Great tour of the James Sedgwick Whisky Distillery... the home of Bain's Whiskey amongst other things. Shared the experience with some awesome friends.

The James Sedgwick Distillery is a must-visit for whiskey lovers! The tour was informative and well-organized, giving a fascinating look at how their award-winning whiskies are crafted. The tasting experience was the highlight—getting to sample a variety of their whiskies while learning about the flavors and history was fantastic. The setting is beautiful, with a relaxed and welcoming vibe that makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys good whiskey and a bit of South African heritage!

I have visited over 100 distilleries in my life in Taiwan at Kabalen at Santory Japan James in Ireland and over 95 distilleries in Scotland. I think it's really bad. If you want to visit the Binas brand in Wellington, you'll find yourself standing in front of closed doors with the notice Tasting on request. Do you take the side entrance? You get unfriendly staff who don't give you any information. Spins is really dead for me. It doesn't even taste that bad, but I can't support that. You can visit a distillery in Scotland at almost any time of year and any time of day, as long as it's light. One is always there. I've never experienced anything like this in Scotland. Therefore only a very bad review on my part, although I have already given many reviews and am aware of the responsibility of getting bad publicity.

It was a very interesting tour and the gentleman who was the tourguide, was extremely informative, making the tour even more worthwhile. If you are interested in the how and why's of whisky making, this is a must to do.

Wow ! 1000x recommend. Felt like an exclusive and private tour. Very friendly staff and fantastic whiskey. At no point were we rushed. Had enough time to ask questions and could carry out our tasting in our own time and truly experience the taste of single grain, blended and single malt whiskey.

The tour of the facility, the extra information and the tasting was a thing to witness. You will not be disappointed. Big bang for your buck. Also take advantage of their in store purchases. Good value for money.
