I’m an LA local, so there’s usually no need for me to stay at a hotel—but Jamaica Bay Inn is an exception. My husband and I love staying here to enjoy kayaking, the nearby Cheesecake Factory, and a kid-friendly beach park where our two little ones can run around and have fun. The hotel staff are all friendly and very professional. Hee Sung, the hotel manager, always makes sure we’re well taken care of. Hands down, this is the best hotel in LA. You can’t beat the location—right in front of the beach—and the restaurant offers a great variety of food. So far, everything we’ve tried has been very tasty. Highly recommended.

First time to this hotel, would definitely recommend! Location is convenient to LAX & an easy walk to Venice canals, restaurants & coffee places. Our king room was clean & spacious, felt like it had been recently refreshed / renovated. Heating/Aircon unit was a bit noisy but otherwise a very restful space. We had a parking lot view. Next time I'd pay extra for a better view. Thanks for the lovely stay!

We stayed here Thanksgiving weekend. It is a quiet, cozy, boutique hotel overlooking the marina and Mothers beach. It is centrally located and just a short walk down Washington Street to Venice Beach. From there you can walk the beach boardwalk all the way to Santa Monica beach/pier. The restaurant offers a nice relaxing patio overlooking the beach and the food was excellent. Our large room (458) had no balcony but an abundance of windows with amazing views. There is a small gym and the pool and jacuzzi tub seemed adequate, however it was a bit cold and we didn’t use those amenities. The hotel was well maintained. The staff were amazing from top to bottom. Christina at the front desk was welcoming. We received several text messages throughout our stay asking if there’s anything that we needed. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I do recommend this property. I would definitely stay here again. Give it a try!

I celebrated my 30th wedding anniversary in LA and we stayed at the Jamaica Bay Inn. We stayed at the hotel from October 15th-19th, 2025. From our first encounter with the gentleman that checked us in that afternoon. (I did not get his name) until our time of departure, we truly enjoyed our stay. Check in was informative and easy, the rooms were very clean, the hotel is in a great location to get a Lyft, Uber, or Waymo to local attractions. The on-site restaurant had a good variety, great chefs, and the executive brunch was awesome. We did however encounter a broken coffee pot in our room and I called the front desk, at first I was told that I couldn't be assisted, however, I received a knock at the door within 10 minutes with two cups of coffee. Throughout our stay Christina & Nikki (front desk clerks) were very helpful with directions and recommendations. They even let me store some items there after checkout, due to a late flight. Was the price a little higher than most? Absolutely, but in my travels I see you get what you pay for? And they delivered. Once I scrape my pennies together, I will definitely be back one day. I hope the staff is acknowledged or rewarded in some way. P.S. I was not paid for this. I just try to share really good news.

I had an excellent stay at the Jamaica Bay Inn in Marina del Rey. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. Hee Sung provided outstanding customer care and offered a complimentary upgrade as part of my Titanium Elite status, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The restaurant staff were amazing — warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly, adding a personal touch to every interaction. The view over the marina is beautiful, making the atmosphere relaxing and unique. Overall, a fantastic experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again.

If I could give this place ten stars, I would! We changed hotels sort of at the last minute because they had the most lenient cancellation policy and we were dealing with the federal shutdown (i.e. airline going to get us there?). Christina at the front desk was amazing and professional. But Mauro (?) in the bar/restaurant was head of the class! Great service and conversation. And kudos to whomever in the kitchen made the homemade bleu cheese dressing to go with my awesome wings. Our room was so comfortable and large that I believe I could actually live in it. Newly updated and so clean. We must have been upgraded because our room (complete with a full balcony w/ chairs and a side table) faced the marina and was delightful at night with lights across the water. We have been traveling for 45 years and this is one of our favorite hotels ever.

