Once inside it's very warm and cozy, very tight seating and space but it works. The staff is very efficient and friendly and the menu choices for brunch have a wide variety. The chorizo and corn bread were my favorite of the dishes. The waffles and chicken had so much potential but for me had too much sauce and pickled cabbage, gave it an overwhelming taste, I would ask for them to remove or place sauce and cabbage to the side. The pancakes were a bit off with taste and texture too thick a dough needed to be much more light and fluffy. Overall a great experience.
google avatar

Chris D.

Yelp
Look, I get that when a place adds some cool new dishes, it gets a lot of buzz. This spot is likely amazing for folks looking for something out of the ordinary and a bit more daring for breakfast. I however, prefer breakfast not be an adventure. The staples of breakfast don't have to be tampered with - it was too edgy and too pricey for my tastes. The folks in my party were impressed - it just wasn't for me.

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday morning, around 9am and the wait was about 20-25 minutes.. not as bad as I had anticipated! The vibe was amazing, they played allll the R&B so this was already off to a Good start :) Everything we ordered was great! Pancakes, French toasts, the fried chicken Benedict's (wow!), and the tater loaded bowl!!
google avatar

Teresa F.

Yelp
Jam cafe is totally worth waiting inline for. Also worthy is taking the seats at the bar. It got us in faster and we could watch the drinks get prepared. We loved the half size benny idea. We love the food, but can't eat as much at a sitting as we used to! The sugar-cured bacon is to die for! The fried chicken was okay. I just wished it was a bit crispier. Still it tasted devine. The pancake. The pancake! It's huge. A side one is enough to share. And the maple butter is amazing. Too much good stuff to choose from. We love this place.

Yelp
I was on vacation and decided to give it a try since I had heard great news about it. We did come on a Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. Although there was a line, it went by pretty quick and the waiters were great and very friendly. The food was delicious. Throughout the trip, we tried different brunch spots and I hoped that we had come to Jam earlier. We were leaving the next morning and I was only able to have tit once. I loved the decorations and the vibe. Would definitely give it a chance if you are able to do so and experience yourself!

Katie G.

Yelp
(Written by my 13 year old) The service was so good, and the food here actually eats (no crumbs).. there was a line when we got here, but there was minimal waiting. All the fruit is ripe, and the food is the perfect portion for a morning where you need a sweet, or savory breakfast. Would recommend.. it slayed the day!!

Yelp
Jam Cafe is an exceptional breakfast spot located in the heart of Vancouver. The cozy and rustic atmosphere of the restaurant provides a perfect backdrop for a relaxing and enjoyable breakfast experience. The interior design features reclaimed wood and vintage accents, creating a warm and welcoming ambiance that is perfect for starting your day off right. But the real star of the show at Jam Cafe is the food. The menu is full of classic breakfast dishes with a creative and modern twist. One of their signature dishes is the "Green Eggs and Ham," which features scrambled eggs with basil pesto and thick slices of honey-glazed ham. Another favorite is the "Braised Pork Belly Benedict," which comes with perfectly poached eggs and a tangy hollandaise sauce. As far as I can tell, their dishes are made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the portions are generous, ensuring that you won't leave hungry. They also offer gluten-free and vegetarian options, making it a great spot for those with dietary restrictions. The service is also outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff who are always happy to help and make recommendations. They are knowledgeable about the menu and the ingredients used, which adds to the overall experience. IMO, it is a must-visit for anyone looking for a top-notch breakfast spot in Vancouver. From the cozy atmosphere to the exceptional food and service, it's a dining experience you won't want to miss.

Yelp
The fried chicken Benedict was so yummy! Def the best brunch I have had in a while, there is a wait time but the line moves fast. The lychee mimosa was light and unique! The next time I'm in Vancouver I'll come here!

Yelp
This JAM is walking distance to me, as the other one in Kits is not. I liked the one in Kits, but the two JAMS render very different experiences...not worse or better...just different....here's how. They both have great food and great service, but they still differ. I'm very sensitive to sound so I'm not a huge fan of over-the-top noisy restaurants, and even though this place was packed there was a grounding and chill vibe the one in Kits doesn't have. But again, this is not a fault...if you're into noisy places you'd probably like the one in Kits better. I found the type of people at this place to be young and hip professionals as opposed to the more family style energy at the other one. The service here was more catered. They took their time more with you. It was clear that they acknowledge the fact that you stood in line for 20 min, but now you have their full attention and service....gold star. The other one in Kits also has good service but you feel the rush. Not as suave. Again not a fault just depends what experience you're looking for. The food at both is great, but again here it's slightly more refined....like it just had that extra round of attention by the chef. Ok....look at it this way..... JAM Beatty is the student with the A+ paper and JAM Kits is the one with the A- paper. Almost no difference, but still you can tell when you start reading. But, I think I'll start walking from now on when I crave JAM instead of going for the drive.

Yelp
This place really deserves the hype! We arrived at around 8:20 AM on a Sunday (they opened at 8 AM) and we snagged the last available table! No booze drinks until 9 AM, but we dug right in with the apple french toast and the Charlie's Bowl. The Apple French Toast was really thick bread but pillowy soft inside. The apples were sauteed in butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon, but did not turn out overly sweet. The Charlie Bowl was both crumbled biscuit and hash browns, covered with chopped bacon and ham, a corn salsa, green onions, smothered in pork sausage gravy, cheddar cheese, and eggs on top. It was a monster and when I was done, it looked like I had not started. Unless you can really eat, it might be a shareable item. The food was great and service was super efficient. We left and there was a huge line of people waiting. I suspect this is always the case!

Yelp
This place is the jam!! Large portions, good service, and delicious food! I went on a weekend for brunch and there was a long wait. Unfortunately you can't just put your name down on a list and come back, you have to wait in line. I finally got seated about 1.5 hours later but so worth it because it was amazing!! Pancakes are massive and so fluffy. I tried the cinnamon roll pancakes and it was delicious!! Got the gravy coop as well which came with biscuits, fried chicken, gravy, egg, and hashbrowns which did not disappoint. Overall great brunch place, would definitely come here again!

Yelp
The food was phenomenal! We had to stand outside and wait, but it was less than 20 minutes before we were sat! We had a table of 6 and the waitress was patient and very helpful! The restaurant was packed and full of life! I would recommend anyone to come here for breakfast or brunch!!
