We hosted our engagement party at Jamie Slone Wines and had such a great experience. The staff was super friendly and made everything feel easy and relaxed. The wines were amazing, def one of the best we’ve had in Santa Barbara. The space itself is beautiful and perfect for an event or casual wine tasting with friends. Prices are also really reasonable for the quality. Overall, highly recommend Jamie Slone if you’re looking for one of the best wineries and best wine tastings in the area.

Became a member of the wine tour and Jamie Slone was one of the wine tours. Such an amazing time and experience. We did the cheese and chocolate pairings- highly recommend. I’m a fan of reds and purchased the Apex. My friend bought the Chardonnay. The best wine tasting so far on our journey.

I stepped inside, unsure of what to expect, simply seeking a quiet retreat from the Fiesta festivities. I left as a member. Kym’s expertise and undeniable passion for wine made the experience unforgettable. One sip was all it took—I will be back soon. Thank you, Kym and Jamie!

Fantastic little spot. Stopped in to get some work done while my fiance was doing yoga next door. Wonderful wine of course but the owners Jamie and Kim were extremely welcoming and fun. Definitely recommend checking them out and enjoying their Cabernet and apex red blend. There Cab was one of the best in SB winery’s for sure!

My friends and I were looking for a relaxed spot to enjoy some wine and a cheese board. We sat outside, sipped on a few glasses of wine, and shared a delicious cheese board. All the wines we tried were fantastic and paired perfectly with the cheese. It's a great spot for a casual outing with friends!

Kim served us and it was so fun! We did the chocolate pairing and it was so worth it, I highly recommend it! Can't wait to come back and try the cheese pairing. It is extremely close to 3 other wineries and made the perfect date day!

We just happen to find this quaint little place. I love the decor and vibe. The hospitality, service and conversation was exceptional from Kym . And with Jamie We had a glass of Chardonnay . I highly recommend it. When you're in town check out Jamie Slone.

I purchased the wine trail membership and Jamie Sloan is a partner. This place is the only wine tasting room that offered an amazing gourmet cheese board and chocolate pairing. The wines are amazing, the owner-Jamie- was super hospitable. We spent over an hour at this place enjoying the experience. I will DEFINITELY return and highly recommend. I purchased the 2020 Apex Red blend and my friend got the Sauvignon Blanc. Amazing quality, taste and vibe.

A delightful surprise in the Presido district. We were referred here by another tasting room...Kym was a fabulous host while attending to several other parties. We were particularly appreciative of the decor and dog-friendly accomodation, and really enjoyed all the fabulous wines. We came home with Grenache, BoRific, Pinot Noir, Apex and Cab Duo. Thank you Kym! (and thank you for making Maddie feel like a Tasting Room princess!)

The service was not good at all. They were rude unfortunately . :( she continued to ask other tables if they needed anything and completely ignored us . We wanted to try a second round of wine but no once did she come by to ask.

We had such a fun and tasty experience at Jamie Slone Wines, and it was made even better with owners Jamie and Kym to walk us through their selection of wines. Jamie has such a vast knowledge of the different Bordeaux grapes they use, we learned quite a bit about his wines and the different AVA's in Santa Barbara County. We've been in before and have usually tasted at their indoor our outdoor tables, but this time we grabbed several seats at their bar and had a much more "intimate" tasting experience with Jamie and Kym.

I'm a kid, so I don't drink wine,but this place is amazing! There's a pretty sweet patio and an inside room! Like, go there NOW, dudes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My partner and I went to Jamie Slone for the first time a couple weeks ago! This is a great spot just out of the way from the foot traffic of state street. We sat down for a tasting out front. Jamie's wife was so helpful in navigating and discussing the different wines we tried, and helped us modify our tasting experience to explore different varietals we enjoyed or were more curious about! It was a great experience overall and we hope to return to buy more of their wines soon.

Found this comfortable and relaxing wine tasting location for a great experience of conversation and good wines. Miss Kim was awesome! She was very welcoming, fun to talk to and gave us the low down on each wine. Cheese board was the right touch! I wanted a bottle, my honey wanted a barrel! Stay blessed!

I went in for peace and quiet, came out with a wine membership--apparently I cope with the Fiesta chaos by joining wine clubs. One glass and I was hooked. Kym's wine knowledge and passion were undeniable. Thanks, Kym and Jamie, I regret nothing!

Came here with family. It was our first time going wine tasting in Santa Barbara. I had done the research and made reservations for us prior to going. We had hit traffic on our way to Santa Barbara and we were going to be late. We called in to let them know. They were really nice and said it was fine. We got there and our seating was outside ready for us. Was very nice. We were quite happy it was nice weather. We were greeted by Jamie, the owner. He was very attentive and nice the whole time we were there. We ordered their gourmet cheese board. It had a good amount of cheese, snacks, and crackers. It was really good. One cheese in particular, we all wanted more of. I got the mixed tasting. I love red wines but was in the mood for whites. Did see there was a Syrah on the mixed as well so I was quite excited to try it. My mother in law and brother in law ended up going with the red tasting flight. They were all very delicious - both mixed and red tasting. I think we were all in agreement that there were 2 on the red tasting that was not to our liking. Overall, we would definitely be coming back. Especially since I'll have to come back and pick up my wine for signing up for their membership.

