I am unable to provide much insight regarding a guided tour, as I did not participate in one. However, the provided description was quite helpful and sufficient for a self-guided experience. It is a wonderful location with excellent beer, where one can enjoy spending several hours with friends.

Excellent experience touring the Boags Brewery in Launceston. You are shown the workings of the Brewery, the history of Boags Brewery including a wonderful story of heroism from the past, the whole process of their brewing process and of course, a chance to dabble in a paddle of their finest brews.

Must Visit! 🍻 Loved this tour! add this to your Tasmanian bucket list immediately. The James Boag Brewery tour in Launceston is 100% worth your time. You get the story of how James Boag went from “beer dreamer” to local legend, plus a walk around the brewery itself. It’s kid-friendly with interactive bits, and at the end, you get to taste 3 fresh beers. Totally recommend. 5 ⭐️. Cheers!

We had an amazing tour on the Monday just gone at 11am. We had an awesome tour guide who was so knowledgeable and you could see she genuinely loves her job! It was so good to try the beers at the end of the tour, they were beautiful!!

Great experience, guide was so knowledgeable of the history of the brewery and also the city! Great way to get the kids involved with a map to find things around the brewery made it more fun for kids! Definitely a must if you come to Launceston and you enjoy great beer!

We had a great experience on the 3pm James Boag's Brewery Tour yesterday. Our guide, Ashley, was outstanding, she struck the perfect balance between making the tour educational and keeping it fun and engaging. Her knowledge, passion, and sense of humour made the whole experience memorable. Ashley is a real asset to Boag's. The included tasting afterwards was the perfect way to finish. All the beers we tried were great, and we especially loved being able to sample a few that aren’t available anywhere else. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Launceston whether you're a beer lover or just curious, it's well worth it! 🍻

I had a fun and fascinating experience on the brewery tour! The guide was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making the tour both enjoyable and informative. Tasting three signature beers fresh from the tap was, without a doubt, the highlight of the experience. The flavors were absolutely amazing, and Boag's St George stood out as my personal favorite. Highly recommend!

We had the best time the minute we walked through the door. Our tour host Bec was knowledgeable, friendly and great at her job. The tour itself was very interesting and lots of fun, and afterwards we relaxed in the Wizard's Retreat where Bec and her offsider served us beer and answered all of our questions about the fantastic mural! Cannot recommend highly enough and will definitely be going back when I visit Tassie again!
