Excellent food and service but with a few things to keep in mind. Ja!mon Ja!mon was a great meal. The salads were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully balanced and honestly some of the best we’ve ever had. The food overall was top quality, and the presentation was thoughtful without being overdone. Service was also a great. The staff was friendly, informative, and very accommodating with allergies, which we really appreciated. The swordfish and sweet-and-sour salmon were both excellent. Cooked perfectly, well-seasoned, and paired with sides that showed just as much attention to detail. Every dish felt like it had real care behind it, and nothing was rushed or generic. One thing to know: the codfish in a clay pot is a traditional Portuguese dish. It’s not made with fresh fish. The cod is cured in salt for over a year, which gives it a very salty flavor and a dense, gummy texture. This is not a problem with the restaurant it’s just how the dish is meant to be. That said, it may not be for everyone, and it’s worth asking questions before ordering if you’re unfamiliar with it. Prices are on the higher side, especially for lunch, but the quality and service make it worthwhile. Everyone at our table enjoyed their food, and we would absolutely return. This place is a great choice if you’re looking for elevated Portuguese cuisine and professional service in a relaxed setting.

Incredible food. We had the cheeks, potato skins, fried runner beans, shishito peppers, and the Iberian ham. The desserts were outstanding as well. Service was great and so welcoming. Make sure to get a reservation as multiple people were turned away because they were booked for the night.

Great place in Obidos for something different than the other restaurants that pretty much all have the same menu. They have tapas style dishes which were all decent!

Very nice food. We went for the sharing dishes. 2 per person is definitely not too much, as the portions are quite small. The dishes come out the kitchen very quickly, which is a plus in our books. We also loved the service here. Everything was very well done.

I had the pork cheeks in wine sauce, the shrimp in garlic, delicious olives and bread, an almond cake for dessert and house white wine. It was all delicious and the service was attentive, helpful and very cordial

We followed our waiter's recommendation and had a great experience. Ordering four smaller dishes to share was more than enough for two. The amêijoas à Bulhão Pato are a must-try (clams) — a local specialty and absolutely delicious!