We've been staying in exclusively Hilton properties all across the U.S. from Chicago to L.A. on our cross country road trip. This was the most expensive and the biggest disappointment--mediocre welcome, weird zooey smell in our room, only one cup (took two hours for housekeeping to bring a second so I could have a cup of tea), non-working fireplace, and broken bathroom door handle. It's nice there's a fridge, but there's limited counter space, very small desk, no microwave, and a very uncomfortable high back chair. We self parked which is way at the back, which means you must walk your luggage along a section of the sidewalk covered with metal bumps that almost caused me to stumble. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but I walked down to the pool and beach area. There isn't a fence and the beach is public, so people can freely enter the hotel property, which made me feel a bit unsafe as I was approached by some strangers asking for money. I guess, for the price, I expected more. We will avoid this hotel in the future.

Google
I just got home from an amazing vacation with the Jamaica Bay Inn. The entire hotel smells like its brand new. Clean, clean, clean. Resort at its best, beautiful landscape, and don't get my started with the staff. They are Amazing. I literally received 5 text messages, asking how my stay is going, and if there was anything they could do in give me a greater experience. Seriously! So attentive. I could not ask for a better experience. Beachside cafe. Food is fabulous, the ambience is spectacular. If you are in Marina Del Rey this is your spot. No, I am not getting paid to say this. Thank you so much to Jamaica Bay Inn for your hospitality.

Yelp
I had a wonderful stay at Jamaica Bay in Tapestry. I really loved the upgraded waterfront area--I've never stayed on that side of the hotel before, and it was such a nice experience. I was especially happy to get a room with a waterfront view. I went to dinner at the bar, and those lemon pepper chicken wings were to die for! I'll definitely be coming back for those alone. As I was leaving, I had the chance to speak with Edward on the phone. He was very polite, professional, and helpful. I hope I get to meet him in person on my next visit.

Yelp
It's a place to rest your head, sure. Absolutely nothing special about this hotel. From the room, it might as well be off an Interstate in Alabama. The only saving grace here is the mediocre view of the marina and its construction and the restaurant downstairs. One of my main qualms was that our shower was missing body wash when we arrived, no biggie, they brought some up. But WHY are the shampoo, conditioner, and body gel all different scents?! It was like a lavender, bamboo, eucalyptus fruit salad in there. Frankly, I didn't care for any of the scents individually, let alone together! The lobby is mid, very minimal seating, one plug to plug in and charge, one table, and a bench. As far as I can tell, the only parking option was to use their valet service, which was $52/day. This is so frustrating because our car was no further than 20 feet from the front door and they had a huge, empty parking lot. They cheaped out on the in-room coffee machine, no coffee in the lobby. I think Hilton can spring for some complimentary black coffee in the lobby.

Yelp
I'm a Hilton Diamond member and spend a large part of my life in hotel rooms across the country. Without question, this is my absolute favorite hotel. I actually plan trips to LA just so I can stay here--it makes every business trip feel like a mini vacation. Over the past year, I've stayed here for a total of two weeks, and every time, the staff goes above and beyond to accommodate my requests. I always ask for a water view, and even when the hotel is fully booked, they've made it happen. Nikki at the front desk was especially helpful--she ensured that I was moved into a water-view room as soon as one became available. I called expecting a delay, but everything was already taken care of. It truly felt like I had been given the best room in the hotel. The customer service is consistently outstanding. Johnathan, one of the valet drivers, even remembered me from a stay months earlier. He's always polite, helpful, and made sure I was set up when I rented a bike during my last visit. The hotel itself is spotless--rooms, bathrooms, gym, pool, AC, everything is always in excellent condition. I also dine regularly at the bar/restaurant. While the menu is on the smaller side, the food is delicious and the service is quick. If you're looking for a hotel that combines comfort, cleanliness, and truly exceptional service, this is the one. One day during my stay, there was a TV show being filmed. I could watch everything from my balcony. Amazing

Yelp
My boyfriend and I have come here many times for brunch. We usually opt for the mimosa flight, which comes with a bottle of champagne and a few fresh juices. For food we normally get a mix of things, like the chicken and French toast, eggs, club sandwich. The food is good and the view on sunny days is priceless. I'd like to shoutout our server, Susie, who was super sweet and attentive.