We have been to many Santa Barbara wineries over decades and Jamie Slone is one of our favorites. It is always a great experience to taste wines with Jamie himself pouring and explaining the wines. On our recent visit he even did a blind tasting for us. The wines are elegant, balanced and flavorful and fairly priced. Highly recommend.

We had a perfect wine tasting experience at Jamie Slone. Kym was fantastic! She was so warm and friendly. She walked us through the wines and chocolates at a relaxed pace and provided easy-to-understand guidance for tasting/expectations. The wine and chocolate pairing was delicious. Very chill ambiance and perfect Santa Barbara weather. The alley next to Jamie Slone is perfect for photos. Could not recommend this establishment enough and will definitely be back.

A hidden gem right near downtown SB Jamie Slone winery has a great ambience and amazing wines. The snacks and chocolate pairing are delicious. My favorite is the Apex Red Blemd!

We enjoyed this cute and cozy winery. We shared a cute charcuterie board. The best part about this winery was the customer service. We enjoyed our visit so much. I wish I got her name. She was so funny and made us so welcomed. We will be coming back again soon.

Amazing. A lovely family-owned winery. We did a tasting of both red and white wines. I liked the Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah blend the most.

We had such a great experience. The ambience and the music fit so well. Our hostess explained each wine articulately and clearly was enjoying her time in conversation. We got the classic flight because we wanted to try different types of wine. Each one was delicious. We didn't try the chocolates but two other couples tried and they really enjoyed it. When we make it back to Santa Barbara we will definitely be coming back.

Jamie went above and beyond during our wine tasting! He was very personable and knowledgeable about his wines. My mother is not into a whole lot of wines, but he went out of his way to find a wine that was more her style. Even after our tasting ended there and we continued on, we walked by and he popped his head out to ask us how the remaining wine tastings went. Jamie and Kim were so hospitable and knowledgeable in the wine business. I truly loved the ambiance and the vibe at this tasting room. It is very inviting and the owners are super kind and friendly. They took their time to share their stories and to make our experience fun and memorable. My sister and I loved their wines! I particularly enjoyed their red blends and their Cab. The pizza was delicious and tasty! I highly recommend this tasting room for their food, service and cozy ambiance. This tasting room was one of the best in Santa Barbara!! I can't wait to visit again.

This was a quaint little tasting room, interesting find. Our server, Sam, was on it; gave us the AVA locations & run down on what types of grapes are being produced given the micro climates in the area. You can do a mixed flight of whites & reds or solely a reds - suggest take the chocolate if offered it pairs fairly well with the red flight. We did the 'Red Obsession Flight', Sam suggested the chocolates, yes plz. In short, not our types of wine, wasn't bad, just not to our personal liking. Wine tasting is really about what an individual prefers, likes or dislikes. I would say their 2019 Grenache Portico Hills Vineyard was really smooth, so smooth that if you forgot to drink it the flavors would - that the conundrum - you don't know. Hubby likes bold, brave wines, something that knocks his socks off; again just not to our taste buds. BUT we'll worth the stop, you'll learn what grapes are being grown in the area & taste something different that may appeal to you.

I have had two tastings at Jamie & Kym's tasting room. (Did you know he's from Tucson?) The first tasting was with Kym and I enjoyed a few varieties with some chilled whites since the weather was still warm. My more recent tasting was with the lovely Hope, and I enjoyed several reds paired with chocolates! Ooooooh! Hope was terrific, and very knowledgeable about the wines. This was 12/23 and business seemed steady, but most opted to taste outside. Me? I was cold the whole time I was in So Cal, so I was inside enjoying the pretty decor and ambiance. And yes I bought wine as well...for me and on behalf of an obsessed woman back in Tucson. But that's for another conversation.

Tom was our server for the day. He was very warm and welcoming and gave us great recs to eat outside of the winery. We tried one wine pairing with chocolate. He walked us through histories and details of the wine. We came on a Thursday afternoon so there was no wait and we sat right at the bar. Great experience. Nice ambience. It's a bit small but overall good wine.

Oh where to start! First of all, if you are in the Santa Barbara area and are looking at wine tasting, I would 100% check out this spot! I was with three other friends, so decided to book a reservation. It was super easy and had a ton of openings (even though it was Mother's Day weekend). Honestly, we could have walked up! Tons of tables and outdoor spots to choose from. Wine: So I loved that they had two tastings available: a white or red flight. I'm a red fan so that's what I went with. Then you could choose to add on a cheese box or chocolate. Wine tastings in may 2021, were $25 for the white flight and $30 for the red flight. The pours were honestly generous (given that they are meant to be smaller in size) and the cheese and chocolates paired well. Tommy was awesome in that he told us which cheese and types of chocolate paired well with which white or red. Overall a great experience and if we are ever back in the area, I would check them out again!

