Here’s an improved and more elaborate version: “We visited the Janaki Temple with our family on Saturday, March 1st. Unlike many other temples, the Janaki Temple wasn’t crowded, which made for a peaceful and serene experience. The temple is spacious, with a large open corridor outside and ample space inside, allowing for a calm, reflective atmosphere. The architecture of the temple is absolutely stunning, with intricate carvings and beautiful details that showcase the skill of the artisans who built it. This temple is dedicated to mother Sita and holds immense spiritual significance. Adjacent to the temple is a place called ‘Bibaha Mandap,’ which translates to the ‘Marriage Hall where the wedding ceremony of lord Rama and Sita had taken place in ancient time .’ This area is equally beautiful, and standing there, I could truly feel a sense of divinity and peace. The entire complex, with its calm surroundings and historical importance, felt sacred and filled with a spiritual energy that made the visit truly special.”

My eyes are blessed 😭♥️ this is breathtaking architectural marvel and a must-visit for anyone traveling to Janakpur. The temple’s intricate designs and vibrant colors make it stand out as a stunning piece of history and devotion. It holds deep spiritual significance as the birthplace of Goddess Sita, making it a sacred pilgrimage site for Hindus. The atmosphere is serene and peaceful, with a large courtyard that allows visitors to soak in the temple’s beauty. The temple opens in the morning, closes at 11 AM, and reopens at 4 PM. The surrounding market also offers plenty of local handicrafts and traditional food options, giving a glimpse into the local culture. The temple is also accessible, making it easy for everyone to visit. But Im giving 4 star because it’s not clean !!!!!! People just throw plastics here and there. 🙃

Very beautiful temple in Janakpur. Excellent architecture. Better to visit in evening as temple is well illuminated at night . Sita Vivah mandap is next to the temple. Generally not so crowdy in week days.