Yelp
We are Hilton Diamond members and frequently stay in Hilton properties at all price points. Sadly, this Hilton Tapestry Collection hotel was well below our expectations. The lack of attention to detail, outdated facilities, neglect of amenities and $52/day "valet"parking (our car was parked right by the front door due to 3/4 empty parking lot) are just a few of the reasons we will not stay here again. The room was average (low quality mattress, sheets, bath supplies). We were missing body wash in the shower, provided one small square of soap, which was not refreshed once during our 5 day visit. Bathroom had no towel hooks and our faucet missing the end piece causing it o spray and splatter. Thankfully, they did repair this when I asked. The location is near the marina but not the "beach side" resort we were expecting. The "beach" is on a small, stagnate inlet at the end of the marina, and directly adjacent to a public park. The waterside was not appealing for swimming, walking or sitting in the sun. At this price point, the ROI for Jamaica Bay Inn just doesn't add up.

Yelp
My wife and I were looking to go out of town for the Fourth of July and ultimately decided on Jamaica Bay Inn. During our last stay on Valentine's Day, we inquired if we were able to see the fireworks from a Marina View Room and were told "yes". I booked the room on the Hilton app shortly after Valentine's Day and reserved a Marina View Room. The day before check in (July 3), I attempted to select a room as well as check in on the Hilton app but was directed to the front desk (which did not happen during our last visit). When I got to the hotel around 2 PM on the Fourth of July, I was told that was because of the room rate that I selected. Rather than go back and forth about what happened during my last visit, my wife showed her military ID and a room was given to us. Coincidentally, they were originally going to give us the exact same room that we had on Valentine's Day but since the people in that room decided to stay an extra night, we got the room directly below that one. The check in process at the desk did not take that long and we were lucky enough to be able to check in an hour early. We got to the room with our senior dog and she was running all over the room as happy as could be. The AC worked well and kept the room cool throughout the day and the fridge kept all of our stuff cold. When it came time for the fireworks at 9 PM, a group of people gathered outside and unfortunately, due to the fog, we were unable to see the fireworks very well (through absolutely no fault of the hotel) but at least some beachgoers brought some fireworks with them and set them off nearby so we got to be a part of the action and see some fireworks. Please note that Mother's Beach (where the hotel is located) is super crowded with people on the Fourth of July as it is a public beach so make sure to get to the hotel early to avoid traffic! Thanks for an awesome Fourth of July! We look forward to returning.

Yelp
They are part of the Hilton Honors program. I don't typically stay near the marina but we had an another guest with us. She wanted to stay near the water. The lobby was cute. They provided coffee and tea throughout the day. That's where the high rating ends. The front desk offered to give us a "nice room" but because we booked through a third party, they would not honor my Gold benefits so no free water. It was $2 a bottle and they didn't tell me u til I got the bill after we left. The room was a "hot" mess. The DJ was playing music so loud that we couldn't hear our TV. The room smelled of dead fish the entire stay. The hallways had blocked off "tented" with plastic over some rooms. Could be construction but we never saw workers, could have been fumigation and I hope we never saw bed bugs. Try to avoid this place. There are many other nicer hotels in the MDR area. The Hilton Garden Inn across the street was a much nicer hotel.

Yelp
I stayed at Jamaica Bay Inn on a Monday. I arrived at 2:30 (check in was at 3). I was helped by Heisong (sorry if I spelt it wrong!) at the front. He was able to check me in and even upgraded me for it being my first time. THANK YOU SIR!! He was super friendly and helpful and explained everything about the hotel to me. It doesn't look like a lot from outside but the inside of the place is super clean. The room was also really clean and very nice. They also have a heated pool and and a spa. Sadly I wasn't able to try the restaurant as they closed by the time I was free but there are plenty of food options nearby! I was able to enjoy the pool and spa. They both belt relaxing. Also shoutout to Will at the vallet! Great hotel I recommend.