We've always enjoyed the wines and hospitality at Jamie Slone, and now that they are reopened for tasting on their outside patio area, we're excited to once again be there in the El Paseo with Jamie, Kym, Julianne, Tommy, Jake . . . and Sophie. Always enjoy their wide variety of Red Blends, with their Lozier (GSM Blend) leading the way. Usually hard to pick a favorite, but the BoRific, P1, Apex and Super Tuscan are also rich and delicious. And don't forget to taste their Pinot Noir. In their world of white wines, our favorite being the Mrs. B (Grenache Blanc), with their Chardonnay, Sauv Blanc, Albarino also tasting wonderfully. We're also anticipating the release of their Rose of Grenache . . . always delicious .

Loved this tasting room in Santa Barbara! Jamie and Kym Slone are the perfect hosts. the wines are fantastic and the outside patio is the perfect setting for tasting! My daughter and I stumbled upon this cute tasting room because they were open. That is a joke we told to Kim, Jamie's lovely wife. We had tried other tasting rooms but all were closed ... so here we are! Cannot say enough about the wonderful wines and fabulous conversation with Kim. Jamie was just as fun as he bounced about entertaining their guests. We ended up buying a bottle of wine and immediately after we left we kicked ourselves for only buying 1!!!! Oh well, I guess we have a great reason to head back to Santa Barbara, enjoy Kim and Jamie, and buy more wine!!

This is such a good wine bar in a nice location. Wee visited from Dallas and had the pleasure of being hosted by the owner Kim! Kim is amazing and made a perfect charcuterie board to compliment our wine flights. I will definitely recommend to others and visit again when I'm in the Santa Barbara area :)

2nd stop of our wine tasting tour. We upgraded and added the chocolate pairing which I've never tried before. The chocolates are fine quality and fun for the pairing.

A great time with delicious wine. Tommy was so friendly, helpful, and informative. He provided great service. The wine is of high quality; you can definitely taste the difference. Highly recommended! Seating is in a peaceful and fairly quiet area.

The wine tasting here was fantastic. Had an excellent time as we slowly enjoyed each delicious offering and listened to a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We were given all kinds of information about the wine as well as everything local. Would definitely go back, and bring more friends!

We visited because another place wouldn't take us as we were 3 minutes late. We are VERY happy to have come here. Heather was AMAZING. Enjoyed the wines and the cheese board. Highly recommend if you're ever in the area.

Pricey and the wines were not that interesting. $30 for a red flight and $25 for a white and red mixed flight. It's a pretty small tasting room with room for about 3 or 4 parties (we had 6 and the table was just able to fit us) but they also have a couple of smaller tables outside. Note that they don't grow their own grapes but source from growers around the region. I don't have a problem with that but I found their reds to be a lot on the drier and less fruit forward side. My favorite on the red flight tasting was the pinot noir since it was the brightest and more fruit forward. Very light though. The others in the flight (red blends, GSM, etc) had more body but we're just ok on flavor. Service was really friendly though and he took the time to explain all the different wines and answer any questions we had.

We went for Valentines Day and loved it! Kim and Jamie were very short-staffed but STILL attentive. We are the only black people there and we did not feel any type of way - they sat us right in the front - this was a huge plus for us! The wines were delicious, we tried the classic flight, cheese box, and chocolate bouquet. We also loved that it was walking distance from State street so we were able to walk on the promenade after. Fantastic wine tasting! A friend of mine and I were exploring Santa Barbara and decided to stop by Jamie Slone Wines. We did a wine tasting paired with chocolate and both, the wine and chocolate, were great. Tommy was working and he was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Just a note - when we went, Santa Barbara was only allowing outside seating. But, they have a nice patio sets to accommodate this.

$25 for the Classic wine tasting which included 5 tastings two whites one rose and two reds. All were lovely. Kim was our host and she greatly explained all the wines to us in detail. We also purchased a $19 cheese mini box. Great snack to have with our tastings. Was a lovely experience and would definitely return and highly recommend.

Amazing place! Really felt at home at Jamie Slone Wines. Lindsey did an amazing job of making us feel welcomed and cared for on a particularly rainy day in Santa Barbara. She gave us some great insights into wine tasting and recommended a really interesting book that she uses to evaluate wine. Really homey vibe and great staff that went the extra mile to make our experience special! Only disappointment was not getting to meet Jamie himself who is apparently working the bar quite frequently.

The wine pairing and chocolate pairing was absolutely the best. Our waiter Tommy was fantastic on recommending the flights and pairings. And this is my third time visiting Jamie Sloan, which is highly recommended
