I really enjoyed the food at Jamjar. I always love Lebanese food and this place did not disappoint. I got the chicken platter and my partner got the seven spiced sausages. I paired my meal with the lentil stew as well and it really was so yummy. I was very pleased with my choice. Definitely would come again

One of the healthiest delicious middle eastern food I have had in a while! I was a bit hesitant to visit due to mixed reviews here and I am so happy I listened to my instincts and visited this gem of a restaurant today. The service and food was beyond incredible! The restaurant is so cozy and spacious. Ample street parking available and my sister has celiac allergy for diary and gluten, so we were also able to get customized food based on her restrictions.

Unfortunately it didn't meet our expectations. All the dishes tasted too salty. The portions were a little small but since it was salty it didn't matter. Service and atmosphere was nice if you want an easy going casual place to dine.

Their deep fried cauliflower (Makali Mezze) is quite amazing. The cauliflower is a must try and is a mixture of toasty crispiness and richness while being soft and tangy with the pomegranate molasses it is tossed in. It’s delicious. The fatoush salad was standard. The Hummus trio was a good variety of hummus flavours and the chicken shawarma was juicy. The lamb sausages had good snap and flavour and came with pickled cabbage and tomatoes making it nice and colorful. The falafel had nice spices and was aromatic and the texture was crispy on the outside. Everything was tasty and invigorating. Portions are on the smaller side though.

4.5/5. Would've appreciated faster service but they did accommodate platter request when out of normal service time. Food was as good as each time I visited and the decor was relaxing and inviting.

I got the halloumi benny with spiced potatoes for brunch and everything was so delicious and fresh! I love the Lebanese twist on the coffees and there's tons of great vegetarian friendly options 🥰 I'll be back! The interior is bright and lovely - great vibes all around :-)

I used to love Jamjar. The food used to be outstanding. I’ve ordered it for takeout twice now and been pretty disappointed. My last order of the cauliflower, which normally is outstanding, was so oily and didn’t have the usual molasses sauce - it was super plain. Not to mention my takeout order was wrong.

Tried this place for the first time with my partner and was left disappointed—overall experience was a 4/10. Service was lacking. The host didn’t warn us that the pan was extremely hot, resulting in a minor burn for my girlfriend. No effort was made to remove unused cutlery either. The food was overpriced for what we got—$19 for two eggs, one meatball, and a few tomato slices. The $6 Turkish coffee tasted like drip coffee with lots of grounds. The $24 cold mezze platter looked nice and had decent flavor, but still felt overpriced. The atmosphere was awkward: low music, cramped tables, and little privacy. On the plus side, the decor and wall art were lovely.