Yelp
UPDATE: The Hotel Manager directly reached out with gracious customer service and was incredibly kind. Zero star for Ana at the front desk being THE rudest hotel staff employee. I travel a lot and fully appreciate the ups and downs of accommodations but she takes the cake for nightmare employee. Our night sleep was continuously interrupted by a periodic beeping sound. We were exhausted from travel and when we went to walk the 4th floor hallway in the morning we identified the sound coming from an air freshener unit mounted on the wall that was malfunctioning. I told Ana and she not only refused to make any eye contact with me but BLAMED me for not identifying what the sound was during the night. I told her I was exhausted and had no idea what it was and she continued to say "you should have found out what it was and told someone last night". I asked to speak with her supervisor and she told me she was supervisor (holy hell!). I asked for her boss and she literally tossed a business card at me. I called the number on the card and the outgoing voice mail said "this voicemail is full and not accepting messages". In a nutshell, this was the worst customer service. Ana clearly does not understand that both a little kindness goes a long way and her job only exists because of customers.

Yelp
Great location on a beach on a Marina Del Rey lagoon. Angelique was a pleasure to work with to book my two-room reservation. Room 458 is a very nice and large room with nice vistas. The only problem were little oddities like the lack of hooks in the bathroom, the poor shower drainage and the low level of lighting. Room could've used a full-length mirror beyond the bathroom. And the windows were a bit dirty on the outside, detracting from the wonderful view. Overall, we had a lovely experience and everyone we came in contact with was extremely helpful from the valet to the restaurant staff. I'm giving it four stars because of the location, large room and reasonable price.

Yelp
Crab cake benediction is not to be missed! Such a beautiful view, I can't wait to spend another lazy morning basking.

Peggy S.

Yelp
We went for breakfast at the Beachside Restaurant & Bar inside Jamaica Bay Inn. Susie our server was so friendly and attentive. All the food was delicious and being able to sit outside comfortably near the water in the marina was a bonus. They had heaters in the morning that made it much more comfortable. We will be back when we visit Marina del Rey again. Maybe we'll stay with you instead of across the street at the Marriott.

Leslie J.

Yelp
I hosted my 20th year high school reunion at Jamaica Bay last week and I was extremely impressed by the events staff. Jessica (events manager) was very responsive and helpful. The day of the event our banquet captain Cristina and the lead bartender Gina were attentive, quick and accommodating. My classmates and I had a great time and I would host another event at Jamaica Bay.

Yelp
The bar is just off of Mother's Beach. Fun spot after paddle boarding or an easy walk. Love Maurio here. He makes the best spicy margs in Marina Del Rey!

Myla M.

Yelp
I've been here a few times and every time I'm here. I always enjoy it. I really like this place. It's so close to the water. I like the people that work there. I celebrated Mother's Day here and we had a nice table and see the water after our lunch we went to the car and we got our beach stuff out and chilled out and really enjoyed the day. This is a really, cool spot to grab a bite to eat have a glass of wine. The sunsets are absolutely stunning. There's also some free parking on the street. Otherwise there's a valet, but I highly recommend this place for celebrating an occasion and getting the table that's closest to the water is is a nice one. It's also cool spot during Fourth of July grab a table and bottle of wine get some food, and the sun goes down and the fireworks go up and it's a nice spot to watch the fireworks as well. I just like this place.

Yelp
The people working reception are incredibly rude (all shifts) they treat you like they're doing you a favor just talking to you. I get it, working isn't fun, but get a different job if you don't like people. Rooms are fine and they did done cute touches, but we Won't be coming back.

Yelp
This is considered as a Resort because of the location and since we want to see the ocean on Thanksgiving weekend, we picked this hotel and it looks really cute on the website. Room- Spacious, minimum, and a bit dark (the closet without lighting looked really spooky) A little past midnight, our neighbor next room had too much fun and started a heated argument, we can hear every single word loud and clear, at one point, I was worried that they would jump over the patio to our room. Confusing signs- There were bottled waters in the room with a $5 on the big bottle, but nothing on the small bottles. Being curious, I called the front desk and ask, learned that a small bottle is $3 without a tag. WIFI- It should be FREE WIFI for hotel guests, but when log on to the standard Hilton Wifi sign up page, it doesn't accept room#. Called the front desk again and confirmed that they have a different password. Friendly staff, great onsite restaurant. Food price is very reasonable with a variety of choices. Good relaxing view to the Mother's Beach!

