The current exhibition on the Bronzes of San Geminiano, which will continue until 12.10.25 is excellent and well worth seeing, in spite of the stiff entrance fee of 14 Euro. The Etruscan Roman finds exhibited there are not beautiful as the highlights of the grand collections of Graeco Roman art, but they are absolutely unique and show a hidden aspect of those pre-Christian civilisations. The Christian votive offerings still made today are a direct offspring of this forgotten culture of ritual offerings. The finds are beautifully exhibited, lit very nicely and well explained. Highly recommended!

Glorious space. Really enjoyed the exhibition, too. The adjacent restaurant is also lovely. ♡♡♡

Went to see the (free) tapestries exhibition in the upper hallway. Wow!! Such beautiful handmade works of art. This might be my favourite, but it's a tough call. I'm in awe of the skill of the crafters.

Another beautiful modern architecture along the river.

My experience at James Simon Galerie was extraordinaire! We visited the Elephantine Island of Millennia. World first class exhibition. Exceptionally curated! Well presented. Objects from other world museums, well explained and executed. I would highly recommend!

The Egyptian Collection, especially the one led by Nefertiti, is beautiful and unique 😍. There are many magnificent halls with high ceilings and lots of light. However, the basement is terrible—there's very little light, it's stuffy, and hard to walk through. It's a shame that you can't bring water with you. During hours-long walks, you get very thirsty. There are no stools you can take with you.

The café inside the James-Simon-Gallery in Berlin is a delightful spot to unwind after exploring the exhibits. With its modern design and large windows, the space feels bright and inviting, offering stunning views of the surrounding Museum Island. The menu features a great selection of fresh pastries, light bites, and quality coffee, making it perfect for a quick snack or a leisurely break. The relaxed atmosphere and friendly service make it a must-visit for both art lovers and those just looking to enjoy a peaceful moment in the heart of Berlin.

I’ve just walked around the gallery and the modern design surprised me a lot because it’s so gorgeous, beautiful and bright. I didn’t see inner design and the exhibition inside but I think it’ll be a good place to sunbathe and take a rest while visiting Berlin

Yelp
Sort of a misnomer. This is actually a building and not really a gallery. It is the entrance for the Pergamon museum. It also has a Cafe.
