Lovely authentic musuem both in summer and winter! They also organize markets once in a while, and especially their Christmas market is great. Great place to learn more about the history of Sweden and Jämtland

A must see for travelers. For a descendant of this region it was a joy to see the culture and history of my ancestors. The museum is very well thought out and executed, and contains much more than I had expected. Like almost everywhere, the staff spoke English and were very pleasant and accommodating. I went here in September and was pleasantly surprised by this museum. It was very large and had a lot of interactive exhibits for children and adults alike. I stayed for several hours and it was very cool to get to learn so much about this beautiful area.

A bunch of fakes after your money. Money-making robots. I haven't seen anything like that. It's abnormal. An aberration, I'd say. The place is beautiful but it felt like my soul had vanished. It is really odd to not recognize humanity in humans. An unbearable void