Yelp
I was looking forward to staying here for a midweek trip with a friend and it was just okay. The valet guy, restaurant guy, housekeeping were all great and helpful. The rooms looked a lot better on-line than they did in person but they were very clean. I tried an upgrade to get a better room and even though there was hardly anyone in the hotel, they still charged about $50.00 for the upgrade (HH member so that was a surprise). When we arrived in the upgraded room, there was only one bed for the 2 of us and the toilet was leaking all over the bathroom floor. We ended up in the original room which had a lovely view of the parking lot. Next morning when went to use the shower, the handle was broken off and left in the the soap dish. Upon our departure the front desk person was really rude and told me they were going to hold a certain amount on my credit card for any damages to the room. We're in our 60's so it's not like we had a rager in the room. I then let her know about the shower and she replied that I should have told them when I checked into the room. I didn't use the shower until the next day so how would I know? IDK for almost $500.00 a night you could probably do better. Some front desk training in customer service would probably be a good idea.

Yelp
My family enjoys eating at the restaurant regularly, because we can self park with Disabled Acessor valet park. The service, food, cleanliness, ambiance and the views were superb!!!

Yelp
Amazing room view and service! Loved every second of my staycation!! The swimming pool was nice and clean, and no strangers hanging around!

Yelp
I came back from Venice Beach after being robbed of my purse, which had all my belongings in it, my drivers license, my real ID , my bank cards and my hotel card from my room. After getting back to the hotel, I walked up to the woman behind the counter and asked her for a spare key to my room. And she said what's your room number? I said I think it's something like 372. It ended up being 347 but that wouldn't matter because without my ID she was not going to allow me into the room. So not only was I robbed of all my money and means of getting money. I'm now kicked out of my hotel because I was robbed. Speaking with the nice people in the valet, I realized I'm gonna have to drive home and get a passport and then drive all the way back with no means of getting money or gas if I run out so after three hours I got back showed her my passport. She gave me a key, did not smile or apologize, she did less than a robot would do. For all that trouble they don't even wanna give me two free nights in the same hotel that I stayed at. They wanna give me a few points that won't buy me anything but a sandwich for lunch so I would have to pay the other money out-of-pocket if I wanted to stay and get my worth out of the hundred thousand points. I tried to call the manager again today and they came back saying that all the managers were in a meeting. I said great. Have one of them. Call me when they get out. Here's my number. They called me immediately. Just kidding. They never called me back at all. And that's why we're here on yelp. You can't be an asshole to customers and not compensate them and think they're gonna keep their mouth shut. Everybody in the hotel was kind and sweet and generous except for the receptionist staff. They must get them from a different employment agency.

Yelp
Great stay ! Christina M. at the front desk was wonderful assisting our family with our needs. She started the trip off to a positive start and remained positive throughout our stay. The accommodations are very comfortable and spacious. I would recommend this hotel.

Yelp
Great hotel. Reception was very welcoming. Booked a Double Queen with a marina view with balcony. Added pics for view. The view was amazing and loved sitting on the balcony. Room was clean and fresh. The A/C unit was noisy, had to turn it off as it was annoying. Bathroom very clean. Hairdryer provided. Only stayed one night but would go back again if I was in the area.

Yelp
AWFUL experience at the restaurant - BEWARE of credit card FRAUD from the staff. We tipped 25% on a very big bill but that didn't stop our waitress from overcharging our credit card by over $100 and pocketing cash. Worst yet? The waitress knew it was my birthday! Blown away that a place that charges so much would treat friendly and well paying customers so poorly. Never going back - and you shouldn't either!

