Jan Thiel Beach

After a long sail day, we arrived at Jan Thiel Beach, a vibrant spot with plenty of restaurant and bar options to enjoy a refreshing cocktail. The atmosphere was unbeatable, with perfect views to sit back, relax, and watch the sun dip below the horizon—a picture-perfect ending to the day.

I enjoy visiting this place from time to time for snorkeling, lounging, hiking, or dining. There are plenty of restaurant options available. Please note that there is a fee to access the beach for swimming or snorkeling. They also offer massage services and diving lessons. While it may not be the best spot for snorkeling on the island, it’s still a solid choice overall. Additionally, there are retail shops and gift shops on-site.

Beautiful beach, crowded, but not overwhelming. It is safe to leave your stuff with a family or couple that you happen to be sitting by while you swim. The water is heaven by the way, so clear and blue, and the temperature is perfect. Wish there was more (any?) free seating but you get what you pay for, I guess. Pregame before coming or bring a Stanley because the drinks at the bar are expensive but not super strong!

Very crowded. Get there early for a decent seat. Snorkeling : decent snorkeling! Go past the dock in the water towards the point and there is a good reef for exploring. The waves get a little choppy but there are large schools of fish and some decent coral formations.

Beautiful sand beach with sunset views. Snack bars and drinks available for a 10-20 US $. Entrance was 3,50$ US per person. The beach is a bit small and you will sit very closely to others. Fun for all ages !

Very nice place to see the sunset and have a pizza (it is very great). The marine life is very nice and you have plenty of it in there. The entrance is payed and you cannot go with your own food and drinks. Also, you can rent snorkel and fins with scuba-do diving center.

Fantastic beach but very expensive No outside food or drink so have to buy their overpriced Water and beach were phenomenal though

This beach is very good for snorkeling. Relaxing beach with amazing sunset views. The water is clear and good for swimming above and underwater.