Yelp
Great location! Bad night! Hotel fire alarm went off twice around 3 am Lots of people in lobby! False alarm ! No apologies!

Yelp
We came here after having to leave another hotel. We stayed for 3 nights and they really helped turn our trip around! The pool and hot tub is great for the kids on the beach! Walking distance to restaurants. The restaurant is very good and everyone was so nice! The rooms are very clean and big.I would definitely come back!

Yelp
I attended a meeting of the Venice Chamber of Commerce last week and it has been some time since I attended an event here in many years. The lobby was festive and decorated for the holiday season and the room in which we had the event was inviting and just off the outside dining area that overlooked Mother's Beach. You had the option to sit inside or out! The food served was appetizers and all were quite good that included beef spears, sushi and other delectable items. The service is professional and the room was decorated with a Christmas tree and comfortably accommodated about a 100 or so in attendance. While I never stayed at the property, those I know who have found the rooms satisfactory. If you're local and seek a great venue for a professional meeting or event, consider the Jamaica Bat in the Marina right on Admiralty. You'll be pleasantly surprised by the service and overall attention to detail. Recommend!

Yelp
This hotel is outdated & smelly! Here for the NYE weekend & not enjoying our stay. Front desk young lady was unfriendly and condescending. However Stewart saved the day! Our first room smelled so strong I got a horrible headache. Luckily Stewart was able to change our room. The other room still has a vague odor but we will have to endure. Restaurant has limited choices with nothing appealing. So we just settled for drinks & went to Tony P's for lunch. No clam chowder on a cold rainy day?! Come on Jamaica Bay Inn!!! Valet parked our car but when we left for lunch the guy handed hubby the key. So he could fetch it himself a few yards away. WTF?!!!!!!! This was our first & last time staying at this hotel. It was uninviting and so outdated we can't wait to leave tomorrow. Happy New Year!

Yelp
Crashed at this place for a night after going out to party nearby. I was not disappointed, and the pool is heated so I got to swim there at 9pm and nobody was there (which is a win). There is no free breakfast so I recommend bringing in your own snacks if you don't want to go to the restaurant that's attached to the hotel.

Mark E.

Yelp
Ah, the update. Well, we contacted Expedia, whom we booked the hotel thru. They contacted the hotel for a refund, and the hotel refused because they gave us 2 horrible choices. I also believe this hotel does not like mixed race couples, as we are, due to the fact that we waited in the lobby, starting at 230 to get checked in. At 10 to 3 a "white" couple walked right up to the desk and was checked in, even though, we were in plain view of the desk clerk. Oddly enough, they were offered an upper floor room, had a better view, but they declined it. So why didn't they offer that to us, when we asked. I was contacted by Hilton, who said, gee, nothing they could do but give us points for another "Hilton" hotel stay, but their affliated hotel, they have no control over, maybe they should cut ties based on the other reviews! I am out $276 bucks, sad.

Yelp
The rooms are huge!! The bay is perfect and calm though there is loud music playing on the other side. Reception is always slow because there's only 1 person and the hotel is pretty crowded.

Yelp
I just hosted a birthday party for my daughter last weekend held in one of their banquet rooms. We selected Brussels sprouts, short ribs, jerk chicken and caesar salad as our dinner plan. The food was delicious and very tasty. I can't say enough about how amazing staff were. I would highly recommend this hotel for your next event

Yelp
It was a beautiful place . I enjoy my room I stayed in for one night. But the fire alarm went off twice and my ears are still ringing. It happened about three in the morning and there was know one to talk to. The next morning I had a nice experience in the coffee shop. The coffee and avocado toast was delicious. Our friends for the memorial were coming at 11:00. So I had to wake up early. I fix the nice room and the server was helpful. Please fix the alarm system it is much too loud .thank goodness someone got it fixed.

Yelp
We visited Sunday at brunch time, after the Thanksgiving Holiday and Ron couldn't seat us without a reservation but graciously suggested the bar area! That was a GREAT idea! We enjoyed a Mauro's Bloody Tito served by the incomparable MAURO himself and an Aperol Spritz. Both were delicious and tasty! Our pup was welcomed in the comfortable patio. We shared a Fish and Chips which was crispy and shareable. What an incredible day. Service was exceptional thanks to Ron and Mauro!

Yelp
I'm not super impressed. I will say that we stayed here for evacuation purposes due to the LA fires. I wasn't aware that I was required to have a credit card, and mine was lost in the fire. After attempting to use my debit card multiple times, the front desk person told me that I was fine and should just be sure to pay for incidentals upon checking out. That wasn't the case...the front desk staff harassed me for multiple days while we stayed, even threatening to call the police on us if we didn't put a card down. I understand hotel policy, but the room was paid for through the evacuation program and I had no intention of leaving without paying any fees. My only problem is that they weren't at all compassionate or understanding given the situation. I eventually was able to use my debit card, then they emailed my partner asking about the card authorization form they gave us. I just feel like compassion and care is rule 1 for hospitality, but maybe I'm wrong. Our rooms also weren't cleaned or serviced until the day before check out (not sure if this was directed by the front desk because of the card situation or what). The brunch and dinner were subpar, nothing special, and under-seasoned, you're better off going to one of the restaurants in the area. To top it off, I went down to the front desk to ask for a push pin for an art project I was working on (a weird request, I know, so I didn't expect to get one) and I had to wait to be greeted by the old lady at the front desk because apparently whatever was on her computer was more important than greeting a guest. She looked up, in an unfriendly way, and said hello. I go on to ask her about the push pin and before I can finish explaining why I need it, she interrupts me and says they "have nothing like that." Yet, there's a whole office behind the front desk. Maybe she was telling the truth, but I don't know. I would just recommend staying at one of the other hotels in the area if you can, especially if a friendly and welcoming staff is what you're looking for. It's hit or miss here.

Yelp
Terrible Front Desk service (Dark Hair, Late 30's Female). I gave it 2 stars because the rest of the staff is very friendly. We hade cock roaches in our room, The front desk pointed my husband to the 3rd floor for Ice - NO ICE available have to go back down to restaurant. Called front desk - No regular coffee in room. Front desk says we have free coffee every morning in the lobby. Go to Lobby the next morning. NO COFFEE in coffee pot. - Ask front desk, can you make more coffee? Front desk "is it empty" came back 10 minutes later "oh it will be 20 to 30 more minutes" Forgot to add. No BlowDryer in my room. This is a Hilton so 3 things youwoud expect, ICE,BlowDryer & Coffee. Front Desk "oh its in the closet" me "no its not" front desk. "are you sure?" OMG !!! Room smelled like piss and alcohol. Will never stay there again !!!!

Yelp
Great management and customer service. Clean rooms and bathrooms. However, the furniture are very outdated and damaged. The mattress wasn't comfortable. Very good location. It's beautiful but not as beautiful as the photos. I wouldn't stay here next time unless they remodel the entire building.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite local spots for brunch. I was able to make a reservation online the same day. There was no wait when we got here. We sat outside on the patio and the view was spectacular over here at mothers beach. Our service was great. The food was scrumptious as usual. I had the Bistec flank steak and my friend had the crab cake Benny. Two of my favorite dishes. We had the mimosa flight which definitely hit the spot . It's a bottle of champagne with four different juices. Definitely a five-star experience every time I come. A must try if you haven't already. Parking is easy and they have valet.

Yelp
I just want to add to my prior view, since we stayed again, this time in a regular room, not a suite. The bathroom in the regular room definitely not as nice; the tub overflow is so you can only fill the tiny bathtub like halfway. That was irritating. But everything else was amazing. We had a corner balcony king room and our balcony felt huge. Like you could have a party on it. We had such an amazing view. We ate meals on our balcony because it was just so enjoyable. The little sitting area in the regular room is nice as well. The beachside bar and restaurant is a bit overpriced in terms of food, but the bar itself is just delightful. We sat in the lounge by the bar and got drinks while waiting for some takeout we ordered to come. Watched the sunset and it was just really peaceful. Even on a Friday night in the middle of summer, this place is just peaceful. You can order drinks from the bar to bring poolside too, which was really nice. The view from the pool cannot be beat. Plus, the pool is heated. I think this is one of my favorite hotels in all of California.

Yelp
So disappointing. Obviously, a great location and my balcony room looked out on the water, but that was the only positive thing about staying here. I am a Hilton diamond member, and this place is definitely not up to standards. There was a horrific smell that permeated the hallways on floor two. When masked with the hotels preferred air freshener, it made for a horrid walk between my room and the elevators. The rooms are very dated. Wallpaper was coming off the wall, the shower handle fell off in my hand when I tried to adjust the water temperature and the carpets are filthy. Avoid this property if you can!

Yelp
Where do you start...hotel is old and dated. They do not greet you as a Hilton Honors guest or offer you the free daily waters...you have to ask for them. Small lobby, the room is old and dark. Homeless sleeping just blocks from the hotel. Had dinner at the hotel restaurant and had a large rat walk by us. Server told us the rats come to the patio when the tide comes up...are you serious!?! This place does not deserve to have the Hilton brand name. At best, it feels like an old trashed Hampton Inn. What the heck!?! I could never recommend going to this hotel.

Yelp
The good - Resturant is good, great zen location. Reasonably priced/good value and good service. The hotel itself is a 2. How on earth is this a Tapestry? Quite obviously more of a Hampton only at 5X the price. Drug deals in parking lot, rude front desk, no coffee in lobby as promised. Again, will be back for the Resturant but will stay elsewhere.

Yelp
Was in town for a night to visit family. Upon arrival around 3pm it was very easy to find parking. Check in was a breeze. The front desk ladies could have been more inviting but they didn't give me a hard time. The room I had was on the 1st floor double queen with a patio pool/full harbor view. The room was very nice and clean. Everything looked new and smelled fresh. I was very pleased. Later that evening when I returned from a function around 11:30pm I noticed a very loud sound coming from outside...almost like a rifle going off. It was a violent sound. But noticed no police so I didn't think it was a gun. When I turned the air conditioning unit off I didn't hear it anymore, so maybe it was from that? It did scare me a bit being by myself and all. There was no hot water from the sink or shower. I sent a text to concierge but no response. So no hot shower before bed. There was a long curly hair in one of the beds. I tried to sleep in the following morning but it was so loud. Sounds coming from every direction. You can hear the cleaning ladies moving furniture on the balconies and patios. You can hear people running down the hallway. Hear people above you walking very "hard"...Very noisy. Like living in an apartment with thin walls. Either way I would stay again. Maybe next time on a higher floor and will check the water temp first. Would have given a higher rating but for the high price of this hotel...hot water should be included.

Yelp
Good service all week we stayed at the hotel and breakfast service and the bartender on the evening were very friendly and helpful. Food all week was good, only wish they had a standard egg, bacon/sausage, hash browns and toast option or breakfast buffet to have some days and that as a Diamond Hilton member I actually received a free breakfast and not just $18 per person for two people as the cost per item was higher than $18 provided. Happy I got some credit each day as breakfast was not cheap but at least most of the food was very good. Especially enjoyed the french toast and chicken tender breakfast. The yogurt and fruit was good, as was the breakfast scrambler. At night enjoyed the margarita with 818 reposado tequila. Enjoyed that and a 818 Anejo straight which bartender offered with large cube. He did a great job taking care of drinks.

Yelp
I spent 3 glorious days here with 70s weather. A far cry from 112 in Palm Springs. I spent an extra 20 bucks for an upgrade, well worth it. The parking was free and plentiful. There was no housekeeping during my stay and i liked it. I felt safe and secure the entire time. I did eat at the restaurant, which was great. It was a little pricey, but the view is spectacular. I hope to come back very soon. It was a Nice visit.
